[Resolved] Whirlpool India — wrong charges by the company in the name of service when the device is under warranty | |||
I bought a whirlpool fully automatic top loading washing machine. The machine stopped working and i immediately called the customer care to ensure that there is no other problem in the machine. The customer care guy came and checked. He found that the fault is because of the problem in the electric switch. For this, he is charging 140 inr. The reason he gave for the same is that this is the issue o[censored]ser mishandling. Can this be simply justified? If the machine has stopped working, the user will simply call the customer care for a service request. He will not go and check across multiple plugs to see if the plug is working or not. There is no logic behind the same. This is a pathetic experience from their end. Also, i stated that the display lights are not coming properly. For this he said, that i must have removed the display lights and pinned them again. Was this information helpful? | |||
