[Resolved]  Yatra.com — Fraudulent & misleading, and later on just harassment

I contacted Yatra.com on 15feb for a package to Malaysia for 2 and made the payment of Rs 70001 via credit card.
Reference NO.# S677336 | Mr. Tarun Gupta x 02 pax | Malaysia package | 25 Feb.

Now here starts the complete Fraud:
1. I asked for 26 t0 2March, but i got an email for 25 Feb to 2March, 2014. Later on they said its a mistake and this is 25 Feb to 1 march.
2. I was asked made the payment of 70000 (By Sidhant) and he told me send the scan copies of Passport.
I did the same an after payment, I was told that their representative from Bangalore office will come to pick my documents for further processing and no action is required from my end.

Now today on 16 Feb, I was called by Narmata to confirm the same and later i was told that i need to send my documents by Cargo by today only (On Sunday) at my own cost. But they themselves were confused wether to send my documents to Delhi or chennai. later on, I talked to Narmata regarding cost for courier and brought YOUSUF in call and i dont know what that guy was. He talked so badly and said that it is not their responsibility and even I send my documents and if visa would not processed on time then I have to bear the cost and they dont care about this. Why he was threatening my, I still dont know if he was a gangster or whatever he was??

Now I m so fed up going here and there and still dont know what to do. I am raising this issue with 24 hours on this site to ensure that they dont harm me any more. I need my full return along with the apology letter from them.

Yatra team please do not cheat people to make money everytime... It was my first anniversery and you have made it like a hell. If dont get the resolution by 17th, Feb i will either file a criminal case for fradulent activities and harassment.

Below is the last email that I sent to Yatra after talking to Narmata as she has accepted that this is Yatra's fault and i should not bear any cost.

Since I was misinformed about the package completely and it seems that this is not going to be feasible for you people to do the formalities on time.

I was told earlier by Sidhant that I need to make the payment then someone from Bangalore team will pick my documents. Now today at 2 o'clock I was told that i need to send my documents by Cargo and i will have to bear the cost.

I checked with the Cargo companies and they are going to charge me around 3000rs and afterwards, I have to go to airport to give the package which is not feasible as I have to travel almost 3 hours to reach to the airport.

So I am not sure why I was misguided to take the money out of the pocket even when the package was not feasible as on the decided dates.

Now I can only give my documents to the Bangalore office at the max if required and will not be responsible if anything goes wrong from your end.

I NEED MY FULL REFUND OF Rs 70001 + 2% credit card (If any was deducted from my account) or else I have to take the court route to recover my account as this is not just a misguiding but a fraudulent & harassment case.

Now do let me know your further action by tomorrow Monday (17 Feb) at max or else I will take the steps from my end by registering this case and which will hurt the creditability of Yatra.com as well. Since, I will go for a full case via Lawyer, to recover above mentioned amount along with Harrasment charges as I have been bouncing from one place to another since morning(16 Feb, 2014). Package confirmation date for 15th Feb, 2014.

Presales I talked to Sidhant and post sales – Narmata & Yousuf (This guy is too arrogant and does not know how to talk the customer.)

Narmata, as you have assured that you will try to get the full refund for this case as even you have agreed over the call that there was a mistake from Yatra.com not from the customer side.

Issue have been resolved now. Since, after contacting Consumer Complaint website, i received my passport and my trip went smooth. There are no further concerns and it's all close. Thanks Yatra for looking into this and Consumer Complaint team for effective support as always.

I had a word with ANOOP and he promised that VISA work will be done by Friday.
