      Zomato app has an issue which even uber and ola have resolved in their apps. I ordered a food item and I could see that default address was 30 kms away and I immediately went to change the address and app did not allow me. I had chat with zomato care and they could not resolve. Then I spoke to the restaurant and even offered that I can pay for additional delivery charge and they refused, then I had to cancel my order worth rs. 688.02 and reorder around my nearby location. My order no was [protected] dated 31-Jan-25, 9.50 pm. My phone [protected].

      I am sure nazeer would have given this to another customer :)

          Dear Zomato Support Team,
          I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with your service. I placed an order through Zomato on 21st Jan 2025 from my mobile application and my mobile number is xxxxxx, and while the order was accepted and confirmed, it was never delivered to me.
          Order Acceptance Without Delivery: I was surprised when my order was accepted, and I received a confirmation, only to later be informed that delivery could not be completed due to my location from the Domino’s Pizza of Talegaon Dabhade - 410 507 from Mobile number - [protected]. I find this highly frustrating, as the platform should ideally inform customers about delivery restrictions upfront, before accepting the order.
          Lack of Communication: There was no prior warning or notification about this delivery issue. I had to wait a considerable amount of time before realizing that the order would not be fulfilled. This lack of communication is unacceptable.
          Inconvenience Caused: The situation caused significant inconvenience, as I had made plans around the delivery time and was left without any food. It is extremely disappointing that your platform did not properly manage the location restrictions and failed to inform me in advance.
          Also, I am surprising if I am order to Zomato then, Why the Order Cancelled by the Domino’s Pizza of Talegaon Dabhade directly over the Phone Call.
          I am waiting for the positive response on this matter from the Zomato as well as Domino’s Pizza.

            I had ordered food on Zomato, but I received the wrong items in my order. I immediately raised a complaint with the Zomato team and provided images of the incorrect items as proof. Despite this, they are refusing to process a refund. I have sent them multiple emails regarding the issue, but they continue to deny my refund request. below are the details of the order

                  I am writing to express my concern regarding the termination of my delivery partner ID. I have been informed that my ID was deactivated due to a high number of cancellations. However, no one has tried to understand the reasons behind those cancellations, and I have not been given any clarity on this matter.

                  I want to clarify that the cancellations were not due to any mistake or fault on my part. Terminating my ID without a proper investigation or explanation feels unfair. I had joined Zomato with the hope of earning a living and supporting my needs, but this experience has been very disappointing.

                  I have also attempted to contact Zomato's CEO and the legal department earlier, but I did not receive any response or action. My ID has been deactivated for the past five days, and despite sending multiple emails, I have not received any reply.

                  If the issue cannot be resolved, I would appreciate it if you could clearly inform me so I can move on, knowing I wasted my time associating with this platform.

                  I kindly request you to review my case again and reactivate my ID. I hope Zomato can show that it values its delivery partners and resolves this issue fairly.

                    I ordered this from Pizza Hut through zomato and schedule later option was selected but there is a glitch in zomato app and zomato executive called me and told me that we are cancelling your order and will provide you with refund but they cancelled the order and did not refund the money. There is no support and no one is helping on it.

                      I wish to file a complaint against Zomato for charging separately for packaging in restaurant orders. This practice is unfair and misleading, as customers are not made aware of the additional cost upfront during the ordering process. Packaging should be included in the overall meal cost, not added as an extra charge at the end, causing confusion and frustration. Such charges are deceptive and violate consumer rights to transparent pricing under the Consumer Protection Act. I urge the concerned authorities to investigate and take action against this practice to protect consumers from hidden costs and ensure fair business practices.

The issue is that when I open the Delivery app, it shows 'Profile Verification Failed' and when I click on 'Submit again' button it leads to a blank page.                               I had placed my order number [protected] earlier this evening for 2 personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut Ballygunge, Rainer Park, Kolkata. However, as soon as I took the first bite of the pizza slice, I realized that the pizza was loaded with mayonnaise. When I looked further, I found that there was not a single ounce of cheese on the pizza. Both the pizzas were slathered with copious amounts of mayonnaise that looked like cheese. This made the pizza extremely sour. While placing the order through the Zomato app, nowhere was it mentioned that the pizzas would have mayonnaise instead of cheese. To make matters worse, I tried calling the Pizza Hut store to complain about the mayonnaise, their phone was switched off. I tried reaching out to Zomato customer service several times but with no resolution. Every time I uploaded the video, I was told by their customer support that they couldn't understand what the problem was. Unfortunately, while taking videos/photos, the mayonnaise looks very similar to cheese and therefore the fraud is harder to detect. There was no one reachable over the phone at Zomato to talk to and explain the fraud. A well-cooked cheese pizza has burnt spots on it with a thick string like texture. The ones they sent with mayonnaise was pristine white like a thin paste flowing over the edges.

                              This is misleading the consumer and committing consumer fraud. I paid money for a pizza with cheese and NOT for mayonnaise. Both Zomato and Pizza Hut are liable for defrauding consumers by feeding them mayonnaise instead of cheese on their pizzas !

                              This exact same fraud was committed through Zomato a month ago when I ordered pizza from Chicago Pizza Order no. [protected] for an amount of Rs 463. They defrauded the exact same way by using excess mayonnaise instead of cheese. As usual, Zomato's chat support was very unhelpful and there was no customer number available to call and explain this consumer fraud.

                              I demand that I be given a full refund of Rs 824 as soon as possible from Zomato. I also request that stern action be taken against these well-known reputable restaurants that are blatantly defrauding customers by serving cheaper ingredients for prepaid delivery orders. Pizzas are supposed to have cheese and not a cheap substitute of mayonnaise. Zomato should have a helpline to address these fraudulent issues.

                                        I am raising a complaint against Zomato for an incomplete order delivery. On 12th October 2024, I placed an order which included Paneer Butter Masala, 2 Laccha Parathas, and Lassi. However, the Paneer Butter Masala was not delivered. I immediately contacted the restaurant, but they did not respond to my calls. Despite reaching out to Zomato via email and providing all the necessary details (including attached photos and the bill), I have only received an automated response and no further action or reply has been made by Zomato to resolve this issue.

                                        Due to the absence of the main dish (Paneer Butter Masala), my meal was incomplete and it caused great disappointment, as I was unable to enjoy my food. I am requesting a full refund.
