I regularly order food on zomato. Whwenevr if any order is incorrect or incomplete or spillage issue i used to report it with a photo in zomato app's customer care chat. If they feel it appropriate, they would refund. After quite some complaints from about the orders they have blocked my account due to suspicious activity. Suspicious activities are complaining about multiple orders. Yes, i have complained because zomato or the restaurant service listed on the app have failed to pack it correctly or send correct order. Instead of taking the feedback positively they have blocked me from ordering anymore. I have written mails to them asking to unblock my account after reviewing my complaints. If there's anything that i complaint wrong then yes let me know and block. But all of sudden the blocked my account and refusing to review the complaints atleast. If i'm doing any suspicious activities why don't they review my complaints and then if there's anything not legitimate don't unblock the account.

    Hello,
    I just placed an order in kfc basavanagudi, bangalore. Amount got debited from my account but order is not placed.

    I used phonepe to for this transaction. As soon as my order wasn't placed i raised ticket in phonepe and they reverted back that it's merchant that is zomato error

    Can you please refund money back to my account.
    Im very disappointed as regular customer of zomato. I also tried to raise support using zomato application but it's too slow and wasn't possible

      Today i ordered fried rice and tandoori from zomato the order was not confirmed but money deducted from bank account. I report to the customer service but they are saying they dont recieve payment the payment got stuck in gateway.
      I want to know when will my get refunded and or this incident im bit worried.
      Plz help with my complaint as amount deducted is not small.

          I am writing this to inform about an recent order that I placed with Zomato.
          My order was returned stating that the delivery boy was not able to reach out and my phone was not answered in time.
          The matter of the fact is since the order was placed with exact address details where the food needs to be delivered. The delivery person did not even make an attempt to find the house and deliver. Instead he kept on telling that my number is not reachable and returned the food to the restaurant (Not sure how true is that). When I contacted Zomato customer care, they replied with the standard automated reply stating as below. Please see the complete conversation detail as below

          "Hi There,

          We regret for a delayed response.

          As per our records, your order was cancelled because we were not able to connect with you. Our logistics team and support team tried to contact you but the calls were not answered.

          Due to this issue, a cancellation fee has been levied equivalent to the order value and we won't be able to refund the same.

          Feel free to reach out to us in case of any queries / suggestions.

            The services are worse than pathetic food delivered doesnt even look edible anymore and the picture would do as an evidence to the more than poor services provided by the this company. The food was delivered in a way where it isnt even recognisable the delivery persons attitude to add to it. He was rude and arrogant. It sums it all that the services provided by them is pathetic and poor.

              I m working in zomato as a runner partner in area karnal haryana.
              My issue is the company is hiering boys in bulk and orders provided by company is not fullfill.. If is the new comer comes the maximum orders gone to him the old runner partners are facing less orders.. Why this... I want a solution. I m coming to earn money not to sit free or watching faces of the people in front of me...

                I had complained for past 2 orders where the meat i received was bad, i took photos of the uncooked meat and requested zomato for help for which they responded 'we will get back to you' after 2 days i got a refund if 45rs for a burger costing more than 100rs and the best part is that day night my account got blocked, the reasons for subsequent order complaint.

                Zomato customer care is to actually help people, but look at what happened. Also due to this i am not able to use my zomato gold membership for which i had to pay an amount.

                This is not at all reasonable and in case my account won't be unblocked, i'm seeking a refund for the money i paid for the zomato gold membership

                  I ordered a pizza on zomato which came with a pubic hair on it. On reporting to zomato. The customer care representative named rizwana failed to provide me with a refund for the highly unacceptable food that was delivered. They ate trying to rip off people with their unfair refund policy. This has to stop now. The refund policy has to be changed to provide with a refund.

                    I orderd and got money deducted.. I have confirmed with f n p cake allahabad that is my order confirmed or not but they said they did nt get the order. I just tried to customer care but they did nt respond. I m realy feeling helpless.. Now i m complaining with consumer complaint. So tgat i vmcan get my refund with this i hopw this will work in getting my money back

                      This is the case that happened today in d morning, i ordered burger online from burger king through zomato, order no:[protected] werin i payed my amount online, and ws waiting for my order to come, suddenly a msg comes up saying, dat we could not deliver your order since your number was not reachable, as soon as i got this message i chatted on zomato i took d delivery guys number, had a word with him to deliver d parcel at my place, but he refused saying your order is cancelled for refund u need to speak to zomato team and disconnected my call, n zomato also refused to repay.. Now d question arises we're is d money and food gone... I seriously need to know about it... And get my money back..

                        I ordered a pizza from domino's order number is [protected]. I have paid by my debit card the amount 341 rs. They do not provide delivery at my location which is 118 royal paam treasure fantasy cat road indore. So i cancelled the order now i am not getting refund back. I am calling to the customer care number but they are not answering also the app shows that the order has been delivered. Can you help me with this.

                          This order was not delivered but the amount was already charged and refund also denied.
                          I kept calling the delivery executive multiple times but the number was always in waiting or busy. After that when i checked on the order status through zomato chat, i was told that order was not delivered because my number was not reachable as reported by the delivery executive. After requesting multiple times, zomato executives denied the refund as this was against their policy. They neither helped to get the food delivered nor they initiated the refund.

                          This is pathetic and very disappointing as i kind of order food daily from zomato and this is how zomato treats their gold customers. My number is always is network and available. I was calling the delivery executive multiple times but could not reach him. This is serious fault from the delivery executive side and he reported that my number was not reachable. And zomato cannot do anything on this and denied the refund as per their policies.
                          If not refund, they could have tried to deliver the food again when i checked. They didn't do that as well.

                          I request to kindly take action against this and request to refund the order amount asap.

                            Hi, I have ordered in Zomato, order details are below. It is 10.15pm now, more than 1.5 hours done, still the order is not delivered. I have contacted customer care, but there is no valid response. They told to stay connect and telling that order will be reached in 10 mins for last 1 hour. I asked them to cancel the order, but they told order can't be cancelled and the amount cant be refunded. Looks like I paid the money and ordered the food for the Zomato delivery boy. Very poor customer support.

                              I placed an order on zomato of rs 466.20. I made the transaction via google pay but it failed thrice and amount got deducted on the third attempt. On google pay it is showing transaction completed and paid to zomato. But on zomato app there is not mention of such transaction. Will you pleased refund the amount as soon as possible or atleast provide me the guarantee that it will be refunded within the certain amount.

                              I had ordered 2 cakes from baker square and paid via paytm because i was entitled to a 40% cashback upto Rs 150. now the zomato representative is saying that the promo code was not applied .
                              Its been 72 hours i have not received my Paytm cashback
                              I ordered meal (Chaitanya Paratha) from Zomato and delivered something like rice plate. The Chaitanya Paratha is only famous for Paratha so that was the reason of my order. I tried to reach-out them for corrections but couldn't get proper response. May i know the root cause of this mistake?

                                How can you not refund the amount when the order was placed by accident? This is not the way to behave with your customers who are placing orders everyday. Sometimes we forget to add the promo code to the offer and with that the product is ordered. I requested you to refund the amount or you will be reciving for unhappy customers in the upcoming future.

                                  The taxes and charges differs when the 50% off coupon is added. Why do zomato provide such an offer if they are again charging the same.

                                  I have attached screenshots that shows the difference between the taxes and charges with and without coupon applied!

                                  Seems like zomato is trying to be smart by offering useless coupons!

                                  Never ever will use zomato again!!!

                                    This is in regards to my order number [protected] placed on jan 27th, 2019 placed at orange wok [chennai]. This order was cancelled by delivery person as he was not able to reach me on my mobile number.

                                    First of all, i have an order history of more than 40 and never have faced this problem and i am completely disappointed by what has happened.

                                    The delivery person has called me thrice, i was standing outside my home waiting for my order [had kept my phone in my home]. Since it was taking a while, i picked up my phone to see 3 missed calls and spontaneously gave ring back and got an update that my order was cancelled.

                                    Now to explain about the timeline, i received 3 calls continuously and i had called back in 5 mins to be precise.

                                    Total wait time = 3 mins + 5 mins that is not even 10 mins of your time. [ please refer my screenshot]

                                    In 10 mins when i had returned the call, the delivery person mentioned that he had left and he cancelled the order. If i am right, in 5 mins he wouldn't have crossed the main road from my place.

                                    Please also note that, i was standing just outside my house and i saw no delivery person during my wait time.

                                    Also, my order has the address mentioned and i do not understand why the order never came near my house or even if they had claimed to have arrived why wasn't the door bell never called out.

                                    To my surprise, this was called a penalty and i had to incur full loss of my payment and the food.

                                    My lunch was also cancelled as it was too late to order another one.

                                    I have never had such worst experience in any of the food delivery services and i duly need a detailed response on my query and pay my loss.

                                    I had spoke with the zomato chat assistants twice and not even once was the user apologetic rather he was sarcastic enough to educate me on how to answer my calls.

                                    I do not think this is how a service needs to be provided nor have i ever experienced anything this tragic in my experience.!

                                    After cancelled the order no refunds and on chat taking approval for it and I am usually say yes that I am understanding that they are asking thatI have not get refund till now and they have not any customers care telephone and only chat and everyone can not understand everything

                                      But when the delivery boy came, he took cash from us. Basically we had to pay double for the food.
                                      We said it was online payment but he didn't agree and said that the payment wasn't processed so we have to pay in cash.

                                      I have ordered the food from AL Jami but unfortunately when we paid the amount through debit card... Money got deducted.. It has happened on 30/1/2019..and 120 rs has deducted.. But I didn't get the money back... Kindly.. Refund the money.

                                        I have ordered food on saturday from 9280 (Allahabad) zomato. But due to incorrect adress it got cancelled. When i talked with customer care, they said ur refund will be initiated. But next day i get a message that ur refund cannot be processed. So why zomato is spreading wrong information.
                                        I[censored] guys have said that time only i would have collected the order from restaurant.
                                        I had a terrifying experience with u guys.
                                        So give me my refund.
