Xiaomi India — Fingerprint sensor is not working at all from the first day i received redmi note 3 mobile phone

I had ordered a red me note 3 mobile phone from flipkart on 3rd october and the order id is od[protected]. when i switched on the mobile phone the fingreprint sensor is not working at all.
On 6th of october i raised the complain to replace my phone and now the flipkart customer care is stating that a technician will visit my place. i want a new phone.
