I had ordered veg chickpea nuggets from firangi bake and I received chicken nuggets. And the zomato customer care person is not ready to acknowledge that it’s chicken. My parents are vegetarians and they ate a bite it thinking it’s veg and it was smelling so I tried it and it was chicken and all they do is say that we will give refund. I mean we are Hindus and my parents don’t eat non veg. They said they escalated the issue and only lies.

      Order no [protected] i ordered half plate chicken changezi from zomato biryani king restaurant they sent quater plater when i call restaurant they said to complain on zomato and zomato said restaurant owner say that i send him proper product by this zomato do not hear anything from my side even i just clicked photo and sed and i call restaurants just after seeing half but zomato don’t ready to hear and compensate they not redy to hear my problem restaurant send me quater plate pls help

        I had ordered mysore pak which is available in 2 variations (hard & soft). I ordered soft variant and got hard variant delivered. On speaking with zomato's call center team, they denied for any help saying the order which is delivered is correct. They don't have any image or description to support the argument.

              I ordered item from Meghna Foods on 18th Nov, which delivered delayed and I claimed against on time guarantee for delivery. As per that I should get 100% refund but got only 135rs. But I couldn't see that in anywhere to use in next time.
              For that reason I was continuously trying to contact through help within app but the auto chatbot says your claim is done. So there is no more option to further ask or clarify my query.
              Today when checked, it was saying your claim coupon already expired. If I am not able to see the amount in Zomato money/Wallet/ Coupon code section, how could I order and get the amount utilized.
              Its so disappointing. Looks like its a kind of fraud Zomato is doing to escape form keeping false promise.

                    Order No. [protected] which was placed for a 1 chicken bhuna wrap + 1 masala chicken tikka wrap at 1:30pm on payment of Rs. 275.24p was cancelled without reason after more than an hour and the money was forfeited.

                    The app had the complete address of the place where the food was to be delivered, . According to the chat history, the delivery partner came to the delivery spot but because he could not connect with me on phone, he cancelled the order i.e take the food with him and zomato decided to keep the monies despite the short delivery by the delivery partner.

                    The moment the message of cancellation was informed, i immediately spoke with the chat online help person but they refused to be of any help. The persons who were on chat were Rukhsaar, Zia, Amit and Sania. Despite repeated requests, Zomatos online persons refused to help as said that once the order is cancelled, the food cannot be delivered and the money will be forfeited.

                    Now what if i had not paid online for the food, what would they have done? The delivery partner would search heaven and hell and deliver.

                    Why did the delivery partner fail or refuse to deliver despite having complete address and a known address. The Building is on the main road, the unit number was written and so also complete building name.

                    This is just a cheating scam.

                    What took so long for the delvery partner to deliver, he didnt want to deliver. Wanted to cheat me and that is why he took so long.

                    Zomato is hand in gloves with these people and are actually facilitating this cheating and should be taken to task for their acfive participation and cheating clients. Shame on them.

                              I had rejected the order as the order was bought for delivery in damaged condition. The delivery person called customer support and finally took the order back. I had also received a call from +[protected], where the lady informed me that the amount will be refunded within 3-4 days. However, I have received a mail stating that the order was cancelled and there will not be any refund, and even on the app the order status is mentioned as rejected, but further status says no refund as I cancelled the order.

                              Also, there is no customer support to raise the issue. Please let me know how I can contact to get this resolved.

                              Hope you don't expect that customers should just keep quite and accept whatever is delivered as I do not see any support numbers nor email ID to contact any support and the app does not have any open other than to ask "Why was my order cancelled"

                                Hello Team,

                                I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I encountered while using the Zomato mobile application. They put big bold offers in their mobile application. I availed the buy 1 get 1 free offer for Ovenstory Pizza, selected one pizza, added it to the cart, and proceeded with the payment. However, I noticed an additional platform fee of Rs. 3, which, when questioned, Zomato attributed to government approval. Interestingly, I haven't observed a similar platform fee on Swiggy.

                                The main concern arose when I received only one pizza, and upon inquiry, I was informed that I needed to add two pizzas to avail the offer. Unfortunately, this requirement was not communicated anywhere on the restaurant page or during the payment process. When I raised the issue, I was directed to read the FAQs and terms and conditions. I find it perplexing that Zomato charges an extra platform fee on its mobile application without explicitly notifying users about the offer conditions before accepting the payments.

                                I suggested that Zomato implement a notification system, such as a pop-up message, prompting users to add an additional item for the ongoing offer. Despite providing this feedback, Zomato stated they couldn't compensate or provide an extra pizza. I reached out to Ovenstory, and they redirected me to Zomato, creating a frustrating loop.

                                This incident not only wasted 1-2 hours of my time but, more importantly, left my family of four without enough food for the night. It's disappointing to note that this is not the first time I've faced such challenges with Zomato. I have proofs with screenshot of the offer, invoice and customer care chat message.

                                Expecting a resolution and right justice on this issue which seems to be Fraudulent in nature and cheating the people.

                                  I have ordered food from sahara bakers restaurant on nov 12th 2023.

                                  After some time deliver agent called from a location which is 60m away from delivery address.

                                  The agent rejected the order
                                  Cause of he is unable to come and delivery the parcel, reason was the road was blocked by diwali crackers, i requested the agent please make it posible to deliver the parcel,
                                  He instantly say please spoke with customer.
                                  On that time zomato exicutive contacted me and said sir the order was deliverd by behalf of delivery agent if he could't order was cancelled by him self.

                                  After few mins i got call from zomato exicutive says sir delivery agent was at ocation he can't find the address and also you not mention door number.

                                  Actually he is not the excat location, and he is finding the door number from approx 60m away.

                                  This overall fault was zomato and also those excutives contacted my not first one, remainig zomaoo exccuiitives area supporting delivery agent only.

                                  And didn't get refund the amount.

                                  We had a hard time with zomato support as well. They didn't initiate the refund. 149.84 rupees money is lost but zomato response is not good.
