Whirlpool India — product stopped working immediately after warranty expired | |||||
Whirlpool consumer complaint Product details: whirlpool w/mtl 6.5kg sw ultra65h f-grey Date: 25/01/2016 2 years warranty Price: 23, 500 Invoice no: slf02a[protected] It was an high end product in top-load washing machine category. Salesman has appreciated it a lot while selling it to us. This product has worked without any issue for till 26th jan, 2018. Exactly for 2 years. Now, it cannot be the co-incidence that whirlpool was trying to sell the extended warranty to us which we didn't buy and The product immediately stopped working after 2 years. The motor is not spinning and engineer is saying the gear box has an issue not the Motor (Which still covered in warranty). As a customer, i fail to understand this. Service engineer has visited and estimated a cost of 6000 for repair. I don't need a repair rather i would love to trash This stupidly engineered product. Gameplan: This seems to be like a gameplan wherein product is designed to work for 2 years. As a customer, i would not recommend any Product line of whirlpool now onwards (Not evrn any far-off or distance relative/friend). It's definitely not a sorry case. It's a big negative use case wherein whirlpool is trying to fool customer so i will definitely do my best to increase the awareness among user And promote this negative use case on all public consumer complaint portal.
