Yamaha Motor India — Bluetooth device- battery drain

Address: pondicherry

I gave my bike(fz-x) for service with a battery issue on my third free service (oct 20) (battery was dead and unable to start with self-start, I had to push my vehicle to start it) while delivery I was told that they had charged the battery and in case if the problem arises again they asked me to come and rectify the issue (while delivery they removed my Bluetooth device connection from my bike without informing me) I noticed it after 2 days as my phone didn't connect to my bike I opened the seat to repair my phone with Bluetooth and noticed that they have removed it so I connected it back and after connecting the Bluetooth device after two days (oct 27) same issue happened since it was raining I went to service place the next day and informed that the same problem is occurring I was enquired on where I bought the bike how far I have drove the bike and when I bought my bike I gave all the details and the guy told me that he will try and replace the battery for free but asked for my RC book, unfortunately, it was in Chennai so I informed him that I will bring it in Monday he told me ok but don't delay.

Since I wasn't able to come on Monday (Nov 7th) I asked my uncle to go with RC book on Monday to replace the battery in AMS Motors, they replaced a battery (not sure if it's a new one or old now) and on Nov 15 I had the same issue even after the replaced battery. Today(Dec 5th) I went to the service place and they charged my battery again and asked me to check for one more week and come again if I have the issue by removing the Bluetooth device. I told them I use Bluetooth regularly and asked them to connect it again and they connected it back and asked me to check for a week.

I want a solution for the issue as I can see there is a problem with the Bluetooth device in Yamaha models.

I have the same battery draining issue too. I did the same thing at my 3rd service and replaced the old battery with the new one by claiming warranty. Now after few months (New battery changed at July-2022) I have the same starting problem. When the bike is not used for a day, self doesn't work, and I have to push start it.
If Yamaha Motors could say what the real problem is, we could at least try and fix the issue with the local mechanics and the showroom service have no clue how to resolve them.
All they say (showroom service) is "this is a common problem with all the FZ models". Isn't that very upsetting to hear we pay a lot of money to get the bike and getting laughed at everyday push starting it.
I hope Yamaha sees this
I have a Yamaha mt15 bike and is regularly facing battery drain issues after studies it was found out that it was all due to Bluetooth device of Yamaha. I am requesting fast recall of all yamaha mt15v2 and free replacement of this faulty equipment. Also I am going forward with a complaint in consumer court. The service centre will force you to remove the equipment, but remember you paid a lot more just for this Bluetooth connectivity
