Tried to order food by paying online via zomato. The transaction failed order was not confirmed but the money was deducted from my bank account. Tried to reach zomato chat support. The chat support response is horrible!! I wrote everything, After 40 min they replied with "hi " only, then no one was there to respond. After a long long pause thet revert! Not expected from zomato!

    Hello this is sushobhit yadav. I just placed an order from zomato application and as soon as my order is accepted i called delivery boy to make him clear about my location and asked him to call if he had any problem. After 30 minutes he called me that your location from where your order were placed is different from the location you told me and you are right now. I tried to make convince him that i am at the same place from where i placed the order and which i mentioned in address detail and told you on phone. He rejected my order and when i tried to chat in zomato and put my concern after my 2 messages. I was not capable to send msgs as server was not connected... And this is the second time the same thing happened with me

    I have ordered the food to my home address at pettavaithalai. They accepted the order and after confirmation they declined my order and they didn't even refund my money. Despite they can come out and beg for money. Ruthless beggar

    My ordered is not delivered. Your Zomato boy that name is mehulKumar from petlad. I give my original address but this boy delivered another place. I don't get money that and I give my payment with credit card.

      I have received a partial and incorrect order which was delivered on 18.09.2019. customer care said they have heard from rider that customer has told to rider that they have received complete order .
      Based on the rider lieing words customer care had concluded the chat and cut the chat conversation while chatting with them. They declared not to refund or replace the item.zomato should feel ashame of charging packing charges from customers. They will be available only on chat and cut the chat in between and if asks again they replied that they have chat with the customer for a while. Shame on zomato

        I ordered food from Zomato in Hyderabad from monginis cake shop and already paid for for it but after 2 hours also my order is not delivered and is also not showing any option for cancellation and when I tried to contact Zomato chat it also shows an error no. 3 and I can't find any other way to resolve my problem.
        And I neither think they will refund my pay as they are not responding on any customer care no. or chat.

        I ordered a cake from zomato app at 9pm and after 3 hrs also the app was showing that the zomato valet is in the restaurant and the food is being prepared. But when I called the valet it was switched off and i just waited till 12am to get the order. But in the morning i saw the app is showing that the order was delivered at 3:30 am night. But I havnt got any order neither the refund. What scam is this zomato??

          I'd like to lodge a complaint against zomato. I had placed an order on 12/9/2019 for 2 items (Order snapshot attached) and just one dish was delivered. The 'thai nam prik prawns' was missing and only 'chicken momos' was delivered. I immediately notified the delivery person and tried calling the restaurant on the given no several times but there was no response. The delivery person suggested that he will take the bill to the restaurant and that i call him after he reached the restaurant. The restaurant owner acknowledged the mistake and said the delivery person is not willing to deliver the missing order to me again. This is acceptable as it is not his fault. Thus i told the restaurant that i will contact zomato support and ask for a refund. Now i chat with a zomato support executive and he gave me an option of taking zomato credits which will have an expiry of 1 month. I refused and opted for refund. But he said he couldn't do it from his end and to write to zomato support. I dropped an email on the same day (Sep 12) and i got an automated response after which there has been no update on it in 5 days (Sep 17) after 2-3 followups.

          1. The company (Zomato) hasn't cared to give me a single follow up after 8 days of raising the issue via mail and support chat, let alone try to resolve my issue. 2. I've resolved the issue with the restaurant on my own. 3. My message to Zomato - Thanks for the stark reminder of how inefficient you are. Thanks for reminding me to think thrice hereafter before I open the Zomato app. Thanks for reminding me to never personally favor Zomato over your other competitors.

          I ordered half of grilled chicken but I got only sibgle small piece of chicken from bake and juce restaurant through zomato order nomber [protected]
          I order a cake from zomato gr noida up ...the cake is in worst condition totally messed up...all topping chocolates cream went up side down ...worst ordering with zomato .

            I placed a order of 397, within 5 minutes i placed cancell request, but zomato charged full amount by saying the food is prepared now it will get waste.
            I called to restaurant before cancelling the order and they told me the food is not prepared yet. Then how can zomato say that food is prepared and where is food wasted.
            Now to whom money is paid.?

            I had placed order from zomato app, zomato app redirect the order to delhi branch and i had placed the order for faridabad branch, if the faridabad branch was closed they need to refund my money . i had contacted to chat support
            they are not understanding the concern .moreover they are disconnecting the chat .

              I had placed an order on zomato and had issues with the order respectively. On raising a concern, an executive helped me and resolved my complain by giving me zomato credits. The next day i try to place an order and it says my account has been disabled from online orders dude to suspicious behaviour. I need an explaination for this, zomato. And all agents have been unresponsive ever since then and mails have not been responding to me as well.
              Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
              Hi have recently order for burger, his agent not reached at mentioned location afterthat without disucssed from customer order rejected and payment not refunded.

              Please take action otherwise i will take action on upper level

                Delivery executives are facing challenges as they aren't getting sufficient orders to fulfill during the day through which they can feed their families. Today i.e. 16th Sep, 2019 around 8:15 pm i've met an executive yelling at Zomato's customer care executive very badly for not receiving sufficient orders in a day. As per him he has just earned 80 to 100 bucks in a whole day where his colleagues were receiving min of 15 to 16 orders in a day where as he has just fulfilled only 5 orders in whole day which inturn gave him only 80 bucks which actually is an insufficient amount to feed anyone's family of even two people. I must say that Zomato must role out with a scheme of minimum pay to every delivery executive so that every executive can feed his or her family every day. No delivery guy can put efforts to get more deliveries on his own as the app get's him the order. Similarly no customer can choose a delivery executive on his own as the app decides to which delivery executive any order would be landing.

                  I don't think that zomato wanted to help the citizen's safe and security the torcher of wow Bengali is increasing day by day, infact they are using slang to us..they have opened a restaurant in the flat on the 1st floor and all the garbage are inserted into our flat its not good for the Heath of kids and also for myself plz help us. Warn them to implement chimney or to change the place.

                    : i have ordered on zomato on 16-9-19. My order id : [protected]
                    They cancelled my order on there own and kept the money amount which i have paid for it saying cancellation charge.
                    They have cancelled saying i didn\’t respond to there call.
                    1) there delivery executive didn\’t reach at my address
                    2) he called me i didn\’t take his call at that time as my cell phone was in silent mode but i found his missed call soon say within 3 mins and called him back immediately, the delivery executive didn’t take my call then i called him again this time he has received and said he has moved on
                    My point is
                    1) he didn\’t reached at my address which he is claiming to be
                    2) i called him with 3 mind and you are saying you moved on that too arrogantly.
                    Please help

                      I have ordered a food on 13/09/2019 with order i'd:[protected] of rs.136/- for which i did not receive the order and it is marked as delivered in app and i haven't received the refund yet. Always customer service representatives are asking me wait for 48 which i did already but no response from them. Very worst experience i had with zomato, all other companies will resolve the query immediately expect zomato guys. I want to file a case on zomato people. The delivery boy was very rude on call and all chat representatives are useless they are sending me to wait for 48 hours and disconnecting the chat immediately, no responsibility towards the customer query. Now i received a response from them stating that they will not refund my money and simply sorry, i am been harassed by zomato. Please file a case. At any cost i need my refund.

                        Hello sir i have mistakenly order food on zomato and i have instant cancelled they order and also ordered not received...                         I have to order veg machirian and mix veg chaowmine from mirchi, patna, bihar but taking more time, for placed order and no packing of zomato sticker, packing always open and less than a full of chaowmine, and no given bill & souce.
                        On 6th September I was trying to place an order on zomato nd I was using Google pay for payment bt that payment happened from my side bt order was cancelled. Nd 163/- has been deducted from my account. I want refund asap

                          I had ordered 5 veg grilled sandwiches on 14 sept 2019 at 7.14 pm and paid rs 313 to delivery boy. There was an offer of 40% discount on the order but it was not given. Since i was busy at that time i noticed this later on. The order was delivered from juice factory. Kindly arrange to give me credit of amount of discount which may pl be adjusted in my next order.

                            I ordered food from paradise, kothapet, hyderabad through zomato app as per the order no [protected] dated 21.08.2019 at 07.03 pm and paid rs 1671.30 through my citibank credit card.

                            The delivery person cheated and after a long delay never delivered the food. This was acknowledged by your chat support on same day.

                            I was told by your chat support that i'll be refunded the amount of rs 1671 to my credit card account and the credit would happen in 5 to 7 days. The refund has not been done as yet. After continued followup on chat support, you have been evasive without any action on my refund. I am attaching all the chat discussions.

                            Take notice that further delay in refund is not tenable and i shall initiate appropriate action if you continue to evade the refund including informing the appropriate authorities for stern action.

                            It is demanded to refund the amount of rs 1671.30 immediately along with compensation of rs 1000, for the hardship caused immediately.

                            Also inform your full postal address per return email.

                              I got below message on 30 th august. Its been more than 15 days, zomato dint refund my money back. This is extremely ridiculous. Please look into this and refund the money as soon as possible.

                              “we have initiated a refund against your order (Id: [protected]) on zomato order. Refund of rs 1335.99 will start reflecting in your account within 2-7 working days.”

                                I ordered my food on 9th september 2019.
                                This was my first order so i applied welcome coupon code according to which i should have got 100% cashback upto rs 300. Mg order was of rs 272. But i didn't receive any cashback. I talked to their chat support twice, they told i will receive cashback within 48 hrs. But its about 156 hrs and i haven't received any cashback yet....

                                This is regarding zomato order for which i am eligible for refund as the food quality was very bad. This was not goot to be consumed by human.
                                The total amount of order was 221 inr. The zomato chatbot generate a coupon worth 186inr automatically. But i do not want any coupon or discount but a total refund in my account.
                                Zomato has refused to provide refund. It someone is not willing g to have coupon then they should provide refund in their original payment method.

                                  I ordered (Order number: [protected]) an item from a local restaurant through zomato using my debit card. The food was sitting in the resturant for half an hour as the rider wasn't available. And further the rider wasn't assigned to my order. The food was never delivered by zomato but they debited the order amount from my account as i had paid through my card. I reached out to customer support but to no avail i kept receiving bot responses. Pathetic service.

                                    This is the second time this has happened that Zomato has failed to deliver my order and even after raising issue with them, they didn't respond to me. For 1hour I was trying to contact them to know the issue but to no avail. Very disappointed. This is not how you treat your customers. All customer care were either switched off or not working. What I got was mainly a bot reply from other end saying there is only chat support available when I wanted to personally talk to them. Not going to use Zomato ever again.

                                      I ordered a 'super bbq non veg platter' from the continental express restaurant through zomato. The description for the item included an 8 in pizza, however a 6 in pizza was delivered to me. When i compared the size with a tiny coke bottle (20rs one), it was clearly evident. However i'm unable to reach to zomato regarding this as i keep getting connected to a chat bot which responds by saying "please select a restaurant with higher rating next time". Even after i responded saying i was unsatisfied with the resolution, i received no further communication from zomato. By the time i was getting the issue clarified my food was already cold and had to end up eating a cold pizza.
