Dear S.E.(Comm.) & RGRO & Asst. Manager(HR & A), At first thanks for the good work and continuous and without break power supply. However, would like to bring to your notice a few problems related to customer service(Consumer ID[protected] /[protected] At first, the age being the AGE of OUTSOURCING and WBSEDCL is also not way behind, hence they too outsourced their meter reading job to some vendor. The vendor came with new technology, without checking its practicality WBSEDCL top brasses awarded the tender to this vendor. Now what is their process and hoe meticulously providing the service. 1. The print out of the bill, the paper bill, which is handed over to consumers is fax paper, the same paper that is found in an ATM or any Shopping Mall bill print outs. This particular print on such paper is not permanent and gets invisible after a point of time, so in practical after some point of time the consumers would not have any document or record of his or her consumption in hard copy format. Again every consumer is not tech savvy so they would not be able to take any duplicate copy on their own from your website, even if your website has the records. Moreover, if not so then one needs to visit any of your nearest office to get a duplicate bill. 2. Secondly, in the past if any door of a consumer is closed and your personnel was unable to read the meter, WBSEDCL used to send a minimum charged bill amount calculated as per the previous months consumption, whereas now your outsourced vendor sends a bill with a projected meter reading as per the previous months consumption and as a result and in reality to actually reach the projected meter reading a consumer might require half a year . So kindly look into the above complaints and grievances and take needful actions at the earliest and do not make me register a complaint against WBSEDCL to the Sate Consumer Forum.     Sir, I am Gobinda Chandra Ghara, a new consumer of Nandakumar CCC. I had applied for new connection two years ago. I had deposit Rs.-200/- as Earnest money on 09/04/2012(ref no. [protected]). The WBSEDCL Representative made his inspection on 14/06/2012. I had deposited Rs.- 800/- as House SC Charge and Rs.- 922/- as Security Deposit on 25/09/2012. On 23/08/2014 they had installed a new meter but it is defective. ACCORDING TO YELLOW READING CARD THE INITIAL READING IS 0000(ZERO) WHILE THE METER SHOWS 956 UNITS. My consumer ID No. is[protected], For last 6 months my Electric Meter was defective, however which has been changed few days before. As my meter was defective the meter reading must be generate as an average bill. In spite of that my bill was generated triple than that average bill. However without delay I have paid my first quarter bill. Please rectify the amount which has been generated early. Thanking You!!!

        Dear Sir,
        My name is Piao Hosing Chung, C/O Lembin Tannery Pvt. Ltd. at Mudibari, Barrackpore Barasat Road, Kolkata-121. and my Consumer ID. is[protected] having Meter no- L3362735.
        I am very sorry to inform you that my bills for the months March to May 2015 are erroneous. The bills amounted to Rs.2830 for the months March- May, 2014 while it climbed up to Rs.3785 in September-November, 2014, and further to Rs.10660 in December, 2014-February, 2015. Such consumption of electricity is not possible because my usage is 2 fan, 2 tube light, 1 Halogen Lamp, and one Tulu Pump for water which is used 10 to 15 minutes in a day, and my current bill is Rs.13186.00 for 3 months(March-May, 2015).
        I think there has a problem in electric meter, please check our Electric meter and kindly replace this as early as possible, and give me a rebate for this current bill .

              DEAR SIR/ MADAM, I pankaj Mukherjee from mogra, hooghly want to inform you that, from last 6 month my house metre in my name was stopped working and for that when i and my family member goes to our local office at Mogra for submitting the application, they simply ignore the matter and told us that they aware about it and do the need full in time. But it already 6 month over and still now it not replace and due to that i have to pay excess amount of Rs 1600 per month which was very high payment for me and my family to manage. So i heartly request you to please take the immediate action and allow us a suitable bill for alive.                         Hi, I have a flat at kestopur where no one is staying since April, 2014.Still electricity bill is coming around 1000 per month.meter number:T2182367.CONSUMER ID:[protected] Biling amount for Jul, Aug and Sep, 2014 came around 2952.27 while there is no one staying in the flat since april, 2014. After receiving this bill I immediatedly made a complaint in the electricity supply at Krishnapur branch.There I got a bad experience .according to them though the meter is not working still I need to pay that amount and also new meter box will be installed only after Oct, 2014 and so till the meter is not corrected and installed I need to pay this lumpsum amount every month. I was shocked to hear this.I met with the divisional manager of Krishnapur Supply .According to them a letter needs to come from the electricity supply board with a recommendation of adjesting the bill.But to my dismay till now no recommendation was sent from the supply board .Every time i follow for this they say they will sent.

                        I am here by sharing you my bad experience that i am having with WBSEDCL since last year 2018.
                        As meter was not working so submitted complain in hard and in soft form still now the meter has not been replaced.Consumer Id :[protected]in name of Mahendra Majumder).I have attached all the screenshots for your references.Last year I have paid (Dec 2017-Feb 2018) Rs 2214 and in (Mar-May 2018) Rs 784.But this the reading came of 3000 unit consumption of 3 months.Last Nov. 2018 our meter was in dismantle state, this act was done by our neighbour without any notice or information since then no action has been taken informed at local police station have all the documents .We are stun by the abnormal bill of 3000 units consumption report in 3 months.

                        Its a kind request to WBSEDCL kindly look into this matter and provide resolution at the earliest.

                                To, The Chairman West Bengal State Distribution Company Limited Vidyut Bhavan Block - DG Sector-II, Bidhannagar Kolkata - 700091 Sub : Complaint against shut down of power supply on regular basis Respected Sir/Madam, This is to bring your kind attention that I, Barsha Mahato(Consumer Id :[protected], a permanent resident of Bandwan block of Purulia district, want to inform you that we, the residents of our locality is suffering from regular shut down of power supply from WBSEDCL from last three months. The supply of power is pathetic in our locality. But as usual the office members of WBSEDCL office used to show the bad weather conditions like reasons in order to avoid their responsibilities. Power supply is cut off while a thin hint of cloudy sky. Same happens even there in no hint of bad weather conditons.They don't even bother to listen about our regular complaints against irregular power supply. Average shut down of power per is almost 5-6 hours a day. My locality belongs to comparatively rural areas and we do not expect better service and supply than from urban areas. But that doesn't mean that we have to suffer continuously in order to facilitate others. We also expect that service and of course in spite of any sort of rural-urban discrimination from a West Bengal Govt. enterprise. And the students of our locality are the worst sufferers as they are shutting down power supply regularly at 7-10pm apart of day time shut downs. I am a school teacher by my profession. So i think its my duty to put this serious problem to the authorities, who are in charge of looking after these sort of problems. And I believe it should be taken care of properly. Therefore we will be glad if you to kindly look into this matter sincerely and expect to do the proceedings for necessary steps to be undertaken from your part.                                   I am suffering for the past 2 months the electricity department is delaying my refund amount I have requested innumerable times for it and they keep on telling you need to wait if I delay to make a payment of the bill they charge me interest late payment charge or disconnect our connection now when it is there time to pay me back my due amount they are delaying, will I receive an interest the number of months they have kept my money. Need your immediate action on it.

                                    Sir, My SSI engg.unit named, Tathagata engg.works.vill-Basudevpur, P.O.-Belkulai, Dist-Howrah, pin-711322, consumer id[protected], our local electric office-Burikhali, Howrah(wB).It has been observed, at every time before shutdown they do not send any information, not only that, they do the shutdown programme on running day where shutdown day is scheduled on Mon day in our area but it not follow at all.For this, we suffer muchmore and our worker are Idle sitting, where we have to pay them salary without production.Eg.-Today(24.08.14) is shutdown from 10.30am to 3.00pm without information and our urgent production are in hamper. so, you are requested to solve above vital matter. we are waiting for your reply and also solutions. At the time of transaction, payment was found successful. But it was written that payment cannot be made.
