I had ordered some food from cafe frespresso, patia, bhubaneshwar on 5th october '18. The zomato employee named biswajit rout delivered the food and i paid him in cash but he did not return the change at that time and promised to return in some time to give back the change.
I called him that night but he did not come. I even called him yesterday morning and he said he would come in some time and give me the change but he did not.
Today it's 7th october and i called him few moments ago but he does not pick up my call now.
This behaviour is really disappointing by zomato and they should really give employment to trustworthy people. It's not even so much about the money, he was rude as well and said it was my fault i did not provide him with change and that he was not a courier guy to keep change with him all the time.

      Ordered food (Order number - [protected]) not delivered till more than two hours from time of ordering. No call or sms from zomato. I kept calling the delivery person. He didn't respond. Finally responded and quoted that order address is wrong. When i explained the address, he says that he is coming and then after some time cancels the order. Pre-payment was done through net-banking. Upon lodging complaint through customer service, no details of refund given and no complaint number given. Instead i get to hear from the customer service executive that i am facing inconvenience because of myself. Horrific experience. This company is looting the customers. Had i not made an pre-payment, they would have never cancelled the order without any intimation to me. Thugs operating here in the name of e-commerce. Even after a day, there is no response from zomato that why a pre-paid order was cancelled without any intimation to the customer.

        I ordered ([protected]) food from zomato they delayed the order by 2hours after that i got a mail order delivered without even giving the food to me and their support doesn't even respond this a robbery they are doing they first take the amount and dont even bother to deliver not lisren to customer as their agenda is completed. Their registration should be suspended

          I ordered one burger with french fries from smoque burger restaurant using zomato app. I paid full money. My expected food delivery time was 1.51am and its 02.20am, sill i haven't got my order.
          I called them so many times but nobody answering the call. I want my money back with penalty. You waited a patient for long time without any prior notice. If you can't deliver order on time, you should not take it.
          You people harrassed me mentally a lot.

            I ordered food online from zomato at 12:20 am, which i should get in around 40-50 mins. That was not possible by zomato. And on top of it, when i called the restaurant they were ignorant towards the matter that it has been a long time since i placed my order.
            I received my order at around 1:50 am, and that to wrong order. Not the one i ordered. Quality of food was third class, when i ate it, it was like as if prepared 2 days before. It was really ridiculous to be honest.

              My order number id is [protected], sir, i had ordered chicken biryani from paradise restaurant this afternoon but biryani had very bad quality. I did not eat biryani, it was so bad that i ordered order from the regular paradise, but today is so bad quality, i never expect from paradise restaurant. Because paradise biryani is always love it but today so bad quality. I also talk to zomoto customer care after delivery but he not talk with restaurant he told me send a mail, so please sir concern my problem and please do something. Please take action my money is totally waste

                I am a zomato gold user and my membership id is 693185 and it is valid upto 6th oct. 2019 but suddenly zomato disabled/blocked my account so that i cannot use my zomato gold membership i purchased gold membership at 1200 rupees on 6th october 2018 and there is no helpline number for zomato gold users or zomato users they are not responding for any calls and i also mailed to them on [protected]@zomato.com but there is no response regarding my issue and also chatted in zomato chat support but they are not giving proper reply to me and saying different different stories everyday i was mailing them from past 1day but no use, please help me

                  Few days ago i ordered from zomato and the food delivered to me was poorly packed and badly handled during delivery and hence got spilled pretty badly. I sent an email to zomato with pictures of my order to avail a refund. At first zomato refused the refund. The following day zomato blocked my account and has been unresponsive to my emails ever since. I requested a call back, and wrote numerous emails to which they have not responded. This is clearly a way for zomato to run away from paying me the refund.

                    Hi,

                    On 30th sep 2018 around 6pm my paytm account got charged by rs 162 for order id ztd1853e9ca36e698552.
                    This is a rogue order placed by some hacker using zomato account.
                    This order was unduly charged to my paytm account.
                    I have written 3 mails to zomato team, ad not even single one got responded.
                    Please can someone help this investigate.
                    I m sure zomato must hold all the relevant details around location of delivery of order, and hence person initiating internet fraud is easily traceable.

                      When i opened the zomato app today i received the message like this as below.

                      "online ordering services has been disabled to this account due to suspicious behaviour."

                      I think this has been done in error because i'm the regular customer to you and been ordering food for so many times.
                      I really appreciate your service towards the customers.
                      I do not follow or order food online from other apps except zomato.
                      I'm really upset for the account being blocked.
                      Please look at it once.
                      Hoping that my account will be able to order food soon.

                        Zomato failed to deliver the order stating that the address was wrong and refused to refund the amount. I think this is a ploy by Zomato to make some dirty money. My order page showed the correct address. In fact we had received an order from Zomato to the correct address just the previous day.

                        This was the first instance where Zomato delivery executive claimed that the map directed him to some other place and that it was too far away for him to backtrack to the correct address. To make things worse the customer care executive suggested that I pay the delivery boy 30 Rs extra in order to get the food delivered. I refused to pay since Rs 34 was already paid by me as 'Delivery Charges' at the time of billing. This is when the customer care person proceeded to cancel the order and told me that the amount cannot be refunded. I asked for his name but he said he cannot divulge such information. Such a pathetic joke.

                        Imagine Zomato pulling off such a stunt with hundreds of customers throughout the country everyday and making extra money. I've decided never to order from Zomato again.

                          I like your app to use for order delivery from various sites and shop sitting at home. But today means 6 oct i order veg noodles and veg soup. But what i get a insect in soup.!!! What a hell is this, can i order a insect soup i'm am not from china whom order a non veg soup. And the noodles are worst i taste ever are like reserve food of other customers who gone after eat and the shop keeper packed the same to us nor hot nor taste. Why you can't block this type of shops who get such ridiculous rating or views

                            I ordered food in zomato on 30/09/2018 with order no. [protected] and the food received is over roasted and unable to eat and immediately i called to restaurant and asked for refund but they are not ready to refund total amount and i sent an email 4 days back to zomato explaining this issue and they responded like only 25% of the order money will get refunded. Then i sent another email to zomato about why they are not ready to refund 100% money as the problem is with the merchant and they served unhealthy food and till now no response from zomato on this.

                              My order has been cancelled on 20th september, 2018 because of some technical issues... And sms was received regarding the refund... Still i have not received any refund for the same.. Order id is [protected]... Please grant me my refund.. Or else provide me with another order... Its very bad experience with zomato...                                 On 2nd oct, i had ordered for a cake from gingerbread chennai for rs.1060.00 paid via credit card. The vendor refused the order because of incorrect online price which does not include gst. When contacted the vendor they confirmed that they have zomato to delist them but zomato hasn't addressed it yet due to which customers like me end up ordering. However i got an sms from zomato stating the order has been accepted. When i visited the order history menu surprisingly the order was not getting listed. I have emailed to [protected]@zomato.com with all details, cc'ed vendor too but no response yet from zomato. I want zomato to initiate investigate and resolve the issue. Until then i am not going to use zomato for ordering my food.

                                  I had order dominoz pizza, my order id is: [protected], amounting 705.0 my order was cancelled saying it out of area, and said they will refund in 7 days. But i haven't got any money its 3 weeks now. On same day i contacted tomato live chat but they said they need 3 days and gave me dominoes number, i contacted them asked on the status they told me they have initiated and also sent me the screenshot. Informed the same to tomato but they told me they need another 3 days after 3 days i contacted again and told me they will do something in 3 days haven't got any money still. Do you believe in customer satisfaction?
                                  I don't think so so i am going to file a case. This was just to inform you guys the same. Through website.

                                    I ordered a sitafal milk shake from 'the yellow straw' through the food delivery app zomato on 3 October 2018. While drinking the shake, a piece of broken glass came into my mouth. Shocked at this, i emptied the bottle into a utensil to discover another piece of glass (before which i was using the straw provided by the restaurant).

                                    I wrote a complaint on zomato's "report safety emergency" section on its website immediately. I thought this would be their quickest and most proper response tool and the incident fits in the category of safety emergency.

                                    I waited till the next evening (4th oct) but did not receive any response. So i contacted the regular customer care chat and mentioned about the whole episode and how i was still awaiting response from zomato. The shocking reply I received was "That is really unfortunate. However, we are unable to resolve this issue since it's come too late for us to carry out any effective verification of it, from our end"

                                    How is it late? I wrote a complaint to their so called safety emergency segment immediately. Infact they dont even claim not to have received my complain. When should have i complained before receiving the order? N if complaining on the so called safety emergency section has no meaning, why keep such a misguiding thing?

                                    If i had accidentally consumed the glass piece, it could have had severe consequences for me. This is the safety standard of the restaurant the yellow straw and the responsibility standard of zomato.

                                      I ordered some food @ 1.30pm recieved the notification that i will get it at 2.10 i had a meeting to attend @ 2 because of which i requested to cancel the order the chat process guy told me thet the order will not be cancelled but it was not even comformed i was still okay now the delivery boy did not come till 2.30 when i called him his response was its raining when i requested him to come quick that person started abusing now filled up a form to complain in response to which i got a call from zomato who disconnected the call in between now the delivery boy refused to come as o asked him to deliver food just 100 m away and the order was cancelled now i missed my meeting lost the mone and didnt get the food as well! Not only a scam but harassment to people

                                        Ordered lunch yesterday at around 2:30 pm from backstreet kitchen, noida. I went by the ratings which were 4.1 and ordered one full paneer butter masala, 2 butter naan and 2 laccha parathas.
                                        After receiving the order and opening the food, there was a foul smell which came from the onion salad. It was because those were vinegar onions and were not at all fresh.
                                        After opening the paneer dish and consuming it with the breads, my friend and i realised that the gravy of the paneer was not fresh. We stopped consuming it immediately as the taste was awful. After smelling it, there was very little foul smell, maybe because the dish was not fresh or something.
                                        After stirring it with a spoon, we realised that there were only 3-4 pieces of paneer in it.
                                        I immediately opened the zomato app asking the customer executive to tell the restaurant to come and pick up the dish. Those guys told me that i would be receiving a mail from another team for the same.
                                        Its been more than 24 hours since i’ve sent the first mail, and i haven’t got any solution for the same.
                                        I was simply going to ask for the replacement of the paneer dish as we were hungry. I was not asking for any refund or for any strict action to be taken against the restaurant, i was simply asking for a quality dish for which i paid.
                                        Earlier, zomato used to solve these queries real quick. Probably your customer redressal policies have degraded.
                                        Really disappointed!
