        Hi

        I have got the message from my pay later account that the payment is done towards the Gold pro membership of INR 399. I have never initiated this payment and its been activated in my account. I want refund of it. I never initiated the membership purshase, who can zomato do it without my consent. this is a fraud with me.

        I need the refund of the amount on immediate basis, otherwise, I will take the legal action for such fraud.

          Hello,
          I have placed and order on Zomato with order number [protected] using UPI and surprisingly without delivering the order its showing my order delivered at given location and raised a complaint with customer care and without my approval they raised promocode instead of refunding back my amount to same source when i spoke to customer care executive she was telling me that i have approved for it and i dont have other option instead o[censored]sing it. They are literally doing fraud with customers.
          Please take care of this issue.

                I have earned 62 zomato credits by playing ZPL. I want to avail this, but when I was doing so I found my zomato account has been disabled/deactivated (without my consent) when I Dropped a mail regarding this issue on [protected]@zomato, theysaid that I will have to wait for 48 hours and it's more than 72 hours and my zomato account is still blocked. Please activate it before 21st because my zomato credit is gonna expire on 21 st. I have contacted team zomato for dozens of time but none is resolving my query. Please reactivate my zomato account. Please reactivate it today as my credit will expire today

                  Ordered dinner on Zomato's platform for family from Wendy's tonight and after waiting for a while (till about 10:45 PM), the Zomato delivery executive arrived with only 50% of the order. While collecting the order, I told him there are items missing in my order. His rude response was "I don't know anything about what you ordered, I have brought whatever the restaurant handed to me. If you have a problem, complain to customer care" and walked away since I had paid online so he did not have to wait for a payment of Rs. 868.35.

                  On contacting customer care, the first executive (Name: Bujugundla) could barely even understand my issue over chat and the solution provided was "Write a review on the restaurant's page so that the feedback goes directly to the restaurant". When I expressed my utter dissatisfaction, the next solution provided was "Since you are a valued customer, we are offering you a refund of Rs. 78". This clearly showed this executive did not understand the concern, nor did not bother to even figure out the monetary value of missing items.

                  After I threatened to escalate against this pathetic solution, the chat was transferred to the Zomato escalation desk where another executive (Name: Sayantika) contacted me. The restaurant did not answer her call, nor did she agree to send the delivery executive back to the restaurant to check and collect the rest of my order. The only solution provided was a refund for missing items (refund amount was not mentioned, nor did I accept that as an acceptable resolution) as I asked for the delivery person to be sent to collect the partially delivered items back from my house and for 100% refund to be processed. That request was denied as well and the only response I received was that Zomato have tried their best and there's nothing else that can be done. Hence I was extremely frustrated and did not want to discuss further when there was not going to be a fair resolution and I had to quickly get onto Swiggy to order dinner before restaurants shut as it was beyond 11:20 PM already.

                  This is not even the first time that Zomato has not been able to deliver my order properly and this time it was 50% of my order missing, which is absolutely unheard of and impossible for anyone to have such poor level of service.

                        This is regarding my order placed on 11 May. My order id is [protected]. I have ordered 2 items from Zomato and paid Rs 661 . I got the wrong delivery when I approached zomato to return the product and refund my money back. They sent me the promo code of Rs 490 with the validity of 1 month . I told them I don't want promo code as this is for one time use with the validity of 1 month instead you give my money back to my source account . After sending multiple mails they initiated the refund of Rs 171 to my account and Rs 490 as a promo code to my account with the validity of one month. IF I will not order anything in a month time I will loose the money . I need Rs 490 to my source account so that I can use it anywhere.

                        I believe the promo code is a offer not the replacement of money and if this is the alternative to refund money then its cheating.

                        This is a case of negligence from Zomoto side and it led to a lot of inconvience that needs to be compensated for . Because of this wrong delivery I again spent around Rs600 to order food from some other partner.

                        I am very disappointed after this incident . This is not the matter of money but the trust and services provided to the customer.

                        I hope you understand the concern and take appropriate action.

                          I am writing to file a formal complaint against Zomato, an online food delivery platform, regarding an unresolved refund and their mismanagement of a payment issue. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the matter directly with Zomato's customer support, I have not received a satisfactory resolution or refund.
                          On 13th May 2023, I made a payment through Zomato's platform for an order using their Zomato Gold service. However, the transaction failed, and I was charged for the order. Since then, I have been in contact with Zomato's customer support via email, but despite their assurances that the refund would be processed within 4 hours, I have not received it.

                          The lack of transparency, accountability, and timely resolution from Zomato is deeply concerning. It has been 6 days since the incident, and the refund has not been received, nor has the amount been reflected in my Zomato credits as promised.

                          I am seeking the intervention of the Consumer Court to address this matter and ensure that justice is served. I kindly request your assistance in initiating a formal investigation, compelling Zomato to provide the refund promptly, and taking appropriate action against their mismanagement of the payment issue.

                          Enclosed with this complaint are images, including proof of payment, email correspondence with Zomato's customer support, and any other supporting evidence that may be necessary to understand the gravity of the situation.

                          I trust in the Consumer Forum's commitment to protecting consumer rights and ensuring fair resolutions. I sincerely hope that the Consumer Court will promptly address this complaint and hold Zomato accountable for their negligence and failure to provide the promised resolution.

                          Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a favorable resolution and the restoration of my faith in the consumer protection system.

                            It was 1pm I ordered food, I and my 10 year old brother was waiting for food, expected time of delivery was 40min, I waited for 1hr and called customer executive and they again made me to wait for another 1 hr and later said your order is canceled and refund of amount is initiated. They did it very simple. But I faced many issues later. After order got canceled I went out in search of food but as it was 3:30pm everything was closed and later came back and ordered from zomato only and I had my lunch at 5:30. This was the issue I faced, I wasted my precious time for the zomato's negligence and frustrated with their service and moreover the refund is taking more time. Strict action need to be taken against them. If the order is canceled from their end, then full refund plus twice the total amount paid for wasting time and for making frustrated.

                                  Sir/Madam, I ordered lunch @138 that time being Sunday and since its VEG meals the approx. delivery time was 20 mins. I was waiting for 1 hr till then my order was not even picked up and in the app its showing the same status. I called to cancel my order upon which the support person said he cannot cancel order but can only deliver. I was really shocked by his statement its a clear message that we should have food by the timings decided by Zomato.
                                  There is no moral and no option for users to cancel even after waiting for predetermined or specified time.
                                  Pl. let me know what we could do to get this addressed.

                                    This is a serious matter that Zomato ignored and provided the worst resolution. I was waiting for my food and got the disgusting items that ruined my dinner also I couldn't order it again or send it back and couldn't eat the dinner because of Zomato. I called the restaurant also and told them about the problem. Zomato doesn't have any instant solution and you don't even regret your mistakes. This is not how the business should be done. I've seen the resolution of Swiggy and other apps, they actually listen to the problem and at least talk to their customer and provide either a full refund or a genuine resolution.
                                    The problems I got with:
                                    I have ordered 5 different food items from the restaurant Al Baik's Broasted. There was no seal on the food packing. While I was eating, I found a strand of hair or I don't know what they were in my food.

                                    1. Two Chicken Cheeseburgers I ordered were missing.2. Chicken Wings--Small pieces of hair (Attached photos)
                                    3. Chicken Nuggets--Small pieces of hair (Attached photos)4. Chicken Leg 4--Small pieces of hairs (Attached photos)5. Chicken Nuggets -- It was ok and eatable.

                                    I was quite shocked and disappointed by this discovery and tried to connect with a Zomato executive but all I got was an email to tell me the problem so I can get a Review as a resolution.
                                    I know how Zomato treat its customer so I immediately clicked the photos and made a video because I knew Zomato won't connect me to an executive immediately.
                                    My order value was Rs.1583 and Zomato is refusing to give a refund even though it should know that this is a serious concern and treated with a police complaint. I've seen the customer in a restaurant how they react to the foreign material found in their meal and the restaurant gets closed. It is a matter of serious concern because the restaurant can misuse the platform and Zomato is not even concerned about it. Zomato thinks the resolution is best but still cannot dare to talk with your customer. I have my office and other family members who I've told the problem and told them to stop ordering from the platform after I showed the replies I got from Zomato. I would have to Tweet and post about the frauds of Zomato and I'm also preparing an article for the same title.
                                    I want to ask Zomato to inquire about the matter and provide me a refund because that would be their responsibility and my problem should be resolved on time in a proper manner and not ignore my messages with foolish or automatic statements.

                                      On delivery Potato Wedges was missing. I contacted Zomato Support. And they only refunded me 99 rs. But the Invoice amount for the Potato wedges is 130 rs.
                                      I am missing the balance amount of 31 rs.
                                      Customer support just ended the support with no means of reaching out to support again
                                      Please refund the missing amount.
