My account that was active till date was closed by the bank itself without any prior intimation. I have never heard of such thing before. I have my emi running and my salary gets credited there too how can they just close it without any notice to the customer. I can't express how frustrated I am.

My yes bank savings account was closed abruptly without any prior & clear intimation. When approached their customer care they informed me the account was closed due to few cheque bounces & they couldn't do anything further so they routed me to the branch and when I approached the branch people over there claim they did communicate with me but had no proof to prove.

The only communication I received was on Jun 24th 2021 (screenshot attached) & the email
only mentions that they noticed few cheque bounces & informed me to ensure there will be no more such instances occurring. Also, that they will monitor my account. The email no where mentions that the account would get closed for the above mentioned reason.

Further, there were no such instances on my account & the bounce was purely unintentional it was due to the job loss during the pandemic.

After I got a new job in the month of June my salary started getting credited in it & there were healthy transactions in my account. However, all of sudden I receive an SMS for account closure with charges and the account stands closed.

I have the following questions to Yes bank with respect to my case mentioned above:

1. Provide me the copy communication letter/email/SMS sent by Yes bank with respect to my account closure due to this activity

2. Provide me the agreement copy signed by me (as quoted by your bank employees I met at the branch on 17/09/2021) that says cheque bounces will lead to account closure

3. Why was there account closure charges on my account without my notice. I need the charges to be reversed

As solution here's what I am looking at:

If its the mistake from Bank's end that my account was closed abruptly without prior intimation or notice (with clear communication that says my account would get closed due to cheque bounces)
I need it to be reactivated with same account number asap.

    My question is this, Is it in Yesbank policy to calling card holder parents and use unparliamentary languages? If any medical issues come to old people, Yesbank bank is going to take responsibility?

    I am in direct contact with Yes Bank executives for resolution still this type of incident increase distrust in Bank's management and I believe Yes bank knows 1 unhappy customer makes other customers unhappy too.

    I have been facing such issue by YES Bank as well, and there are others that I know. However, bank doesn't give ears to your complaint. Not only this they legitimate the act of their recovery agent.

      Unable to access my own funds in NRE Account

      Dear Sir/Madam,
      I have NRE account with Yes Bank. my customer ID is : 3918926.
      I am not able to access my own funds which I have transferred from over seas where I work.
      However, I am not able to utilize my own funds to further transfer them via website or mobile app.
      All the beneficiaries are showing active.
      The amount I am transferring is also within the limits.
      However, for no reason I am unable...

      Transaction of Rs 6, 764.55 and Rs 2601 have been spent on my Yes Bank credit card from Paytm on 25th August, 2021. And it was done without me receiving any verification message like otp.

        Hello everyone,
        My name is Setul Mishra
        I've been a customer of Yes bank for quite a few years now, I never faced such an issue like this before.
        Due to covid i had incurred a lot of loss in business, i am still trying to recover from it. This guy called RAM Bharti (Not sure if it's bharti or marti, i have the entire call recording) from Mumbai sector 70 calls me for my credit card payment, i told him that I've already talked to so many people and told them that i am gonna do the payment by 25th August. Then he started talking thrash and started saying bad stuff. And he even told me when i asked who are you, he said TERA BAAP. This is the behaviour of an employee of YES BANK. I never knew that it's such a low standard cheap bank. Seriously, i am deeply saddened.

                Visited Branch and sent email follow up but no action has been taken instead they blocked my virtual debit card.

                when contacted getting response as excuse for Covid Pandemic

                I am afraid to continue banking with Yes Bank who has no customer support and cooperation, zero.

                they will reply typical rather then taking action or issuing debit card

                    myself Rafik Mankad, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, I have my auto loan in yes bank and I want change my EMI account for the next EMI to deduct from the new account, I have submitted a request on the 2nd July 2021 and my EMI date is 15th July 2021, I was requested and inform to Authority person for my account detail and I have also request for taking my EMI in advance so next EMI is not heated to my account and EMI not bounce but they have to give me trust for the bank account will be change and next EMI will deduct from the new account, then after I continued contact to customer care and trying to know my account update but till date, they are not giving me any update and now on the last date of 14th July 2021, they said me your old account is activated and EMI will bounce, i said "I am ready to advance EMI paid but bank don't have any system to accept my EMI and as per customer exucative's response they will take 48 days for the bank account change so it's mean my now 2 (Two) months Instalment will abounce and bank will charge on me ? why my installment will bounce, I have already given a request and informed to the bank and I am ready to pay EMI with my other bank account and online or by cheque so why I am bere this change and damage my goodwill with the bank and another market/business reputation. it is very bad service from the bank and employee are very ridiculous or egoistic attitude, they are helpless with bank system, in this world, all bank are work in online and this bank is working in 18th sadi's formality and process, there is no any system for the customer service and they don't know how can solve client problems, they only know one sentence "this service is not in our bank" its bank policy to handle a client's complain and his staff doing same.

                    I am never recommendable to yes bank for any banking service or other, this bank is a burden for India, I have damaged my goodwill and bare charges for the doing business with this bank,
                    i request to you please take action again to yes bank they are damage client's goodwill and taken fake charges from the client due to the bank service and system problems, they are not doing work on time and client will bare his charge? this is the 100% wrong activity in banking system,

                        I have been forced to purchase the credit card with explanations about the benefits even though I have denied and I have never used a single rupee from the card, also I have confirmed with yes bank agent that I can close the card anytime with no charges apart from annual charges. Now, I have received few statements through email stating I will have to pay some charges which I'm not aware of that and never informed me before receiving the card. I have been receiving calls everyday several times and emails stating I need to pay 356/- also they have mentioned collection agent might reach me out to collect the money.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I am a customer with Yes Bank Green Park Branch Green Park, New Delhi
                            My saving account number is [protected] in the name of Jinesh KUMAR Jain.
                            On 1st July I submitted an application with the bank to remit 20000/- US Dollar to my daughter Neha Jain at 10AM in the morning. It was her marriage anniversary gift.It had a sentimental value for me and for her also.
                            Today is 2nd July, the bank has still not remitted the Dollars. In the meanwhile dollar has appreciated a lot. Who is going to bear this loss ? Moreover my daughter could not receive her anniversary gift on time because of negligence on behalf of bank.

                            ON 21st of May I remitted 51000/- Us DOLLAR. BANK took the whole complete one day in remitting the funds and in the meanwhile dollar appreciated a lot and I had to bear the loss.The whole day they manipulate with the exchange rates and charge the customer highest rate.
                            Same thing happened on 3rd May
                            They never give the detail of exchange rate and commission charged by them.
                            You are requested to investigate the matter.

                              This is Macherla Naveen Kumar Goud. Due to Covid Effected i am unable to pay full amount . But regularly paying minimum Bill and recently paid Total amount.
