Xiaomi India — Warranty Not being honoured by the Company/Service Centre | |||
I had purchased Xiomi 1S through Flipkart in November 2014. Yesterday suddenly, the Screen of the mobile stopped working. Searched for the Service Centre at Janakpuri (Unit No. G-5 (II) A, Shop No. 5/126-127, Janak Place, Distt. Centre, Janakpuri, New Delhi) & the experience therto was horrifying as the search on Google Maps doesnt work & the number therein [protected] was not picked up by anyone for almost 45 minutes at about 2 pm today. After this 45 minutes of horrendous experience, did manage to reach the place some how & gave the mobile for repair. Received a call from the Centre at about 7:15 pm that the Connector of the mobile internal part was burnt out & needed replacement as the same was not covered under warranty. The charges of the same would be Board replacement - 3980/- + ...& hence I told them to just box up the mobile & return to me as how the hell was an internal damage not covered in Warranty?
