[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — cheated me on refund by giving false information and delaying purposely | |||
this is to inform you that i had made booking on 10th feb 2019 from chennai to delhi for the travel date on 12th feb 9.55 am air india. I had cancelled this booking through airline since travel time is less than 7 hours. And the airline said it is of full refund. Regarding refund, i need to contact yatra. So immediately i contacted yatra for initiating refund, yatra said it is no no show and they havent got any remark from air india. So i had made a con call with the airline and yatra. And the airline said directly to yatra that they had initiated for refund and asked yatra to proceed for refund. And yatra had accepted for initiating for refund and aske me to wait for 45 working days. All of a sudden i received an email on march 2nd from yatra stating that i need to submit the valid id proof ticket copy and few documents for initiating the refund since air india airline is asking for the same.. So i immediately called yatra regarding this mail, and they said without documents they could not able to initiate the refund. I argued with yatra executive that on 12th feb this was not conveyed to me but they simply said, without documents they could not proceed for refund. And to confirm this i called up airindia and raised question regarding this. But airline told me clearly that, they havent asked those information since this booking was cancelled completely and initiated for refund and i need to follow it up with the yatra only. So again i called up yatra regarding this and spoke to your executive and share the conversation i had with airline, she put me on hold and came back and said that "the mail which was sent on march 2nd is by mistake and asked me to ignore it and i will be getting the refund in 40 to 45 working days. And since it was delaying i called up yatra again in last week regarding the refund status and she told refund has been initiated and i will be getting the refund in another 4 to 5 working days. Today 26th march i called up yatra regarding the refund. And the executive who spoke to me stated that once after sending the documents only they can able to initiate the refund it seems... I am shocked hearing this... How this could be said.. I was having a long conversations with the executive for past 2 months. They have said i will be getting the refund in 4 to 5 working days. And today one of your executive is saying that i need to reply to the mail wic was sent on march 2nd. And i argued with him what about the conversation which i had with the executives for past 2 months. And the female who asked me to ignore the email which was sent on march 2nd.. He replied me that" pl apologise for the inconvenience caused & said whe must have given you wrong information and without knowing she would have given those information. I totally fed up with the behaviour of the entire yatra team. Is this the way you people handle the customers. Kindly check in how many booking i had done with yatra. And for each and every time for the refund i used to argue with the executive and then i will be getting it. But this time they have cheated me a lot.. Stating that the entire conversation was not mentioned in the remark and they must have given that information by mistake. How could a customer care executive can given a false information to a customer for 2 months and the other executive is simply saying that it might be given wrongly. You people have purposely cheated me and planning to drag even more time to drag my refund. I need the concern person to check the recorded conversation with i had with the executive for past 2 months regarding this refund. I need a proper reply after checking the recorded version and take necesarry action against the executives and i need the refund the same immediately. I am sending an legal complaint against this refund who cheated me and given false information and fake commitments and giving lethargic reply. All the conversation are recorded. I need those recorded version to be handedover to me for giving evidence. I wasted my time energy only for getting this refund...
