[Resolved] Voltas — defective voltas 1.5 ton ac 5 star | |||
I purchased an ac on 14/4/2019 from isha electrovision pvt ltd sadar bazar rd, jacobpura, sector 12, gurugram, haryana and it got installed on 17 april. When i started the ac after 3-4 days it was not cooling so i raised a complaint to voltas regarding same. A technician came and checked, found that the cooling coil is not working and said it need to be repaired but i didn't want my new ac to be repaired or serviced as its a new and unused product, so i called the shop from where i purchased the ac, they denied to replace the ac saying voltas will repair it. I again complaint voltas and had a conversation with the service team and i agreed on replacing the cooling coil with the new one. From 25 april till today the coil not changed and its almost 15 days of purchase, i haven't used the ac. Store refused to exchange/replace and voltas not repaired the product what should a customer do in such case, where they invested the amount in a product which is not working ever since the purchase. Kindly resolve it asap else i have to go to consumer forum and highlight the issue to social media against the defaulters for selling a defective piece to customer. Attached is the invoice.
