I supposedly have a 12mbps plan, the connection of which was provided after much follow up on May 23. Yet, I am getting a speed ranging from 0.01 mbps to 2.4 mbps, mostly hovering around 1.2 mbps. A speed of 8-9 mbps could have been understandable, how can 1 mbps be justified?
Even before installation, I had asked You's Gurgaon team to confirm if the speed will be fine and that if the speed is not good, You Broadband will have to refund me the money. First You's executive confirmed the speed on phone and then You's engineer, Narendra visited my house and showed me the cable and node right in front of it, claiming that my speed on instances will be even higher than 12mpbs.
Right now, the connection is much worse than the dongle which I use
Complaints to You's call center fail to provide any resolution. You's executive Jhamanesh, who had done the installation after many delays, refused to visit to set the issue right and disconnected the phone. I visited You's Gurgaon office on May 27 where a certain Mr Gopichand, who claimed to be the technical head assured me that he would get the issue sorted immediately. I have been following up with him consistently and leave aside setting the issue right, he has stopped answering the phone and has even blocked my number!!!
What sort of people is You hiring?
