I am S N Panigrahi. I had booked Online, Bina Resort through Yatra.com for stay from 23rd to 26th June 2022 at Nainital by paying Rs. 11227/-(Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Seven only) - Booking Reference Number[protected] and hotel Confirmation Number YAT[protected] for Stay in Nainital. However, We Couldn’t Trace out the Hotel – The Address Provided by Yatra.com is Not Complete & Incorrect. The Contact Details Provided are Not Working. Even Yatra.com Customer Support was also Not Responded. This Looks like a Clear Fraud Case, Cheating the Public. As a Result, Entire Purpose of Tour Travel Disturbed and all the Amounts Spend for the Purpose is Wasted and created Great Inconvenience and Mental Agony.
After confirmation Yatra.com had provided me the phone number of the Bina Resort as [protected] however the number is not reachable & not Working.
From the internet I had searched for other numbers of the resort: [protected] and [protected] but these numbers are also not correct.
I had tried Yatra.com, Customer Support Number[protected], but that is giving an auto Voice Message saying No Customer Service Providers are Available because of Covid and Directed to Contact [protected]@yatra.com.
I had also sent several E-mail Messages to Yatra.com Customer Support mail ID [protected]@yatra.com.
From this Mail ID, I Received an auto generated message saying that Someone from Yatra.com shall contact me. But no one Contacted me, despite repeated follow-ups & Messaging.
I Couldn't Trace out the Hotel with the Address Provided by the Yatra.com & Not Even able to Contact the Hotel through the Number Provided by Yatra.com. They also did not respond to my Complaints.
Also, the Hotel - Bina Resort looks like a Fraud & Non-existing and the Resort could not be traced out with the Address Provided by Yatra.com and even Locals nearby the Address Provided by Yatra.com told that there is no such Hotel in that Locality.
Under these circumstances of misfortune created by Yatra, com, I along with my Family faced stressful trauma, disturbing distresses, ordeal sufferings, pain of searching alternative arrangements for stay & accommodation in the Peak of Touring Season by moving around & finding some suitable alternative hotel for stay.
When, a Person Travelling with his Family to Nainital like Tourist Destinations, with prior booking arrangements for Travel & Stay Accommodation, after spending a lot of money, expects a peaceful Travel Experience and try to Enjoy, Relax and Entertain with the Family.
However, this Bitter Experience faced because of Yatra.com & their intentional misdeed and Malafide Intention of providing Wrong Address & Non-Traceable Hotel Provision, and more regrettably Non-Attending & Non-Responding to my Calls & Queries, resulted in spoilage of Entire my Tour Program with Family and created a lot of Anguish, Sufferings, Pain & Loss of Peace of Mind apart from Spending Money.
Generally, such Travel scheduled for Two or Three Days. If one day out of this limited time frame loses, then Entire Tour Program Disturbs and money spend on such Travel wastes. Because of Yatra.com, My & My Family Wasted a Full Day in Searching the Hotel & making Alternative Arrangements. As a Result, Entire Purpose of Tour Travel Disturbed and all the Amounts Spend for the Purpose is Wasted and created Great Inconvenience and Mental Agony.
Despite my Several Complaints, it is very unfortunate that no one contacted me.
Though I received replies only to a few of my E-mails, the Responses are not Satisfactory. Though in such Replies Yatra.com Admitted, Confessed & Acknowledged that such Blunder Mistake happened from their side and Apologized, but simply Expressing “Apologize for the inconvenience caused” doesn’t resolve the matter. Yatra.com informing that the Refund is Processed, but No Fund Received. Also Not Received Consequential Damages. In one of the Message Yatra.com agreed to Compensate a Meagre amount of Rs 1, 000.
Even almost Two Month later also, the Refund Amount & other Claims are Not Yet Received. Sending the Mails saying the Refund is under Process and further delaying is not a Solution to the Situation. This Indicates Intentional Attitude of Delaying & Simply Dragging the Matter further.
Despite my repeated follow-ups, the replies are very casual, unintended, pre-recorded or prepared, stereotyped without addressing my specific complaints.
This type of irresponsible attitude is not Expected from Yatra.com
This is a Clear Case of Cheating the Public with Malicious Intentions & Looting the Money. Not only we Suffered, but we also understood that there are many other Pilgrims are becoming Puppets in the Cheating Web of Yatra.com.
