Ordered food from zomato with orderid [protected] of rs 105.25 on jan 26, 2020. They did not delivered the food and when i talked to their customer support for the refund, their initiated the refund of rs 30.25 and the message i received is below

"we have initiated a refund against your order (Id: [protected]) on zomato order. Refund of rs 30.25 will start reflecting in your account within 2-7 working days."

When i pointed out that i need the full refund of rs 105.25, they said they have escalated the issue and i will receive full refund in 2-7 days.

After 2 days, i got refund of rs 30.25. Again i asked their customer support that i haven't received my full amount, they again said we have escalated the issue and you will remaining amount in 2-7 days.

After 7 days i again contacted them that i haven't received my money, now they are saying they have refunded my entire money for this order id. This is how zomato is cheating their customers

    Yesterday i ordered some waffles. My address is given in the app itself. I went on to have shower my family was there at home. The order was prepaid. 672 something. The delivery guy called me i don't know why for like 2/3 times and zomato just cancelled my order. And they didn't refund me my money saying it was a penalty and there is nothing that they can do.

        Have order the food online using ur app... Also have entered my correct address... Which is saved in my app... Still delivery boy is denying to deliver the order stating that location was wrong... And abusing on call... He dnt have any manners how to talk to a lady on a call... He was just sharing on call... Mein nai aauga muje traffic or ye sab milta h raste me... Is this a service which we receiving from zomato.
        Please educate your delivery boy also to the customer support executive how to talk...

          I ordered food from zomato and the restaurant name was asit snacks bar. I already paid for food by paytm. But i haven't received the food. I called the delivery boy so many times but he didn't receive my call and also restaurant. So, i mailed to the zomato regarding this problem. But some customer executive, his name is inderjeet roy, he is saying that your food is already delivered but i didn't get the food.

            I have ordered food in zomato today afternoon then i went to a meeting. I thought food was delivered with security officer but i was shocked the food not delivered and i have checked with the app it said like food not delivered and also i have received no refund
            I called the delivery guy he said the food is returned to the restaurant and i called the restaurant they said please speak with the zomato we can't do anything again i called the delivery guy he said come to restaurant i will ask about the food. When i went to restaurant they said we will receive 50% amount we can't provide you the food ask the zomato customer
            Then chated with zomato customer care he replied we can't give refund so i asked for refund policy he said i can find while ordering the food.
            No customer support number available only chat
            No proper response from customer support
            No refund for the paid food which is not delivered

              I ordered from a cafe in trichy and paid using my upi. One of the item was missing and i complained it to zomato and they told they had initiated a refund. Its been 10 days and i still didnt recieved my refund.

              Kindly please take proper action against it.
              Value for money should be protected. I lost my all faith in zomato. My friends also complained about the same.

                I am living in newzealand and my partner in india was craving for a good evening snack of momos and then i thought about zomato as they’re the only best ones to help.
                I made the order on zomato of momos from wow momos and paid pnline for that.
                Kept on waiting i slept. Next morninh i asked my partner but she didn’t receive any order. I was surprised. I cross checked the address and the contact provided by me. Everything was right and corect. So i confronted zomato chat people to which they refused to look into the case and said no
                It’s too late for us to verify the issue. Like what the heck? I told them am ordering from
                Overseas. And i mentioned it was a surprise for my partner in india.
                And until now they are refusing to verify the order. Because in actual
                The order was never delivered because my partners wasn’t hoke at that time of delivery. Never expected this from zomato.
                Is that what i expect from zomato? A company on which i am relying from so many years.

                Shame it is.

                      I ordered from oasis baklawa cake n pasta. I paid the order online. It got rejected and they said that your nom was not reachable valet tried to call me. If i agree with u that if one 1% my no. Was unreachable ok fine. But the address i mentioned. Y didn't he delivered at the address. I[censored] guys have to just call n then deliver. Then there should be no use of address. No. Y he did not deliver to my addres. I. Was waiting for cake fr my brother's birthday. N at last moment it gt cancelled. For me zomato is unreliable. And we should not pay in advance. Bcoz once u pay they say ur no. Was not reachable and order got cancelled. The person on zomato chat says its a zomato policy. U guys have new way of earning money n fooling people like this.

                        Thank you for your support you are here

                        But i did not received an order because everyone is playing with me from zomato and they are taking money first and after confirming they are not delivering the parcel and giving lots of excuses i believe all of you will take care of it because zomato hasnt refund my money as well

                        Everyone is giving excuses, no one is helping me for that, nno support or no other department

                        Last time i complaint about the food but i was compromise because that was my first complaint but at this time i cannot compromise it because since morning i did not take food and i just finish my work and i was getting very angry and if you aware about the pune, in night time we are not able to find the good food

                        Executive is coming there and from 1.5 km he is calling me and saying he can not come to my location

                        They already confirm my location because i took pin location also i mention my work address over there

                        I attached copy of my address copy which confirm by zomato

                          Hi support team,

                          It seems that you no longer respect your customers and take them for granted. My order was cancelled by zomato after half an hour and after being accepted by the restaurant. The restaurant told me that the food was ready and it was zomato which had cancelled the order. Upon trying to chat with customer service i get no reply. I had guests over at my place and i was really looking forward to zomato delivering as usual but only to find that neither is zomato interested in fulfilling orders, you guys are even not interested in replying to your customer. I am a gold member only because you had been so reliable till now. This kind o[censored]nprofessionalism is not accepted and is uncalled for.

                            Pls initiate refund.
                            Fake Cancellation charges has been applied by zomato.. Delivery boy called me and said restaurant is closed and you need to cancel the order on the basis if his commitment I have cancelled the order.. Bow Zomato team is saying that we will bot refund the amount.

                              I ordered 3 items from zomato yesterday nite for dinner.
                              Taj restaurant
                              Grill chicken half 190
                              Egg parota 65
                              Bun parota 70
                              Delivery 12
                              Total 337

                              But the quantity of food was really less and i asked for 150 refund or coupon since both service provider and the seeker should not feel bad so i asked 150 back via mobile app.

                              Feb 3 i raised concerns but they said within 24 hrs you will get a response but tdy i checked in app again and could see they are saying like you should said earlier since this much time went we can't proceed with the cashback process.

                              About half a day went for this genuine issue.
                              Really feeling bad for ordering online.

                              Since the found the issue in the order they are saying to mail to below mentioned i'd so that they will assist you but i had raised lot many times for many cases i haven't received a correct response.

                              They will be saying like they will update and provide a better service henceforth but nothing happened simply waste.

                              Since i said i gave mob num and chatting via app, why i should drop a mail.
                              There is mo response for this they are saying like only they can assist.

                              Than what's the use of this chat support.

                              They are cheating many people in this online ordering and food safety and rules are not followed properly kindly take this as a serious issues and try to resolve it as early as possible.

                                There are multiple times zomato has proven incompetent in its services
                                From the smaller inconveniences like the delivery time and spillages to the larger ones that i will now be listing down
                                In january i had made the payment for a years worth of zomato gold subscription which did not get activated
                                I wrote a complaint immediately and the customer support informed me they were sorry and i would receive a refund in 4-6 working days
                                It has been over a month now and upon further communication with their support team, they informed me that the refund would not be made but i would get a subscription until april
                                I have paid for the services until january 2021 and i am being given the service for only a quarter of that
                                Further concerns occur while placing orders
                                Once the order is placed and paid for i am informed that the order has been received and shortly after that it has been accepted
                                Updates regarding the valet making his way to pick up the order and through all this the order is declined or cancelled for various reasons such as in availability of the item or the incapacity of the restaurant to fulfill it. I am unable to understand why the confirmation was made or given to the customer when it was cancelled for these reasons. Moreover, when clearly it is not the fault of the consumer, there is no refund initiated for these cancelled orders or in fact even a replacement for the same.
                                Upon looking through the order records, for multiple orders two to three entries are made where one order is recorded as paid but the remaining entries have been marked as ‘payment incomplete’

                                Being a college student and a sound consumer who is aware of her rights, i stand to not be put through this incompetent service that is not worth my money. Zomato is scamming it’s customers for their money’s worth and their customer support is a joke.

                                Ordered egg briyani and found some meat bones in it. The chat support refused to refund the amount. The support said only coupon for next order can be provided. They did not agree to refund money even though I shared photos / proofs of bones in the order.

                                आप के डेलिवर बॉय वक्त पर डेलिवर नही देते और बहुत बार तो ऑनलाइन पेमेंट होने के बावजूद ना डेलिवरी देते है ..और पहेलेसे paid किए गये पैसे तो ओ भी समजो गये ...आप की कंपनी भी इस बारे मैं शख्स के घीरे मै आ जाती है ...जल्द सुधार करो ..! वरना मार्केट मै बहूत दुसरी कंपनीज़ है ..!

                                  I have placed an order from biryani bucket of veg food (Mushroom biryani).
                                  I have received some non-vegetarian food.
                                  This is really worst experience for me as i'm a vegetarian.
                                  I would like to have my money back, refund me and ask them to take their non-vegetarian food back.
                                  There is no other option for me to connect with the restaurant and ask them about my order details.
                                  I have called a number by searching in google, when i asked him is it biryani bucket he said yes, but when i told him about the issue he's like you have called wrong number.
                                  This is really pathetic.

                                  I order chicken dish from weather spice for152rs but the order is automatically cancelled a d money deducted from my account but i again order from my debit may deducted again and I didn't get my my refund to my bank please resolve my problem as soon as possible
                                  I placed a bulk order from Biriyani Kitchen from In Orbit Mall near Whitefield.
                                  At the time of picking up the order, the delivery guy calls me and asks this is a bulk order, how am I supposed to carry it so far? Such pathetic service.

                                  Food Delivered to someone else by the delivery boy and upon raising a question it was delivered to me after 15 minutes. When tried to reject the order it was refused and later refund was also refused.

                                    I was trying to place an order of Rupees 267 on ZOMATO on 03/02/20, the order wasn't confirmed but the Order amount was deducted from my Bank account and the order is not confirmed.

                                    Please take note of the attached transaction message from ICICI Bank showing the amount has been debited from my account however the order is not showing confirmed and is showing as payment incomplete.

                                    I request ZOMATO to refund me my deducted amount by today or give me a confirmation that my order has been confirmed.

                                      Zomato is now cheating money from customers by not delivering the food and not refunding money saying the order is cancelled as you were non responsive on phone. Whereas twice i ordered & no one came to my house hence no house bell was ranged nor did i receive any call whatsoever. My order no's are [protected] & [protected] respectively. I specifically stood outside my house this time for the second order just to check and there was no one there but on phone i saw my order getting cancelled as i'm not there to receive it.

                                        Yesterday i had ordered food from zomato and the restaurant rm where i ordered they delivered me a rotten food nd when i told this to zomato customer service they refunded back my money but after some time they blocked my account without informing me and when i tried to email them they all went unresponsive from yesterday onwards i have wrote them so many emails but they are not replying nor they are telling why they blocked my account please do something regarding this as because my money is there in that account

                                        Hey my friend had booked three tickets to zomaland for 2nd Feb in the name likitha keerthi, since I'm not able to make it on Feb 2nd I want to cancel the ticket and if it's three days before the event it says 80% should be refunded but when she spoke to the agent they say the refund isn't possible.
