How would you feel after you purchase the "gold membership" and after 2 months, the customer service executive tells you over chat that you are not a gold member on their records. Having gone through through this, i investigated further and found out that my membership is infact active and the executive thought it would be funny to harass a customer who not only buys the company's premium service but also is a frequent user of the same. If this is the kind of people you hire at zomato and if you don't have a customer management policy in place, can you please tell me how to end the membership and how can i get my refund on pro rata basis. I wouldn't want to associate with a company that can tolerate this behavior. There is also a case logged in your system and you can refer to it by case id 714541.

    I have ordered from a restaurant named biryani blues which is at lajpat nagar 2. The problem i faced after ordering from the restaurant was i didn't get assigned to any delivery boy. So i called to the restaurant. First they responded and i asked them about the details of the delivery boy which i was supposed to be assigned. But the restaurant didn't respond. And i mistakenly pressed that i got my delivery. But i didn't get that order. And i paid for the order too. So please let me know whether i'm gonna get my refund or not.

      Are you guys making me fool
      Is this is the service you provide to customers
      Zomato eat money of customer is thus your company policy
      I received wrong order they sent me chicken keema and sprite and when i contacted agents they are dumb that they didn't help me
      When i am going to register complaint in police station you deleted my photos which i have sent so that i can't conpain
      I told them to connect with restaurant i will talk to them
      But your agents are so dump that they didn't even do that work
      Is this how zomato works
      I hve wasted my money on that # i strictly the refund regarding the order
      If you didn't send refund then sent me that photo i have to register complaint against your company in police station and consumer court

        I received incorrect food so i asked either replacement and the this food back or give me refund because hotel gave me 2 same sabji so they were ready for refund but the credits didn't reflected my wallet after 1 day so i asked forcefully i want the credits but didn't receive the credits but they blocked my account and gave me the credits after 3 days. So i am asking the zomato team to unblock my account and the total amount of refund was 100 rups in total... So there has been some misunderstanding and some agent has done it intentionally... Please take look into this. I have been mailing zomato team from 1 week but still they are unresponsive. My order i'd was-[protected].

          I placed an order on 5th July 2019. The details of which are captured in the photo attachments. Zomato has charged me more than the amount charged by the hotel. In addition there is a separate delivery charge. Nowhere on the website is it mentioned that Zomato will add his profit margin over and above the MRP of the restaurant. This is a clear case of looting and cheating the customer by overcharging inexcess of MRP.

            not receiving order

            I have order from my nearby restaurant so that i can get the food faster but have not received the order, i have paid for it online and they have cancelled my order after that.

            This kind of behavious is not good at all, yesterday night i have order and received the order after a long wait. These problems i am facing again n again, i am a regular customer but now i think i have to stop ordering from your site....

            I have received bad food and completely spoiled food plus one order was missing.
            Worst experience of my recent eva's pizza order. Few things which i wish to highlight
            1. Delayed order - 17 members were waiting for pizza
            2. One of the order was missed from the entire order
            3. Because of one missed order, everyone was waiting for another order
            4. Packaging issues - pizza topping were at the corner of box so spoiled food received
            5. Wasted our time & lunch plan.

              Hi,

              This is on 1st july, i had ordered cake for my 4years son's b'day through zomato (Order id - [protected]) and made the payment online.

              Their delivery did not deliver the cake. He called me, but i could not answer as i was away. However, i tried reaching him back as soon as i saw the missed call but his number was not getting through.

              He did not need to call as i was at home only waiting for this delivery and my address is also not at all confusing. He should have directly come to the door. Or could have given to the security person at the gate.

              I stay at a3-105, national games village, koramangala - 560047.

              I complained the same to zomato, they are very irresponsive on this subject. I even called the restaurnt (Sweet chariot) from where he had collected the cake for delivery, but delivery guy did not return the cake to restaurant back.
              Zomato's response was very unprofessional on this subject asking me to place new order and pay.

              Their delivery guy never responded to calls. Tried even next day.

              Had he returned the cake, i would have picked up from the restaurant.

              Kindly look into this matter and help to get me my money back.

                I ordered food and was tracking it live continuously. As per tracking details it was still half an hour for valet to reach me. However, within few minutes they cancelled my order saying that i was not available at the address and my number was not reachable.

                I tried customer chat support they denied my refund and said the food got wasted so they cannot refund. What kind of arrangement is this?

                Totally disheartened by these people. Please do not steal someones money like this. Nobody should pay online.

                  U make fool of people... Biggest lier.. Cheater no word for u and ur service and ur customer representatives people
                  U must be on high but this service u r coming to one shop company without any customer for damm sure...
                  U r representatives just don't no how to solve issue they just know refund close the matter...
                  Useless people work in zomato. And management is like 10 fail...

                  I am akanksha vora. Zomato has cheated with not refunding money and and also they did not delivered the product. I am extremely disappointed with this type of behaviour of zomato and its team. They are not receiving my calls.

                    To whom so ever it may concern

                    I place an order from Sethi barbeque at 8.34 pm. But I didn't receive my order. I tried to call Akash (the delivery boy) but the phone was continuously switched off. when I contacted the restaurant they said that the food has been picked up an hour ago. But I didn't receive it. And now I am getting the message that my food was delivered. This is how you treat your customers no chart support the delivery boy number was switched off as well as the customer care service. I want a full refund as I didn't receive my food.
                    I hope you will understand my situation and take action accordingly have mailed my complaint 3 days ago but still, there is no response. i

                      Here is the thing, i have ordered my food from a restaurant and after waiting for about half an hour i called the zomato valet and he replied that i can’t deliver the food because of the app is not working. After this i wrote the issue to the agent and he was not able to provide me with any kind of solution by saying that because of the heavy traffic the valet is unable to deliver your order. My concern is that if your zomato valet is not available at the time then please don’t accept the orders or else if you have accepted the order then make sure to deliver it. It’s been more than 1.30 hour i have waited for my food. And these guys don’t care because they don’t bother for there customers. I am saying all this because i have experienced it not once not twice but thrice. I will not entertain the zomato app in future and i will make sure that none of my friends do. Pathetic service, no follows up with the restaurants, they don’t have the command over their own valets, good bless you guys because your work is pathetic.

                      Ordered from zomato in the afternoon and they given me a spillage item and blamed me that i have created all this...from 2 pic it can be clearly seen that i haven't open the item and it all speaking about the packaging of item . My order number is [protected]
                      Today 28/06/2019 i recieved incomplete order. the order id is [protected]. i have messaging support but they keep ignoring messages.
                      I have ordered a cake from zomato at 27th June 2019 and paid 275 rs through paytm.when I called them up after few minutes they said your number was not rechable that's why order was not received. I requested them to refund money which should be credited within 24-48 hours according to zomato reply but money has not been credited till now.

                        Dear zomato,
                        This is to bring to your kind notice that on 14th june i ordered "spcl non veg thali" with order id : [protected] from lucknow zaika in gaur city 1.

                        The thali sent was not warm which resulted in tasteless food as it was non-veg. I called to the restaurant immediately regarding what he has sent and the restaurant agreed to send me a replacement order. As it was late night (11:00pm) so he said that the restaurant is closed now so next time when i ordered something, he will send me the "thali" along with new order.

                        So on 15th june i ordered "chicken biryani" with order id : not showing now.

                        Your delivery boy (Manish: [protected]) went to the restaurant and picked up chicken biryani but did not pick up "spcl non veg thali".
                        The restaurant called me and said that the rider had forgot to pickup thali so i should call him back.

                        The surprising part starts here :

                        1. The rider refused to return to the restaurant to pick up food even after restaurant and me tried to convince him that he had picked up incomplete order.
                        2. Finally i got the call from customer care who said that the rider was bringing the correct order so i had to explain him the situation that happened last night.
                        3. Instead o[censored]nderstanding the issue, customer care said that he is cancelling the order on my behalf because he cannot force the rider to pick up the order and next time i have to pay the price if "chicken biryani" as well.

                        Being a consumer, first of all i am not getting the replacement thali which restaurant had already agreed to sent and i am being made to pay for "chicken biryani" which was never delivered to me.

                        It should also been taken into consideration that i have ordered food from your app and you provide us phone numbers to us to directly talk to restaurants and it was restaurant who told me to to order chicken biryani so that he can send me thali along with it. Zomato cannot escape with clean hands in this situation.

                        From last 19 day's i have been following through emails and all that zomato is doing is apologizing and regretting for mistake and not giving me refund. You are requested to take this issue on priority and resolve it at the earliest.

                        My Zomato Valet said and I quote "What the ###" he claims to have called me but I clearly didn't get any calls from him. When asked the same he said what the ### and when confronted was extremely rude to me. My order number is #[protected] from Cafe Coffee Day at 11:20PM on 3rd July 2019.
                        I got food burnt and bad quality I chat with zomato on app in support one one reply proper 3 times I try and agent will chat with u shortly and till half n hour no ones there and I ask for my refund back or order same thing again n take that bad food but no reply nothing this is [censored] response.

                          I have ordered my food through zomato, since my network is low the executive couldn't call me and he rejected my order after taking it from the restaurant. I was on the zomato app and i could see nothing regarding this and after half an hour or more i saw that. I was really pissed and repeated my order, burger king served me the same old stale food from my previous order and now zomato says that i don't get any refund as my network was down and the food was wasted

                          I order food from zomato the food is unhiginic and totally spoiled so i request them to replace the order but they didn't replace my order so i tell them for refund but they even Didn't provide me refund so please help me out and provide me my refund from them.
                          I have order the pizza from Domino's and didn't receive any follow back from restaurant or Domino's. Got the pizza very late and that was not hot.

                              As I was ordered through Zomato from one restaurant. After waiting for one hour n when I was called to delivery boy says that his bike was not starting and saying that pls cancel my order by myside and I said no. After few minutes Zomato customer care guy called and forcefully cancelled .
                              I have ordered food from Zomato with the cost of 160 rupees from Bismillah dhaba cafe.. I didn't receive my order but money deducted from my account.. please credit it as soon as possible..

                                Zomato banned my account permanently without giving any proper explanation. The account had over 300 rs zomato credit which I had earned in two days due to wrong delivery of food and uncooked food. Now whenever I try to contact them they just respond with generic message without any proper explanation or proof. I had provided them with clear proofs with images that I had received wrong order or my food was uncooked, after that only they provided me refund in terms of zomato credit. But suddenly when I was going to order the next day my account was gone

                                  I placed my prepaid order and within 2 minutes got a notification via sms that something went wrong with order.

                                  My order was cancelled (dont know by whome)

                                  Customer care executive updated me that money will be refunded in 4-5 working days and later denied.

                                  Zomato is not processing the order nor refunding the entire order amount.

                                    This was my order on 2nd July 2019, I ordered 2 chicken biryani from oasis restaurant but it was not cooked properly and even the packing was not proper so food got spilled all over the cover. We contacted Zomato and they promised refund and Zomato credits and still we have to contact them everyday reminding about the refund. It's not yet credited to my account.

                                    I ordered one death by chocolate from polar bear on 3rd July 2019.Food spillage is a regular issue with this restaurant but apart from that today I got frozen chocolate instead of hot chocolate.I am sure that they have already packed and kept in the refrigerator because and who knows for how long because it tasted differently.

                                      Dear Concerned Team,

                                      This is in regards to order # [protected] and order [protected] dated 2nd July 2019 where both the orders were cancelled due to inability to manage the order by Zomato Operations team which ended up my entire family to cook food at 10:45 PM.

                                      List of Events:

                                      Order NO :[protected]
                                      At 8:30 PM i order food worth INR751.97 from Rahhams against order # [protected]. After an hour i receive a message from saying this order has been cancelled as as delivery boy has met with an accident. What I requested the zomato chat is to send another delivery boy instead of cancelling. He disagreed and requested me to re- order. After a long chat I agreed to re order only if my money will be refunded immediately. Second surprise from ZOmato team is that payment will be refunded after 7 business days. Now I a not getting dinner and my money and only i am at loss. Until now my entire family is hungry and i reordered at 9:30 PM and requested the person i was chatting to look at this order and ensure this reaches me as soon as possible.

                                      At 9:30 PM i re-order food worth INR751.97 from Rahhams against order # [protected] with the same restaurant. At 10 PM i spoke to next delivery person and he says he is at restaurant and at the same time spoke to new chat person he said he will speak restaurant and expedite the order. At 10:01 PM i receive a message from your chat person saying rider has received the order and not to worry. At 10:05 PM i get a call from Zomato customer care telling me that order has been cancelled and requesting me to order the food from other restaurant as restaurant guy is not handing over the order and he bangs the phone.

                                      Later I get a call from restaurant guy and he says "We will not give this order as Zomato has confirmed to pay for first cancelled order". At 10:52 PM my second order has been cancelled for second time with debit in my account for INR751.97 which will be refunded after 7 business days.

                                      My Questions to Zomato :

                                      1. If the staff meets with an accident, do you think i should be receiving call about cancellation or another delivery boy needs to be arranged and payment need to refunded immediately.
                                      2. When i order for second time, isnt it new order with that restaurant? Why was my order not executed by vendor?
                                      3. Please look at my chat conversation - chat guy said its released but it was not.
                                      4. Your call centre guy calls me and in rude tone is asking me to speak to vendor directly or raise complain with Zomato. Why is this person being hired?
                                      5. Why is vendor calling me later saying food will not be delivered? isnt it your team has to resolve such issue or your are an so inefficient that you leave it for customer to resolve?

                                      For both the conversation you have credited 187 credit points each which was another insult to me and my family which was hungry and your team just spoilt the entire evening

                                      Request you to take this escalation seriously and take appropriate action. Refund both the amounts immediately and compensate me with 10 free order worth INR7510 (751.97*10) as a apology note.

                                      I hope your team will honour this claim.
