Hello Team,
I was joined in one of IT company, that company opened YES bank as my salary account in 2015, i worked there for 1 year and after that I left that job because of study reason. J am not using that a/c from 1 year. And now i.e.after 1 year It is showing negative balance of more than 5, 000.
Please help me in closing the account.

According to new RBI guidelines banks are not supposed to penalise for dormant accounts but when i contacted the customer care they are refraining from closing it saying i have to fill the fine.
Where should i approach now. Please help.

    Demat Account

    I was asked by yes bank employee that charges for demat will be 1725 for year having 4lakh limit, upto 4 lakh no charges and i am opening new account so half charges will be deducted and 1st year AMC will be free.

    But 1725 has been deducted from my account and AMC of 550 also.

    When we ask bank people they only say we are doing.

    From past 1 month i am chasing these people.

    As on yesterday yes bank debited 149 rs from my saving account number [protected] under the reference debit card charges.

    Let me very fluently write this its actully not like debit card its only an atm card. I can only use this for money withrow from atm but no kind of any transactions were happend with pos (Point of sell) which is system at various mall.

    I used this @reliance mall, aurangabad
    @prozone mall, aurangabad
    @dmart, pune
    @bigbazar, nasik

    But this just sucks all time and my payment got failure this is very worst experience with india's big banking firm.

    And one more thing in my town kannad, aurangabad none a single atm machine under name of yesbank flags so under which crieteria yesbank debited service tax of 22 rs from my account.

    I want refund because this is totally wrong i means urs atmcard not working at any pos local, mall and no single services provided by you so why should i pay service tax of 22rs & 149rs of debitcard charges i paid you.

    Give me my debited amont back to my saving account or else give me clarification on that

      I got my salary account in YES Bank from my first employer on Mar 2013 and I have resigned from that employer on May 2014. I did not use that account after that for any kind of transactions. During the time of account opening there was no such requirement on minimal balance, however the bank all of a sudden charging me for the same which resulted in negative balance around 5K. When a person is not using an bank account for more than 3 years, why should the bank retain that account and burden their customer with this kind of irritating charges? I do not wish to pay this amount when there is no fault from my end and I need YES Bank to deactivate my account immediately.

        Please note that i applied for yes bank credit card and got reference no :[protected]. I got all verification done at my office and residence too. I got multiple calls at office too for verification.

        Today got checked in yes bank link showing track your card application. Found the reason as follows.

        Who called us for credit card and we never gone to yes bank for the same. Hema, executive called and we given all papers and verification also done positively.

        I called customer care and they are not giving any reason for rejection. As per rbi guideline circular no - rbi/[protected]/100 bod. Fsd. Bc.23/24.01.011/2008-09 dated[protected]. Hdfc bank should give us reason or else we also file complaint in rbi and bank ombudsman.

        We want reason for rejection as it will hit my cibil. My cibil was all clear and i got home loan too on same address. If we will not find reason for rejection, we will file case in consumer court. It is my dignity which got effected and i am fully made up my mind for filing legal case against hdfc. I never had any credit card or liabilities from any bank in the past.

        Please provide reason or else i will file case in consumer court.

        Please suggest me what is next process. And where exactly my application got disapproved.

          Issue with my account in mumbai.
          I had sallary account in yes bank, mumbai.
          I stopped using it because i left my job and nothing i can do with that account without any money. Now when i called customer care they are asking me to pay the money rs 1500 to continue or close the account.
          Also, i have been getting sms with negative balance of rs 1500.
          Can some one please help me to resolve this issue. I am happy if you close my account. I don't even want to pay any extra money.

            They opened my nre account 1.5 year ago, when i was in usa and account was not activated they are charging low balance fees on it since then.
            They are not taking any actions on complaints just procrastinating things. I visited branch during last visit to india but they said they will waive fees and activate it but nothing happened yet. I lodged complaint on yes bank's customer support i received call from the personal at respective branch they pushed me that your problem will be resolved in 1-2 days so close your complain i did so but nothing moved.

            I just want to close this account and waiving full fees.

              As i got late for 1 day due to some personal problem and could not able to fulfill my mli target for this month though last three months i had got award for being a top performer in mli,, our respected sir from ballygunge branch forced me to put resignation.. Is this the way to behave with junior executive,, being a bbl he should have some common sense that it would affect my career

                Also, i have been getting sms with negative balance of rs 7000.

                  Horrible! When i say, “horrible, ” i mean horrible!!! Today i write this letter in sadness, anger, and frustration. I visited minimum 10 times of yes bank branches and was turned off by the absolute appalling service. I waited for an new debit card for almost 4 month which seems to be ready within 7 working days, who seemed to be wondering what was happening. My anxiety was at a peak. My patience was at a low. After speaking with a branch manager i was basically told to: suck it up, this is the future.

                  If i don't see more time for that dog # debit card would not be reached on my address, those who says it take 7 working days for debit card & cheque book i would like to tell you guys stop doing fake promise, after 4 month i got an blocked debit card and then visited for unblock the card on 15. June still card is not unblock same this happing with cheque book still not received as i have been applied on april 2017 service as bad as this is!! I will be sharing my frustration online and personally with as many people as i can, just to get support for this matter or avoid from banking with this yes bank.

                    Dear sir,

                    I have yes bank account with minimum balance of 10000rs.
                    However i have not maintained the minimum balance for last three months.
                    When i was opening the account, it is mentioned that 750rs will be fined if the aqb is not maintained.
                    However now they have charged me about 2300rs. When i have checked with yes bank they explained that the rules changed from quarter to monthly basis.

                    I want to action against them. As the rbi has ruled that there should not be negative balance on any savings account.

                      Dear sir/ma'am,

                      I hold a yes bank first exclusive credit card which provides a privilege o[censored]nlimited domestic lounge access at domestic airport. I have been wrongfully charged usd 27 = inr 1765 towards a domestic lounge access at delhi on 23rd of march as per the statement on which i had visited the lounge all alone.

                      There is no escalation matrix and resolution team who engages with the customer, the matter is left for junior call centre people to handle. I had disputed the transaction to which i got a single line response after multiple follow up that it's legitimate transaction. There is no second level or third level escalation.

                      All i got to know is that the charge has been levied for taking some guest along with me that too on some prior date which is mid jan. I have always traveled alone, there hasn't been any guest with me. May be my card has been swiped twice.

                      I haven't been tendered any receipt towards this amount, else i wouldn't have availed the service knowingly. The charge in usd dollar has been levied on a retrospective basis as per them which again is technically wrong. I have given them enough business (About 1.5 lac) in a very short time frame and didn't expect such cheating from them.

                      Please help in taking the matter with appropriate people and resolving the issue. Please get in touch with me to get more details..

                        I have a negative charge of Rs 6000/- in my bank account.which was my salary account.I have stopped using the account since 2014..I don't understand why the negative charge be applied every month to my yes bank account..I spoke to the customer care of Yes Bank, they advised me to reach Bank and pay the amount..Please help me out.

                          would like to bring to time notice of the online transaction safety with Yes Bank was debited 80 k even though there was a error screen shot appended all efferorts to investigate the matter with aYes bank were futile am in the process to submit detailed transaction communication with via postal registered as Yes bank does not seem to be serious with omline errors

                            After continuous complaints about the misbehaviour of the verification officer, no action has been taken from the loan officer. He doesn't even bother to reply to my mails. Instead sent me so called automated replies saying he is on leave and will be back by 17th march. Seriously???

                            Paise kha kr loan dena hai to direct bolo na instead of harassing me and my relatives.

                                I'm Selvakandan, working in HCL Tech pvt ltd, Chennai. I have recently applied personal loan in YES bank. I have been working in IT industry more than 9 years and having good banking relationships so far. I had availed more than 4 personal loans from multiple banks like Axis, IDFC, Indusind, etc., But, I never had such a bad experience with any other banks like YES bank.
                                My personal Loan Application ref no# 323689.
                                This process has been going on for past three weeks. I have submitted almost all the possible and unwanted documnets as they forced.
                                Please find the list of the doccs below
                                1. Three months Payslips
                                2. Three months Bank statements
                                3. ID and address prrofs (license, PAN, VoterID, Office ID)
                                4. 10th Marksheet
                                5. 12th Marksheet
                                6. Degree Certificate
                                7. Last two months Gas bills
                                8. 6 signed cheque leaves
                                and so on..
                                I dont think any body can submit these many proofs.
                                The worst Part is, even after submitting all these docs, the loan has not yet been disbursed.
                                There were three house address verifications happened. Three persons came on different days and time for address verifications. Two of them gone green. One has mentioned that "I have vacated the house three months back". Its pretty embarrassing for me. If you people are not ready to give loan, please let the customer know clearly.
                                Please dont give us the mental torture. I dontg want to go thro all these before even availing the loan. Please check my CIBIL report and decide whether or not give me loan.
                                I never faced these trouble with any other banks. Please let me know the status soon. Its very annoying. Deeply disappointed.

                                  This ananth rao p, recently i have applied personal loan in yes bank, and i already have personal loan in HDFC bank with 14% rate. i want to close this one with yes bank as yes bank is giving loan for low interest i.e, 12%.
                                  my outstanding in hdfc was 1, 56, 000 and pre closure charges are 7, 000 total mentioned as 1, 63, 000.
                                  i requested for rs. 3, 00, 000.00 after deducting 1630000 the remaining amount should be credited in my account. but they have adjusted 1, 31, 153.00. that too no single call from yes bank to me. without any intimation (they should tell me know how much they are going to adjut in my account and how much they are deducting from the loan.)i called executive for to know what is actually happen.
                                  he asked for one day time. but till today no intimation when i tried to call him he is that no information received from main branch.
                                  is this the way u treat customer. i want reaming which are not adjusted in my account.
                                  they should intimate before adjusting in my account. if they intimated i may rejected for that amount. almost they have taken Rs.10, 000.00 in my loan amount. cheating the customer. i will complaint this in consumer too, if any delay.

                                    There are many incidents with customer service as well as head department which does not care for customer and provided all wrong information.

                                    #1. Bad behaviour while talking to customer service as they understand talking to customer is waste of time.

                                    #2. While i have first preferred card and having 4 complimentary priority offers in year which i have tried to get proper information while activating card as well as by email to utilize where everyone provided me different information and when i have asked priority lounge person replied clearly that with this yes bank card i will be charged only it goes beyond 4 even if it uses for guest where as yes bank has charged and when they have emailed me information nowhere it has mentioned that complimentary applies only for primary card member only.

                                    #3, when i tried to contacted third time on phone they have keep on hold and did not get any information where as they have charged me for guest even if complimentary was not beyond 4 limit.

                                    #4. Their management did not even understand customer did not fully made mistake and the mistake from all the side and did not accept their mistake.

                                    Request you to all indians never open an account or get any products from yes bank as their worst customer service experience.

                                    Please this was worst experience i have ever since from any bank, so it is better to stay always from any product provided by yes bank also do not trust on any member of customer service team or head management.

                                      I really have a very worst experience with yes bank while closure of my saving bank account no [protected] in the name of arun goel, as my home branch at delhi new rohtak road, and i filed my application in this branch 2 month ago, and also i cleared branch manager that i am not in situation of pay negative bal of account and i also not aware of this maintenance of account

                                      And i also give request of charges waiver to branch manager of branch but not any call from bank and not any come from backend.. And i call again and again in branch for confirming status of my request but no clear response given from their side and i did so many calls to the executive who assist me in this branch while closing the account, she said we checked sir and its in process, and i still got msgs of negative bal in my account by mobile banking, nothing facility was closed on the account. Plz if this site help me out in this so plz help me in this matter, i really want that rbi should take some step against such situation that come in front of the customer.. I realyy fed up from the bank services and behaviour of staff
