Mis-selling by Excitel Request for Disconnection and Refund

I have submitted the router, its been more than 2 months since my connection is terminated still i have not received any money from them. Termination of broadband services

29/4/2025 - An Excitel employee messaged me on Whatsapp stating that they issued a notice against me for not returning the router after terminating my connection. The issue for termination of connection was that in Jan, '25 there was a service outage for more than 3 weeks. I am writing to raise a serious complaint against Excitel Broadband.

On 24/04/2025, I paid for a broadband connection through Excitel. However, even after 24+ hours, there has been no connectivity or installation at my address. When I contacted their customer support, they not only failed to resolve the issue but also denied giving a refund, clearly stating “Jo marzi karlo, hum refund nahi karenge”. They told that we don't have refund policy but what about the inconveniences caused to customer?
This is shocking and highly unprofessional. I am a former customer of Excitel who recharged after a gap of over a year. They accepted my payment without confirming technical feasibility and have not delivered any service whatsoever.
I’ve already contacted them via Twitter, and although they said they would escalate my concern, no action has been taken. I’ve also escalated to @jagograhakjago on Twitter, but Excitel is still delaying resolution and refusing refund.

This is a clear case of:
Deficiency in Service
Unfair Trade Practice
Mental harassment and financial loss
My Request:
Immediate refund of the full amount paid for the service
Compensation for the inconvenience caused
I urge the concerned authorities to take strict action against Excitel and help me get my refund. I am also prepared to file a formal complaint through the Consumer Court (E-Daakhil) if this issue is not resolved promptly.

      Router

      I am getting legal notice from the Excitel that I need to pay INR 25000 for their router, as I haven't returned their device and It's harrasment to their agent according to Excitel.
      Router was burnt in fire accident which I have conveyed to customer service several times and I cancelled the connection therafter as I relocated.
      I have patiently explained the scenario every time the agent contacted.

        I, My 247 Services Pvt Ltd, residing at Ground Floor, F-3, Sector 8, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, 201301, would like to file a formal complaint against Excitel Broadband for failure to provide the service I have already paid for.

        I had subscribed to Excitel’s 6-month 300Mbps plan and made the payment of ₹ 3894.00 on 09-Oct-2024 at 17:18:25 (Payment Reference: xc-payin-Delhi-67066d7c7634e). At the time of payment, I was assured that the installation of the internet connection would be completed within a reasonable timeframe.

        However, it has now been 7 days since the payment was made, and despite multiple follow-ups with Excitel’s customer support team, the installation is still pending. This delay has caused significant inconvenience, particularly as I rely on a stable internet connection for my business operations.

                i terminated my connection and they collected my router from my home on 22/05/2025 without giving me any information about my security deposit refund. i called them one week later and the agent told me that 60 days later i will receive an SMS with the details for my refund. 60 days later, on 23/07 i called them again because i recieved no further update. the agent that connected with me this time told me that i should've received the SMS 45 days after the router was collected. he then told me that he has escalated my issue and it will be resolved ASAP without committing any further time frame. next day i called them again, and the agent this time told me that I have to wait 45 more days now. i told her that the agent i previously talked to did not tell me about this. she was also shouting at me and talking very rudely. it's been 5 more days now and i have had no update from them. each time i call them i am given different answers without any resolution.

                  It's been three days, and my internet is still not working. Interestingly, no one from Excitel has called to address my issue. I've been making multiple calls daily, but every customer care representative asks for more time and mentions that they have escalated it to higher management.

                  All I want is a refund. This is my second complaint, and my previous issue took 15 days to resolve. I've faced these two problems within just 1.5 months.

                  Please let me know the procedure for refunding my money. I cannot continue with this unreliable service. If they do not refund my money, I will not return their modem.

                    I am one o[censored]r excitel broadband user from Agra. This is to inform you that the team which is handling operations in agra is the worst service team i have ever seen. I registered my complaint on 6th july on excitel app and since 6th july till today i had made numerous calls to the local team for the resolution but either they dont pick my number or when i call from another number they ask me to wait for few hours. This is what is exactly happening since last 6 days.

                      I got an Excitel broadband connection on June 1st. When the technician arrived for the installation, I instructed him to place the wiring in my living room, which is the center of my home. However, he installed it in the hall instead. As a result, I do not get proper signals in all three rooms, and the connection disconnects very frequently, which is hindering my work. I raised a request on June 2nd to move the connection from the hall to the living room, but this ticket has not been addressed yet. I have added multiple comments and called their customer care, but the issue remains unresolved.

                      I would like to request a refund. Please help me.
