My name is Asit Das using Wishnet Broadband Since 10 months. Every day after 10pm speed of my internet drop and not able to do anything. More than 15 times I make complain about this but till now problem not resolved. I dont know if they dont have sufficient bandwith then why they give huge connection. My login ID is - asitd_uc. Location- Shyamnagar, Ramkrishna pally.
If any Wisnet Executive see my postpPlease resolve my problem ASAP.

    Hi, my name is Sambid, I use wishnet broadband. For past two weeks I have been complaining against slow speed ping loss & they alwys send me a txt afer 2 days that the problem has been solved & closed but still there is no improvement. The Problem Stays The Same but they keep on txting that it has been solved & resolved. Really Bad Poor Service. They are all liers & say they will submit the case to a special department but still there is no progress. During the beginning of the month when I recharge the line is sumtimes stable but after 14 -15th of the month the problem always starts.

      Its going to be the first month for me and experienced a heavy unsatisfactory result by using wishnet. In a week i need to call us the customer care[protected] for more than 3-4 times every different days. I don't know where the call actually gets connected, but where ever it gets connected they are just, whatever you ask to them they just gonna tell you that they cannot provide personal information. WTF.
      When ever I wanted to get a complain number from them for my complains they just say that you will get a call from high technician and they will give you a complain number, and god knows when the call will come. Whenever the issue doesn't get resolve they say that there is a problem from your cable operators end, and when i ask my cable operator about the issue and all they say that there is server problem from wishnet end. Again WTF, you just gonna rome around with the answers from both the end. Even after this I don't think so that my sentences will make and changes to the companies services, and someone will take some actions towrds it. It just we the people who suffers.

        Installation charges

        Hi I stay near sarsuna Kolkata 61.I applied for a new connection from local cable operator and he charged me 1600 ₹for the connection.i tried to check with wishnet about the standard installation charge but to my surprise they were not able to tell me anything.the lady kept on saying check with local operator how do I know if he is charging me correctly....

          Hi, I am Suman Adhikary and using Wish net Broadband Internet services, my User name is sumanmou_megh This month I paid Extra for torrent peering but some selected movie give me peering which movie links provided by Wishnet and other movie haven't peering like Two months ago or some years old movie. Which movie I want to download those have Good sedding and good peers but there i didn't get any peering, I am using 512 kbps plan speed so some time I didn't get basi speed there. I have proof in a weak I didn't get basic speed any movie, also in there services have every day some isue and if I called them they just told me okay it will solved but where thay don't take any action. If any user want Wishnet I will highly Recommended PLEASE DON'T USE WISHNET. Thanks, Suman

            This is worst internet service provider at kolkata., i suppose, , ..almost 3 times a week pingloss issue, toll free no: pick up the phone and register call but close the case after 4-5days with out solving the issue. again if i call they again book the call and again closed after 4days w/o solving the issue. last 10days i am suffering..and no one is taking care of my problem. they have no other mode of lodging complain other than tollfree no., though this tollfree no is 24hrs no: but if we call after 6pm they say it will be solved next day after 10am..but this is not the fact they close the ticket w/o solving the issue after 4-5day minimum. Their complain solving method in their website totally fake..complaing cant be send coz the send button doesnt work.

                it is the 4th day when i was forced to lodge the complaint...4 days ago i applied for a connection.i was in an urgent need of internet broadband.i submitted all the necessary documents and paid in advance for the connection...i was applying for upgraded silver super plan...for that i had to 1500+663=2163...and the supplier promised me that he will give me the connection the next day...but it has been 4-5 days.he haven't yet given me the connection...i live in ICHAPUR, BADAMTALA...north 24 parganas...i have applied for the connection from wishnet dealer of ichapur...he has a shop named SREE GURU TRAVELS near badamtala bus stop G.P.ROAD...what the [censored] is this...why r u guys...so lazy...damnit...do something quickly

                  I am currently a resident of Kolkata, I am a customer of Wishnet Broadband Internet Service Provider. I am using the Plan - WishPower Super (1347/- Per Month).Since the past month (November, 2013) I have been facing internet connectivity problems on a regular basis. I have been informing the customer care of Wishnet also as been informed to report if there happens to be any sort of problem. The Customer Care number is[protected]. Whenever there is no internet connectivity, I report to them only to hear two things - "Please check the Ping reply to the dns address - 172.16.0.1" Or " Is Your LAN CABLE CONNECTED OR NOT..!!! ". I normally used to face the problem mainly at night time -Approximately - 10pm to 2pm. I used to call them up and report the issue. They keep telling me " They are registering a DOCKET number based on my complaint " and that " It is a problem that is field oriented ". And Yes the Problem IS RESOLVED by them only till the next night. My question is that is this going to occur on a daily basis ?? I have again faced the problem today - 13/12/2013 at about 11.25 am. I immediately called the Customer Care and informed them, but to my astonishment i found out that the executive was very rude and he hung up before even i could say anything. He seemed not the even trying to listen to me. I again called up and sternly replied to the next Customer Care Executive who received the call, " What kind of behavior is this?? " He just gave me an email id to which he told me to mail my doubts and complains. My question is that I am using this Internet service only by paying an amount which is more or less NOT CHEAP (1347/- per month). Is this the kind of BEHAVIOR and QUALITY OF SERVICE that I am supposed to get after trusting this company? There is a Customer Care Service of the company where we can inform our complaints and queries, but this company provides none i guess. I would like the consumer forum officials please help me in finding a solution regarding this issue.

                        With due respect I would like to inform you that I am using the internet connection of WISHNET from the last 5 years.My user id is debdattab_jk .But from the last month I am facing tremendous problem in the line. Upon complaining this issue to my local service provider (JACKVISION) the executive (Sudipto Ghar) behaved very roughlywith me as well as my mother who is senior to him .He also instigated us to go for a 2nd option and quit the Wishnet service. Moreover he deliberately doesnot attend my call as the number has become familiar to him.
                        I still donot have my line whereas my neighbors have it. I took this line solely for Educational Purposes but every day at night when I turn off my P.C I have my net connection but surprisingly when I switch it on in the morning I donot get my net connection .
                        As per my payment record is concerned, I never miss or bargain a payment. I have a good reputation about this.Inspite of all this I have to face this problem.
                        Now my question lies with you that why I have to face this issue day after day? After complaining it takes 4-6 hrs to restore my line.

                        This is my last and final letter to you..

                        According to the Consumer Act, you are bound to provide me the uninterrupted connection as I am paying the entire subscription amount without any bargaining by the first week of the each month.

                        Hence I am claiming back the INSTALLATION amount as well..

                        I am expecting a feed back from you within 2 working days failing to which I will be bound to complaint this issue to the CONSUMER FORUM as well as to DEPARTMENT OF TELECOM (DOT).

                        He is a real crap! I am having awful service from them and Wishnet since three months. Ping response is pathetic and I am constantly getting three/four request timed out errors after each ping response! I called Sudipto Ghar, and he told me that he would be visiting my house to check the issue in the next half hour. But he never came and I am tolerating such crap connection from then on. Why should I get such service, when I am paying the full amount in advance, without any delay or bargaining?

                        When I complained them again and again, and visited their office, they agreed with the bad quality of service, and kept promising me that they will change my connection with alliance, which will solve the issue. This month also, he came to take the subscription amount, he promised that he would be changing my connection with alliance before 7th of May, 2014. But when I called him on the 6th about the status of alliance connection, he behaved rudely and told me to get other connection, if I think someone can provide better connection than what they are providing to me at this moment. When my father called him, he also behaved rudely with my father!

                        I am a software developer, and I always need to get connected to the Internet. Sudipto Ghar knows that and still he was playing such a nasty game with me. I am taking Internet connection from someone else, but not from Sudipto Ghar, ever! He is such a !

                            I have taken broadband connection from WorldView Telecom ( Local Internet Connection Provider).
                            The ISP of the connection is Wish Net Private Ltd.
                            The Connection is lack of security. There is no MAC locking, so anyone could browse anyone's files.
                            I could view files of different computers having a same range of IP addresses. So I think anyone could view my computer's files. Now the work group is showing at least 21 computers.
                            This is my earnest request to the concerned department to look into this matter and provide me full security.

                              Wishnet broadband are cheats and vandals

                              Wishnet is a Kolkata based "ISP" that has a fancy website and that promises incredible things on it, but they are really a third rate operation with absolute third class infrastructure and service. Furthermore, they have gundas and vandals working for them who do not understand anything about the internet, internet speeds, or how to run an ISP and will instead harass you if you suggest cancellation.

                              This is to inform you that I, Mr. Tilak Chakroborty had taken wishnet broadband connection from my local cable operator. wishnet broadband is provided by the company

                              Wish Net Private Limited,
                              Address:
                              86, Golaghata Road,
                              Jamuna Apartment, Ground Floor,
                              Kolkata - 700 048,
                              West Bengal, India

                              In their website they showed their Tariffs/Schemes. Based upon the information provided by the company in their website & my personal experience o[censored]sing Wishnet Broadband in one of my Known persons office i applied for the connection. The cable operator provided me with a 256 Kbps connection which according to the company costs Rs.345 per month but the operator is charging me Rs.550 per month which is the cost of a 512Kbps Connection. When asked upon the matter the operator said that the extra charges are LMC i.e. Line Maintanance Charges. Since they donot have much customers out here they have to impose a heavy LMC upon us. The company never revealed any such charges. I told the operator that, in Moulali Area the service providers are taking the exact charges mentioned in the company's tariff but they paid no heed to the point and told me that if I had a problem regarding the charges they would be more than happy to discontinue my Internet service but wouldnot refund the charges paid (Rs.1500) while installation. When i told them of complaining to consumer complaint cell & TRAI they said, 'We are out of their reach. Try it out.'

                              I contacted the company on their Customer complain no. and complained about the problem but they replied that they could do nothing about it since charges are dependant upon the operators since they take care of the company's marketing.

                              I asked them for the phone no. of their Nodal officer which they refused to provide, I also requested them for the Phone no. of the authorised person who i can speak to for which they promptly replied, 'We dont have time for these sort of complains, pls sort it out with the operator.'

                              Sir/Madam, I feel cheated, humiliated & helpless. I dont have a problem paying Rs.550 provided i get the bandwith the company entitles me to get. pls help me regarding the matter & take strict action against the people concerned.

                              Local operators are charging consumers unneccessarily high prices for lower quality service just on the basis of area specific observations.
                              These matters should be taken to court proceedings as these service providers are actually commiting frauds.They are not only cheating the public, also the company.

                              There is a local internet provider in the Street No. 27, Tughlakabad Extention, Near Kalka Ji, South Delhi. He is openly cheating very large number of people, specially students by charging a huge amount of money and not providing the proper services.

                              His internet is off almost all the time and even when it works, the connection comes & goes frequently. When we try to complain, either his all cells are always OFF, or he/his boys don't response properly. We all are very frustrated and seeking help from any one out there, who has guts to teach this man a lesson -

                              i've had worse problems with wishnet after trying to get 1Mbps connection. their infrastructure cannot handle anything beyond 0.3Mbps and they charge insane amounts for their connection. their connection is also highly unstable. when i called repeatedly they were unable to do anything about it. finally, when i canceled after a month and signed with Airtel they refused to give me back my Rs. 1000 security deposit and sent their gundas to cut my airtel wire from outside my house!! Yes - they are such vandals. Don't do business with them - you'll be stuck with a third rate operation and third class service. Stick to the Tatas and Airtels of the world - they're far better.

                              I was used your connection but the operator did not allow me quality service they have connect with the help of electricity hooking from nearby electric pole, they do not arrange their own electricity line resulting disconnect my line almost 15 to 20 time in a day. Name of the operator is Joydeb Shyamnagar. north 24 parganas.

                              WISHNET the BULL !!! Don't go for WISHNET ever

                              They are totally fake regarding their commitment & tariffs. I am paying INR 550/- each month(2MB/s unlimited plan) in lieu of that they provide 10kbps speed sometimes totally disconnected. I had called in their tollfree no many times either booked ticket against my complain, and sent resolved status without visiting or they told me 'technician will call u shortly' with improper behaviour. The best broadband i think ALLIANCE but unfortunately in my area ALLIANCE is not available
                              Dear Sir/Ma’am,
                              I have been using your net connection since a very long time under the user name manasc_dd.
                              In the past 2 months the service provider “S.S. CABLE LINK- 1/24, Baishnabghata Patuli Township, Kolkata-700094” has been causing a huge number of problems.
                              Since the past 2months the owner/provider has not being supplying proper internet connection, every time a complaint is logged they send people to check the box, net gets connected but then again within 24hrs the same problem repeats itself. Thus we were not able to use the net and the owner kept on blaming us that our computer is at fault and also said it is the wishnet’s fault. No matter how many times we checked, the computer was all working fine. Realising this he changed the lan wire and after that we have been getting proper net.
                              Today 31st October 2015 we installed a router for which the wire had to be shifted from one room to the adjacent room for which he charged Rs.300, when asked for a receipt he fumbled and said that will cost extra. He also stated that he “didn’t charge for the change of lan wire” which was actually their responsibility, he further said that he changed the wire only because it had some “minor” problems, the problems for which we were debarred from using the net for 2months for which we paid.
                              We did not ask for a refund for the 2months of bad service, but this was not called for. Rudely he insulted the family name in front of his workers and kept blaming “wishnet” and our “computer” for the bad service. He also said there won’t be any use writing a complaint to WISHNET as there are no “WITNESSES” to the event. Is this the type of response and service we PAY FOR?
                              Finally, it saddens me to say that WISHNET is providing service through such a dishonest businessman.

                              Dear sir/Madam,

                              This is to inform you that I, Mr. Dipankar Sarkhel had taken wishnet broadband connection from my local cable operator.
                              I have used this connection since last 3 years. But whenenver i have a problem with conection no one recieve the call from your customer service side. Even they dont know how to behave with customers, they dont know how to solve the problems. Specially the girls. From last two days i am facing the problem but still now no one can solve this and everytime i called your customer care but no one can recieve the call yet. If this type of service ia going on i will inform the management team of wishnet.

                              Judging from the complaints received, it is better to opt for new service provider.
                              Fraud totally... pls... donot take this connection.

                                Dear All,

                                This is to hereby inform you that i have applied for broadband cable services from my local cable, who are holdingthe following address

                                West Bengal, India

                                As such,they have taken money from me 3 days back and still now there have been no information about installation of broadband services and while calling they straight away said that they will install my internet services by 48 hrs of application for internet services, as per the guidelines printed on booklet. However when threatening them for leagal actions, they straight away said they dont care about it...Kindly help me to get my money back and also to take a legal action against them,
