[Resolved]  Whirlpool India — whirlpool business strategy : stopped spare part and company selling new fridge to the same customer

We purchased whirlpool refrigerator for rs 40350, with 10 years warrenty.
Its not working now. And they say core board is the problem. And we do not have core board. We will buy back the fridge for rs 10 k. Surprised right!!!
Yes this is their business strategy.

What happend in recent days : we have given a complaint to whirlpool refrigerator service team on 22nd for not cooling. Technician came to us and put some hot water to freezer chamber. And took 550 rs from us and closed the case. Problem not solved.

Again we have given a complaint and this time he said, core board is gone. Without visiting the site. He knows that core board has a problem before. But still he took 550 rs for to pour hot water to freezer.

Now service people are saying part is not available in mangalore
And not in bangalore or faridabad too.

Now (Today morning) whirlpool said part is deprecated. So they will
We are frustrated with this whirlpool service center,
You service people
Your dealer.

The way they handling the case is horrible.

We need replacement for the refrigerator. Without spending any extra money.
We will spend 2000 rs for the board (Service person told us that core board price is 2000 rs approx)
