Due to arrival of guests at home in Mathura, I had ordered certain food items from Chocolate room on Zomato app. The courier boy called from mid way and i gsve him location directions, though his voice was much clear. Then he called me several times and I told him that your device is faulty, call from other phone. He did not heed, neither searched my home, though he was somewhere in my neighbourhood as I understood. I even sent my guests to locate him but he went back in a haste without informing me. I tried his number many times but he made his phone like that and I was talking and he was not responding. I think I made a mistake by telling him that I was in Agra when he had called from midway. Possibly he did not arrive at the location. Zomato informed me that my order was cancelled due to non-availability of mine over phone. This was simply ridiculous and I cannot explain how much anger I have for that cheat delivery boy (as per details from Faridabad). Since my order was prepaid, he could do such mischief. If I was unapproachable then my phone records can be checked. How many times I attented his call and called him from my side. Now, after this cheating company executive is telling that they cannot refund my money. Why? Where is my fault? Is the delivery boy of company a duffer who is not able to see pre-saved location on map before the order was booked. I just not need refund, but also a stern action against such frauds so that others do not suffer at their hand. My family waited for so long for the food items and then issue of refund due to non-delivery.
