I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the recent experience I have had with my Yamaha Fascino BS6 Yellow scooter, purchased from S V Motors Kayamkulam in 2020-21.

I have been a loyal customer, diligently servicing my vehicle at Daiwik Yamaha Karunagappally, following their recommendations for oil changes and maintenance. However, one week ago, my scooter began exhibiting alarming signs of engine trouble, specifically a loud noise during startup.
Concerned about the issue, I promptly visited Daiwik Yamaha Karunagappally for service, only to be informed that my engine had lost its bearing. The estimated repair cost was quoted at more than Rs 12, 000, and I was informed that it would take over a month for the necessary spare parts to arrive in Kerala.
To my dismay, today, January 22, 2024, I received a call from the service center stating that my engine's piston has been damaged due to a lack of oil. This is baffling, considering I have diligently followed the recommended service schedule and oil change intervals provided by the Yamaha showroom.
What adds to my disappointment is the lack of responsiveness and transparency from both the showroom and the mechanics when I tried to discuss the issue. They seem unwilling to address my concerns or provide clear explanations for the sudden and severe engine damage.
To make matters worse, I have already paid an advance of Rs 3, 000 for the replacement of the engine bearing. This entire ordeal has not only resulted in a significant waste of my time but has also incurred substantial financial losses.
I urge Yamaha to investigate this matter thoroughly and provide a satisfactory resolution at the earliest. I have been a loyal Yamaha customer, and this experience has left me questioning the reliability and quality of your products and services.
Please advise on the steps I should take to address this issue promptly and seek compensation for the inconvenience and financial burden caused by this unexpected and seemingly avoidable situation.
