On the 29th June, the AC unit stopped functioning and complaint was registered. Complaint number - [protected].
The first batch of service engineers came and said this was not their area of expertise and to contact the customer care again. On second call to customer care, a new team of service engineers came and diagnosed compressor damage; said it needs to be replaced. They said new part will be available with-in 15 days.
Since then, there have been regular follow-ups with customer care / ASMs etc and the date for availability of part keeps getting pushed. Have been given multiple delivery dates for July, followed by dates for August. On contacting the customer care again on Aug 22, we were referred to the BSM who assured early resolution but yet again there has been no action and the elusive part still is not available. Now the latest date given to us is August 29th.
So, in short throughout the hot months of July and August, Voltas has been unsuccessful to make a part available for repair of an in-warranty Air conditioner.
Now, I request for an immediate repair of the AC, without any further delay. Was this information helpful? |
