I received different and smelling chicken food and zomato is not responding. Restaurant itself agreed for the refund but zomato is making me fool and looting my money. I want my money back. Indirectly cheating me.
Chicken was smelling raw and rice was different.
Zomato is supposed to refund my money
Ordered items : ghee rice non veg combo

    I had placed an order from Rolls King through Zomato Order Number: [protected], Amount: ₹326.15.1 dated: 04/22/2019 and paid through paytm. I never received my order at my doorstep nor did I receive any call from them. When I checked the order status, it said 'Rejected'. I called zomato support via chat and they said that my phone was not reachable and thereby the order got rejected and they've charged me a cancellation fee. I can see nothing in the order history of that sort.

    This was a complete lie as my phone was always contactable and they're supposed to deliver the order at my doorstep nor through phone. When I called Rolls King, they were helpless and asked me to contact zomato again as the delivery boy was from zomato. The delivery boy was no where to be found. I have been moving from pillar to post by this fiasco with no fault of mine.

    Please look into the matter.

        Complaint of non registrations of vehicle as commercial vehicle being used by zomato.
        That i want to make aware your goodself that certain unlawful illegal activities are being done by the above said zomato and rules and norms are being violated by the company causing financial loss and help loss to the public at large.

        Company requires registrations of the vehicle as commercial which are use for deliver the food but the company ask their employee /delivery boy to use his own vehicle for the said commercial purpose and the vehicles used in this purpose are private vehicle due to which financial loss occur to the govt. As registration of the commercial one is requires certain tax to be deposit with the govt which are not being paid by the company to the concerned department.

        It is also mention here that these companies are not conducting the medical examination of the persons appointed as delivery boys before their appointment which is mendatary requirement for the company to conduct the medical examination of the employee as per the act to avoid the transmittabble disease which can transmit to the customers from the delivery boy.

          My order went to a different address and the driver refused to come 1.5kms from there to the correct location. He asked rs.50 extra above the charges that i had already paid and when i refused he took the food and left and zomato did not even give me my money back. The customer support is not helpful at all and they gave the delivery guy a choice to deliver my food or not and he clearly said that he is not going to come anywhere.

            Zomato is fooling people.stop buying from them. I ordered special hyd veg briyani. Zomato charged me 220+30 delivery charge. Total 250.
            When order received, invoice of 195 including delivery charge. When contacted customer support Anurag, he tried to fool me first then started saying sorry when he found that it's there's mistake. He refused to give his Full name and his manager name as well. I have attached the invoice and zamoto bill for your reference.

            Zomato is charging more than restaurant's and giving discounts to fool people where you end up in paying more even after availing discount code.

                Hi team,

                Zomato has charged me an amount of 225 for an order i had to be cancelled ([protected]).

                There chat was hung and it only asked me if i need to cancel and i said yes. Later, i see that the chat says that they are keeping full money paid of 225 as a penalty since, i cancelled my order.

                I tried to explain that this bit of information never pop'd up on my screen and i only selected two options i. E cancel my order and reason and this information was not available for me to view that time.

                They denied my refund and said you have read this on the chat and i said im not a fool to cancel an order and pay the money paid as a charity to zomato or merchant for something i never got.

                Zomato denied help. I asked to escalate further and they denied that too and they have swallowed all my cash and are neither willing to deliver my order nor refund my cash.

                I need a response.

                Hi Team,

                I have received an email from someone named Raman, who claims to be working with consumer forum and his email address is: raman.[protected]@rediffmail.com and his phone number is [protected].

                He said he will pay the refund to any goverment bank issued card and I informed him that I dont hold any goverment bank accounts and he said its okay, if this is one of family members account too so, I agreed to share the bank account i.e. card details of a family member. I provided him with the card and expiry date and he was persistant on getting the CVV number, which I refused to as, Im a bank employee myself and I'm aware that no one needs the card's CVV number to process refunds.

                I told him im not comfortable and he said its for security and I informed him that the number he is calling from is a cell phone number and not a recorded line and email received too is from a rediff email address but, this chap claimed to be working with consumer forum so, ive refused to share the other details and disconnected the call.

                Kindly advise if the person calling is genuine employee of consumer forum and why do you guys need my card's CVV number for processing refund?

                I would rather receive a refund directly to my paytm account as, all my bank details are already connected to it or would be comfortable, if I can receive some intimation that this is the protocol followed for processing refunds and that my bank details are secured.

                Please advise!

                  I had made an order through somato on 04 april 2019. But restaurant didn't accepted the order. Then i got a message from somato that " we had initiated a refund against your order and it will reflect in your account in 2-7 working days.
                  But still i did not received the payment. So i request you to do the needful so that i can get the money as soon as possible.

                    To day i have issue in last 2 order
                    Sevens last order auto decline when i check the status of delivery. Already i was late for dinner. Again i mark one more order. Which was 45 mint late due to delivery boy have multiple booking. After when he came at my door step. He is on bike without same to food box. He just hang on bike handle and. He said sir packing not good that by my pant also get dirty. It was with cold drink.. It have decline the open or damage order. After few minte he has marked deliver.. How can he do such kind of fraud.

                    Zamato unprofessional team has spoiled my sunday my wife take only veg i order for her. She has not taken dinner. It is worst experiance.
                    I also try so many time in [protected] on that no but he did not my call. Kindly investigate on urgent bases. Kindly stand your delivery boy i will treat my way. Call me urgent on [protected]

                      This is regarding an order that I placed with zomato through zomato app today at 8:31 PM order ID:[protected]. I received first call from the delivery guy at 9:18 PM and last call at 9:24 PM after which he cancelled the order since I was not able to pick up his call. At exact 9:29 PM, I called the delivery guy to ask him where he was. I apologized to the guy upfront as it was my mistake I was not able to attend his call. He responded so rudely to me and then said "mere ko sorry kehne ki zarurat nahi hai, pehle toh phone nahi uthati aur fir sorry mangti hai. Meine order wapis kar diya hai, ab jo karna hai kar. Customer support pe baat kar." I told that guy that I am apologizing to you and you are misbehaving. He said, "dont talk to me, talk to customer support." This guy just waited for 5 minutes and cancelled my order.

                      There are so many times when a person could be busy somewhere else. I have a sick patient at my home and I was attending her. And I called him back just after 5 minutes of receiving his last call. When he had my complete address, why didn't he come to the address and delivered the order.

                      There are so many times that i just ignore the lack in services of zomato. Twice I was delivered wrong order and several times the order is so much delayed that it's cold. I bring this to their notice through complaints so many times through zomato's chat support but in vain. They just apologize and say that it will not happen again. I just ignore and do not escalate it.

                      But this time, I lost my patience after the delivery guy responded so rudely. I would request you to kindly take necessary action against this company. Their service is worst and day by day it is getting horrible.

                      Your prompt response will be appreciated.

                        Thats not promotional amount and why zomato add on zomato credit?

                            I have ordered food on zomato and paid thr money through paytm of 162 rs but the order is cancelled due to thechnical error. When i asked about that money they are harassing me. Its been 24 hrs still i didn't got the money. Zomato is a commercial company which cheats customers for money

                                Yesterday i ordered from zomato and tried to pay through card. One payment showed incomplete so tried to pay again. My two payments were deducted of 111rs. Total 222rs were deducted but still no order placed. Chat assistant talks so rudely. Not even listening me properly. My one amount of 194rs were deducted before 12days which is not returned yet. Now how to get refund from this zomato?

                                  I was given a list of restaurants available in my area and after order been placed it was accepted and valet was also assigned to me. After all these the order was canceled without any intimation to me and i came to know about the following when i contacted my valet to enquire about my delayed order delivery. And the customer care is saying that there valet was not available for delivering but when i spoke to the valet he responded that the order was cancelled only from their management side and he had nothing to do with it

                                    Dear sir
                                    I have made advance payment for my order of shrikhand through zomato application. After one hour their customer care calls me that your order is cancelled. When i asked them about reason, no appropriate answer was given. And also they said if amount will get refunded, it may tak 7-8 working days.
                                    My concern is that if they are unable to complete order they should have intimated me early so that i could order from other restaurants and also they were rude in call.

                                    Please took it as serious concern and i want early action upon this matter.

                                      I order an item my money got successfully deducted but zomato failed to process it. I contacted representative they said you will receive money within 48 hours its been a while and there is no sign of refund i checked my upi paytm status it was successfully paid but zomato app completely decline of receiving money looked like some kind of bug in the app this could have been resolved by refunding but here's how it goes second time chatting with dumb zomato representative iam attaching screenshot for your reference

                                        Hi team,

                                        I am mohit, i have seen an offer on a restaurant called 'taco ice cream'and offer name was bogo but while i open that restaurant there is no bogo tag on any item.

                                        So, i contacted to zomato chat support and my chat got started with an executive but that person was not able to help me.

                                        I asked my issue to that person and he/she asked me to share a screenshot for the same.

                                        When i clicked on camera icon it was not showing me an option to go to gallery to select that screenshot.

                                        Then i informed the same to that person and then he/she asked me that zomato does not have that option to take attachments.

                                        It feels like that person was making fun of me.

                                        After that i asked then why did u asked me to share the screenshot then he/she did not replied back for around 15 minutes.

                                        This is such a harassment of a customer from a brand support side.

                                        I need a resolution for the same and i want a strict action to be taken for that or i want compensation for that harassment.

                                        I have also shared 2 attachments for the same.

                                        One if that offer and another one is in which that agent did not replied me for more than 15 minutes.
