[Resolved] Whirlpool India — Improper functioning of refrigerator model 20142 fp263d roy proton
Dear support, I have purchased a refrigerator – model 20142 – fp263droy proton – srl no. Ina[protected] from your dealer yogesh kumar rajesh kumar jain (Invoice attached) on 6th february 2017. On the day of installation, we were informed about the basic functions by your service engineer. However just vas the summer came, the refrigerator started showing problem and to my surprise the ice-cream kept in the designated ice-cream tray was found melting. I logged a call again on saturday 1st april and your service engineer showed up on the same day. His observations were surprising and are as below : • we need to keep the cooling always to maximum in both the freezer and normal portions of the refrigerator. • if we keep only the freezer at maximum, it will not work and we will get problem even in freezing of ice cubes. • the refrigerator cannot support keeping ice cream as its not designed to store it, the reason being that ice cream needs to be stored at a temperature of -18° c. It sounded real funny to me and i asked him that i will be approaching the company for it, wherein the response was yes you certainly can and you will get the same response. I still believe that there is some issue in the refrigerator which needs attention and don’t believe in the words of the service engineer that this is not designed in a manner that it can store ice-cream. To be very honest in last few days when the temperature was on a higher side, i found that even normal ice was melting. Hence request you to please provide proper solution to the issue. Looking for a responsible response followed by action which are justified to your international brand. Regards Navin tenani [protected]/[protected] Was this information helpful?
