Kindly note this complaint is regarding santragachi area broadband service. The broadband is disconnected since 4 days and nobody is there to entertain the matter.
I tried connecting to the customer support but they are not recieving the call.
The local dealer is such a nut that he is not providing the service in the area

      Since yesterday, the network of our wifi isn't working at all. And as per instruction, we tried to contact he customer service number today but they aren't receiving our calls at all. Also we don't have any contact numbers for the wish net people so kindly please give us a number.

          My name is sangita das. I have had an account with customer id 10298 and user name sangita_jit with you. My registered phn no with you is [protected]. Without my consent and knowledge my account has been changed to pmpl by my local cable operator in march 2020. I wanted to recharge my lan connection on 16/04/2020 and to confirm if it is ok to recharge the pack i called your customer care executive on the same day he told to proceed. So i recharged 499 bronze pack with gst it costed about 550 with transaction no c9qzvia5.
          Now kindly return the amount to my account as i am not using the plan.

            No internet is available since friday. We have called in the helpline numbers, but got no response. We have been facing lot of problems due to no internet. It is my humble request to look into the matter as soon as possible. We have been using wishnet since the last 5 years and are very disappointed for such not recoeving any response against our problem. If this continues we may have to change our internet service.

              I tried connecting wishnet customer care no. Multiple times since last 5days. But the customer support executives are not receiving calls or taking any kind of complaints. Internet connection is not available since last 5days.3days back i had a talk with one executive and docket was raised. But after that also no initiative was taken by the customer care executives for resolving the issue.

              Kindly help me out. Everyone has to do work from home now, and we have to depend on this broadband lines.

                I am using wishnet for like 3years now and they started restricting some of the ports. I was bearable as they didnot block most popular ports and now they blocked most of the port. I do stream and play videogames and this port blocking is making it so hard to do . When i asked them to solve this issue they said that i need to take live ip ie i have to pay like 3 times the money i currently pay. No other internet service provider does this thing. Many people dnt even know that they are being restricted in using the net. This is very poor service from wish which i didn't expect. Most of the complaints in this site and other sites regarding wishnet is due to port blocking and they dnt even resolved this issue.

                I mean seriously which ISP ever asks for extra money just to change the NAT type from Strict to Moderate or Open. Wishnet is just fooling people by marketing the "100 Mbps" speed as a bait.

                Don't rely much on the Speedtest.net results as most of the Tier 2 or Tier 3 ISPs don't configure their Speedtest cache on their servers, so there may be cases that Speedtest might be showing way less speed than what you're subscribed to.
                I would suggest you to manually download any file and check the speed.

                  I have been a wishnet user for over 5 years now, recently i discovered i am getting nat type strict which playing online games on my computer. I had to forward some ports by paying extra and the issue was solved for just 1 game. Now wishnet is asking me to change to biz plan. This is absolutely extortion of money. Something like this should not be chargeable. Very poor experience. Everyone should be aware of such extortion the isps do in kolkata.

                    I have been using wishnet broadband services for more than 4 years now. Recently they have started blocking ports and putting the nat type to strict which results in me not being able to use a lot of online services. When i talked to the customer care, instead of solving my problem they asked me to pay extra money in order to unblock ports.
                    This is ridiculous, no other broadband service use this kind of methods to make customers pay extra for such a basic necessity.
                    If wishnet does not fix this problem i'll be forced to take it up with the consumer court.

                    Whenever I've tried calling them about this issue they have hung up on me or asked me to pay extra for unrestricted access to internet.
                    They won't take responsibility for this.
                    They just want more money from their consumers.

                      I've been using wishnet for almost 6 months and my main purpose is gaming. However yesterday i came across an issue of blocked ports and strict nat type in my connection. Upon calling the customer service, i am told to contact my local provider for opening the ports and i am not given any further information about the cost and charges and the process. However, when i contact the local provider they are talking about corporate packages and all which i am unable to understand coz why would i need to have a different package to even open ports of the connection that i have? No other friend of mine ever had an issue with their particular isps blocking ports! So ultimately my problem is not getting solved no matter where i call! And now i am desperate and sad! I hope to get a response on the issue asap or i might have to think of switching.

                        I am using your connection for 5 months. When i took the connection it was really fine and gave me 11 mbps download speed. But after 3 months i am not getting atleast 1 mbps download speed. When i tried to download games from "steam" the download speed stay in between 300kbps and then 0bps and stop downloading.in fact it takes much time to play a 1080p youtube video. I need a
                        Answer to this problem what is really happened after 3 months. Using those three months i recommended all of my friend who want to take connection must use wishnet because it is a high speed internet but know it gives me speed like 2g. What i try to download i only get 100-200kbps and it takes long time to download and sometimes it stops downloading. I will be very greatful if you look into this matter.

                          I am using wish net connection more than one year. From last two month, i am very much disappointed regarding your service. First thing is
                          Every day, i noticed that the connection are not available more 6-7 hours with a remarks in the site i. E. "timed out", "host destination unreachable" or "transmission failed general failure". And second thing, From last week I not able to accesst internet due to speed issue, the speed is very low. I contact so many time to there office, over the call, They are just going to take the time of day, last two days ago they told "give me two days, I will solve your problem within two days." But Today is the last day and at the last moment they inform they will need more time.

                          My question is that why the problem is persisting despite of several visit of your technician. I think nobody is taking the matter seriously or it may be a corporate culture that after getting the monthly as subscription from the customer, you absolve all of your responsibilities towards providing a minimum service to the customer. I again request you, please sort-out the matter in today, i can't give more time. otherwise i have no option other than to escalate the matter to the proper forum.

                              My internet speed had been around 1.5 mbps while surfing youtube and more while downloading for past 3 months. Now it is back to 500 kbps. I have not changed the pack since i got the connection. Why is this happening. My service provider is not giving me satisfying reply. My id is suryasekhar_kb. Registered number is [protected].                                 I am a customer of Wishnet Broadband Internet Service Provider. I have been facing internet connectivity problems on a regular basis. I have been informing the customer care of Wishnet also as been informed to report if there happens to be any sort of problem. whenever I called they just asked me to ping 172.16.0.1 –t and after that, they create one docket for my issue. I face this problem on a regular basis. But as of now, I did not get any permanent solution to my problem.
                                Never expected this kind of service from fishnet. Such a poor service.

                                  Been a wishnet user for 3yrs now,

                                  I posted this very complaint once and now my NAT Type is strict again.

                                  As a web developer, a Game Designer and developer this means that i can neither host websites nor i can properly test my games unless i pay extra for it on top of the monthly package im already paying for. Upon contacting wishnet customer support and asking about the issue i was told to contact lco (Local cable operator) and pay extra just to forward necessary ports, this is the first time Im hearing this and its outrageous because no other isp does this.For Hosting servers and websites I can understand but for gaming this is too much.

                                  If this goes on further i will be forced to seek help from consumer court, they are basically restricting access to internet.

                                  Not only that they are forcing users to take their so called BIZ plans even after they have paid for their monthly plans, According to them there is no other fix to this other than taking those plans.which is again limiting than other plans

                                  Their website doesnt mention it anywhere about NAT types or anything, making it a completely false advertisement which is a punishable offense

                                    I am been having bad internet service for the last one month but no one is providing a proper solution... Everytime i call the toll free no they say that they are looking into the matter but i am not getting any solution... I registered more than 20 complaints in the last one month but nothing happened..

                                    Main problems :

                                    Ping loss even at idle..
                                    20 request timeouts at every 1000 replies (2% loss)
                                    This usually happens at the peek hours everyday (8pm to 1am) when the traffic is very high...

                                        From Last 8 days my sign in page isn't opening, i koled several times to customer care no. But they only know 2 things 1st how to fool customers 2nd just passing time in office with collegues from 10am to 8pm, they ask me to contact local agent nd ask him to diable 1 pack coz 2 packs were activate but when i contacted local he said another thing he came did something with wires then asked me to check it was okk for a time being but then again same problem just tell me whome should i ask to fix it coz n a student of Media studies i need proper internet thats why i m relying on Wifi if i had to use my phone connection for everything why i am paying every month for Wireless connection, nd i[censored] can't properly treat ur customers then plez plez plez don't fool people by Doing Advertisments spending Millions nd can't even spend a penny to have some Good Human Resource Management team for ur customers who rely on things from ur service nd u are not even providing them properly, Just tell me what should be done to get it fix properly nd i[censored] guys cant then... TY VM for ur great (So-Called) Services.
