[Resolved] Whirlpool India — Delay in serving Refrigerator | |||
Just before Diwali, the WhirlPool Professional Fridge (by no means a cheap one) broke down. The person came and seemingly repaired it...it just shut down again. This time for good. Ofcourse, they could not say when they could put it right because the spare part (a PCB unit) was to be procured from Pondecherry.It has been 10 days since. Ofcourse, in between we got embroiled between the two service agents. We had signed up with Shree Enterprises (who took the cheque from us) while SSR Engineers were supposed to service us. When asked about the delay, we were informed by Shree Enterprises that we must take up the matter with Mr. Whilpool as they are the ones who actually took the money from us!!! wonderful. And, Whirlpool calls itself a consumer products company. This is totally unacceptable. Meanwhile, we spent a Rs. 13 K and got ourselves a small fridge to tide over the matter. An American Company can be so callous to consumer requirement. They outsource customer service (the most important part of consumer product) to one agency who then outsources it to another... Not sure where the buck really stops. What can be done? Was this information helpful? | |||
