[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — Singapore holiday package booked for parents plus one more couple | |||||
I was under discussion with various travel portals for a 6n/7d singapore trip for 2 couples. Yatra too qouted for the package and i was being serviced by mr. Abhishek mittal (Yatra representative - [protected]). We were under discussion for more than a week, but yatra was not able to match the lowest quote i received from another travel agent. But last evening i. E. 02.06.2017, i got a "bumper sale singapore deal" from yatra under which the i was getting the price i wanted along with "inr 9, 000 e cash + inr 18, 000/- future travel voucher (Validity 1 years for international trip only)." The representative called me and said, "ram sir this is a great offer and it is only valid only till today". The entire itinerary was as per my requirement and within my budget along with additional benefits as stated above". Immediately after discussing about the offer with my family, i paid an online advance payment of rs. 40, 000. To my surprise, i get another email today i. E. 03.06.2017, wherein the same package is sent to me with higher prices and reduced/changed additional benefits. This is totally anunethical business practice, how can you change the prices the very next day after receiving the advance payment. Also, how can you alter or change on the benefits provided. I want my trip at the same price and with the same conditions i booked for. My yatra booking reference number is yh3417276. I have experienced worst service with yatra.com for my recent travel. not only discomfort, financial loss, we also felt humiliated and disrespected while travelling.
1- we booked online flights of jetairways on yatra.com but no where in our yatra e-ticket it was mentioned to be etihad flight. we tried web-checkin which didnt work. we called customer care and they couldnt clarify the reason and had no clue. They said web-check in will not work on this PNR and you can checkin only at airport. ( didnt mentioned its going to be etihad flight )
2- when we reached jet counter on airport ( 2nd May ), we were informed about etihad flight. we came prepared with weight concept of jet baggage however we were charged for extra baggage. ( Approx 12k )
3- to ensure we do not get charged extra we went one day prior to check flight on zurich airport. suprisingly no body was available there from either etihad or jet airways or yatra customer care to clarify. ( 10th may )
4- Me and my wife are pure vegetarian, as the web-checkin was not working we had to travel for 16 hours flight with no food :-(
5- we reached zurich airport on 11th may for our return flight, we were asked to pay double baggage charge as we were suppose to take connecting flight using jet ( charged 18k ) for extra luggage. Floor manager was extremely rude and didnt help us at all.
we look forward to hear from you on all these feedback and what was expected from us in this scenario. needless to say we will not be using yatra again if we dont hear from you... at least make my trip does not cheat customer like you guys do !!!
Also, we are filing legal complaint against you for this cheating and fine charged inappropriately.
