This is in reference to my order dated 27th june # no. [protected]

The order was not delivered, the runner said he tried calling me, although he did not reach the address i had provided, i was waiting. When i saw the missed call i called back and the runner said zomato cancelled my order because i did not answer the call.

When i tried to contact the support to get the food back they said i have cancelled the order, where as i already paid in full via credit card why will i cancel my order.

I called the restaurant from where the food was ordered they said, it never went back to them.

I tried to locate the zomato centre where the food went back so i could collect it from the centre, i was denied that option saying they won't return it.

This is a ridiculous response if the client who paid in full for the order, delivery of which was not done by the runner, and the client is ready to pick it up from your centre was denied the pick up.

Moreover zomato now conveniently says i have to pay the cancellation charges.

I need the full refund of my order, which was not cancelled by me but by zomato. Also the runner confirms that company cancelled it and not the client.

A prompt response and refund is required in this case.

    I ordered a pizza from dominos through zomato at 2:50pm, paid for it already and then after few minutes got a call from dominos that my pizza will be 45 mins late due to traffic to which i agreed but that was not anywhere mentioned anywhere while placing the order, the pizza arrived after 2 hours at 5:00pm, was tired of calling them and everytime a different person picked up and gave some unbelievable response, they also sent me a bill on my phone with wrong details of food and payment and created a fault in placing my delivery, but didn't accept their fault and only kept lying to me about traffic. They gave reason of traffic but in real my pizza was not even out for delivery due to their fault. I complained to zomato to which they just kept saying that dominos delivery is not under their management its just a delivery platform for them and this is how zomato reacted to my complain plus not even gave me the refund after asking, the food was 2 hours late, i skipped my lunch, what do they expect? Couldn't zomato cancel the order?? It was totally their fault but they chose to respond like this to it, also the dominos employees after frequently getting my calls got angry and speaking in a bad manner with banging their phone to end the call

      I ordered food from zomato { not for the 1st time as well as i have ordered food from the same restaurent several times in the past to the same address which is already registered on zomato.
      A lady called me and said that i have to travel 5 km to collect my order. I denied as it was suposed to be delivered to my house address. She directly said that if you dont come and collect then you will not get refund. I registered a complaint via support. I received a reply saying i changed my address and hence policy is changed so cant get refund. Its a clear case of cheating.
      I have call call recordings and order page screenshots. Its not about money but they are cheating people because i also called the restaurent owner as he knows me due to previous orders made. He said they dont deliver it back to the restaurent

        I have order from fresh n pure in buradi, one red sos pasta and two white but i have cancelled my order within a minute because my address was changed. After cancellation they have charged my full money. They directly told me no to give my money back and even said now ur food preparation gas began and still not delivering my food to previous address.

        If my food preparation has began then at least deliver my food to my previous address. They are charging whole money because food preparation has began and now my food is not even delivering. Simple thing I want my refund if I have cancelled my order due to change in address.

          I placed an order of rs 160 from bismillah dhaba cafe with zomato. Money deducted but didn't received the order. Please respond at the earliest to the my complaint against the zomato food based company.. I tried to call zomato customer care number was not connected... Please credit my balance as soon as possible.. Even with my colleagues also same thing happened still we believed and placed order it's a waste app..

            Sir,
            These people are refund my money since 11th june (The day when i ordered the food).
            But i don't know how i haven't received any of it yet.
            Everytime i contact them they tell me to wait for another 4-5 days or 24-48 hours (The same thing that they are taught).
            Now what i don't get is how is it even possible that they started initiating my refund since 11th of june, then in enquired about it on 19th june, then 20th then 26th and then 28th where everyone of them said to trust them and this is the last time when i am facing this issue. But now i am fed up with what they are doing to me. It has been 5 times when they tell me to trust them and be patient till the date they give me.
            Everytime i get a new date and then i wait for the date to come and i receive nothing.
            The amount that is to be refunded is not a very big amount though but it was never about the amount.
            Every single penny is worth something.
            Please help me

              At 10:31 pm i ordered my food from subway using zomato.. The time for delivery was 30 min, after 30 min i called the guy and asked him where is he since his location was very far from restaurant. He told his gps is not working but he is at the restaurant and also he asked whether the amount bus already been paid or not. Payment was done through paytm... After that i got notification that my order has been delivered. I called delivery guy almost 25-30 times he didn't pick my call... No zomato customer chat response.

                  Order ids [protected] & [protected] i placed order two times, paid in advance, person did not put good effort to deliver it, did not contact, cancelled the order, charged me full amount and went back with food.
                  I am sure if it was not paid in advance they would try to deliver it but since they did not have to wait for payment, they just scammed me.

                    I am waiting for my refund for past 9 days. It is disgusting. You guys told me to mail you my concerns and you will solve the problem. But i believe you don't have the time to reply as well. I have heard a lot from you guys now. Now its hard to believe you guys. I am going to tweet about zomato and give worst feedback. And advice new customers not to install zomato. You guys don't know how to maintain your customers.

                      A month ago i ordered food from zomato, and paid 141, but food was terrible, the roti was uncooked and the paneer litearlly had 2 peices of paneer in it, that's why i complained about the restaurant, even after arguing for many hours, nearly 3 times, they did not refund my money, and that night zomato blocked all my account, when i mailed them they said that they are unable to unblock it again. I know why they blocked my account, one of zomato executive abused me and gave stupid arguments instead of resolving my issue, he asked me for dowry for god's sake?!, when i complained about him to other executive, they blocked my all accounts instead of taking action against them. Shame on zomato.

                        It's really disgusting that i'm writing this to you.

                        Just want to tell you that i'm really fed up with your facilities and your delivery boy's.
                        They just manipulate us with no reason.

                        I've order at 9 pm on 21 june
                        My order id is [protected].

                        After 10 minutes delivery boy told me that due to some reason he reached my place in extra 15..20 minutes..
                        I said no problem.. Just come.
                        But after 1 hour the same guy told that i've delivered the order..
                        Like this is rely bad.

                        You're hiring person like this..

                        Today I ordered food using zomato app and transferred money .But money get transferred to atom technology.Now the zomatoapp is showing that payment status is incomplete and we don't get our food.pls refund our money.

                          So some of the items from my order (On 20 june) were missing. I reported to customer care, and they mentioned the amount will be refund, and asked me to order again.
                          However its 28th june, and still it is not processed.

                          On speaking with customer care, they mentioned it will be processed by july 1st, and after that maybe few more days for bank to process it.

                          Why does zomato's process take 5-7 working days to process a refund???
                          This is unacceptable!

                            I have placed order on june 22, 2019 and app has picked wrong location which was my office location. After order has been placed (Order id - [protected]), i noticed that it has been ordered on my office address.

                            Then i called to the restaurant phone number which was incorrect so i spoke to delivery guy then he suggested me to come and pick the order from the location.

                            After 2 minutes of ordering he cancelled my order without consulting me also i haven't received any refund then i spoke with zomato chat/call executive then she suggested me to e-mail. They told that as per new policies for the customers which include that if the order gets canceled due to the wrong user address then a cancellation charge is levied since the food was already prepared.

                            Aiso, i was agreed to pick my order from the location, then why the delivery guy cancelled my order, i never told him to cancel it. All this incident happened just in 2 minutes then you can prepare food within 2 minutes.

                            I never expected such kind of behavior from zomato executive and their support team. They are completely careless about their services and employee.

                            You have lost your one customer.

                              I akanksha vora. I have ordered cake on 23 june and it was cancelled due to location problem and my amount still not refunded. Moreover zomato is not receiving my call and not responding about my complains. It's not about the money but they are not responding which is very unethical. Their customer support is always offline. Where else they are not attending calls.

                              Dear team, I am your gold member since 2 yrs. Last zomato order I have to cancel as I am new to bhubneswar with my in laws and Your zomato Staff didn't cooperate. Now in my new order they are adding extra charges. Kindly delete my previous order cost. It is very unprofessional that zomato people cheating people like this.

                                This is regarding my order on 27th jun at 6.41 pm, i have ordered 6 pizza and 3 garlic bread. Your delivery boy called me at 7.29 and 7.30 pm, due to network problem he was not able to hear me, then i called back him at 7.32, 7.38, 7.39 pm, but unable to connect.
                                I checked on app, it says that the delivery was cancelled as he was unable to reach me. Then i immediately did a chat with one of your staff as you do not have option to call back, i requested to send my order, but no help was given, he told me that i will not get refund also as it was my mistake.

                                -this is the first thing i have ever heard that customer will not get any refund if he/she does not pick up or miss the call.
                                -secondly your delivery boy called me twice at 7.29 and 7.30 pm, and it is very shocking that within 2 minutes when i checked the app, my order was cancelled and your staff who is sitting in office says that he has waited for 15 mins.
                                -as you have already received the payment in advance, your attitude towards your duty was casual... What if somebody does cash on delivery,, then it will be different..
                                -this is really disgusting and disappointing as you people have spoiled our yesterday's party
                                -earlier also we have seen on other websites that your delivery boys had customer's food
                                -this is way you are earning money... Just call twice and then cancel the order, i was tracking your delivery boy from starting, when he called he haven't reached laxmi nagar. We have done so many online bookings and order but haven't seen this attitude earlier.

                                This is disgusting. I need my refund back

                                  We placed an order rs. 410/-with zomato. Money deducted but can't received the order. Please respond at the earliest to the my complaint against the zomato food based app. This app providing cheap customer services to the customer... This waste app. Zomato customer care number was not connected... I refer my friends to not instal the app. If my friends already using the app then i would refer to delete the app

                                    I have order a food from zomato (Delhi) . From one more bite restaurant of RS 145.
                                    On 27june2019. After few minutes of order I got a call from delivery boy to guide the location.. but he is unavailable to find location.. I also what's app him my location.. but he said that my location is different that show in GPS .. he refused to deliver my food on my location.. as zomato cc service also support him not to deliver AND even zomato also refuse to refund my money. As the delivery boy is so rude aND missbehaving. And I almost daily order food on the same address... But this Never happend with me. And now they are not even responding to my chat..

                                      I ordered from a restaurant in Bengaluru named Cake Zone as a birthday present for my friend. Order id [protected] dated 25 June. I entered the address as follows :
                                      201-01, Colive Canberra,
                                      5th Main Road, Abbaappa Layout, Stage 2nd, BTM 2nd Stage

                                      After some time I recieved a message that a rider has been assigned for my order. The rider called me and told me I have entered a wrong address. Here I would like to bring out that I was using the zomato website for placing the order with no option of other than specifying the address for delivery. I made my friend call him ( who actually stays in that address ), but he rudely said address is wrong and disconnected the phone on her face. I called him again however he did not pick up my call.
                                      After two minutes I recieve a call from a customer care agent, a lady stating that my address is wrong. And that when he navigated to the address, he is at the correct location( as per address) but cannot deliver since address is wrong. I cannot gather that when I have clearly mentioned the address, what is the confusion and he is claiming he is at the correct location however he kept diaconnecting the call and not even listening at all. Same was the case with the customer care agent.
                                      This is not only disappointing but a big question mark on the service of zomato. It is not about the money or refund, but how your riders/ customer care respond to orders placed.
                                      Can assigining a new rider not be a solution.
                                      Could he not talk to my friend for a minute and may be she would have guided him correctly. Or rather would have met him and taken the order
                                      Or rather the customer care agent tried to recheck with the rider and clarify the confusion.
                                      But it seemed, the rider was just not interested in delivering the order.
                                      I need a clarification on subject matter from the manager whoever looks after public grievances failing which I will file a complaint on the appropriate channel.

                                        working with restaurants to deliver unhygienic food & deleting poor reviews

                                        I placed an order with Zomato for a local Subway wrap. The food was poorly packed, without any proper outside covering and exposed to touch in this hot and humid weather.
                                        Any contaminants on the delivery boys hands, and the bag he placed the food in, must have definitely been transferred to the food.
                                        When I complained they simply refunded my money, deleted my review, and changed the order status to declined. I realized Zomato...
