Xiaomi India — received defective product, now denied to replace product | |||
Hi there, I have purchased mi 4x 49" tv from amazon. (Please see attached bill) I have received that box product, so for installation i contacted to mi. Service engineer came to my home on 12th jan. 2020 for installation. But while unboxing by service engineer, he got to know that this product has manufacturing defect. There is gap between plastic body and screen. (Please see attached video) So i put request to amazon for replacement, but they said that they have only 10 days replacement warranty and the last day of replacement was 9th jan. 2020. And tv unbox on 12th jan 2020, so they suggested me to contact mi because it's manufacturing defect. Hence mi is responsible for replacement of product. The service engineer came to fit tv he also suggested and raised the ticket to mi and said it will get replaced in coming 7 days but now they are saying it won't happen asap and i have to wait more...
