[Resolved] Xolo Mobiles — Faced problem due to manufacturing defect in handset model Q 700 IMEI: [protected] | |
Dear Sir
I have purchased Xolo Q700 last year, within few months o[censored]sage I noticed that battery has swollen, I visited twice or thrice to the nearest service center which is 150 kms from my place for replacement of battery.
But battery was not available in the service center. Then I have also called many times service center‘s and got the same reply. The numbers and email ids of xolo care were also not accessible that time.
Then I found that maximum handsets of same model are having swollen battery problem. Which means it’s a manufacturing defect in the handset.
On May 11, 2014 I have complained by sending e-mail to [protected]@xolo.in and they informed me that they have escalated my issue to the higher authorities.
In the meanwhile I was using the same handset and its battery’s backup was totally decreased suddenly its jumps down from 62 % to 12 %
oneday I connected my phone for charging and found that within 10 mins it was heated and the size of the battery expanded to the double of its original size. It was near to explode due to expansion in size of the battery it exerted pressure on the screen due to which touch screen is also cracked now.
I had a long conversation with xolo care between 11th May 2014 to 19 May 2014. But no resolution has been provided to me.
After more than one weeks email conversation I have received this message from xolo care
Thank you for your Email.
As per the company policy, swollen battery will be considered out of warranty so you need to pay the charges for the same. We would request you to please co-ordinate with the service centre team for the same. ……………………………………………………………………�...⇄
I am totally not satisfied with the service of the xolocare.
Because it is due to manufacturing defect and battery was not available in the service center and the xolo care’s mail id’s and toll free numbers were not also working that time.
then i have approached national consumer helpline, they have provided me mailing address of Customer Service Head, Xolo Mobile. I have written a letter to him also and requested him to look into the issue and i have tracked my speed post it was delivered on 26th may 2014. but till date there is no reply from the consumer service head
as i am suffering a lot due to xolo's service from last so many months .
i would like to request you to replace my handset or return my hard earned money.
