I have ordered food online from Zomato and my money got deducted. After sometime, I realised that it is more than 45 minutes and my order did not get delivered.When I went back and checked, my order got rejected.When I reached their chat they don't have any resolution. No food and my money is deducted.

These people are not resolving my problem and there is no message that my order got rejected and there is no message about my refund.

Indeed they are simply saying to order from another restaurant and asking them to understand.I have been waiting for 2 hours and there is no sympathy from them.

    I ordered food from Zomato, Chowpatty restaurant.

    The food arrived one and a half hour late, was completely cold and soggy and overall inedible.

    Their support staff was very unhelpful and unapologetic. They kept saying that I should talk to the restaurant to resolve the issue and they would call me.

    The restaurant neither called me nor picked up when contacted.

    Zomato refused a refund for the order and insisted upon adding 25% credits which are completely unusable for me since I have no intention of ever ordering from them again.
    Had ordered a sub from subway through zomato, the sub was too spicy, i immediately contacted zomato and informed them.They took me on conference call with the outlet where the manager clearly said u have placed ordered through zomato so ask them to resolve your issue we have no say in this.But zomato failed to resolve they just said sorry.

      On contacting the chat support team upon non receipt of my food, the support associate simply wrote that the same will be delivered in 10 — 15 mins without a slightest hint of apology for the delay. When i stated the same to the associate, that person sent a sad emoji as if he/she was making an informal chat. Such unprofessionalism was not expected from zomato.
      As i write this conplaint, i still havent received my order!

        I ordered some food from the app.. I used paytm as a payment method but the restaurant cancelled my order.. And the amount was refunded in the zomato wallet instead of paytm..
        Also i asked the customer care.. They told they will refund in paytm wallet in 24-48 hrs
        And today when i contacted them.. The customer support is refusing to initiate a refund in my paytm wallet..
        Plzz help me to refund my money and take strict action against zomato app..

          Used zomato 1 year back. Due to pathetic support i have uninstalled the app.
          Again installed it 2/3 months back and subscribed zomato gold, reached level 8.

          But every time i raise a complain i receive pathetic support from zomato team.

          I want a proper investigation of the chatting history with your support team.

          Just few min back i received my order without zomato treat. When i informed support they kept me waiting for stating i am contacting the restaurant. After around 25 min support informed me that restaurant said they have delivered the item. I have shown the proof but support kept telling me that restaurant delivered. And told me to contact support if i want anything else!!
          What kind of gesture is this!!!

          Later i called the restaurant and they informed delivery guy mistakenly delivered the item to someone else.

          Support was not responding to my queries.
          For last 2 days i have experienced 3 bad incidents. Every time support let me down with their communication skills and poor manners.

            I have sent some 20mails and 100tomes chatting but again zomato people are asking me to check with my bank for money but I have escalated in bank and they have clearly mentioned in mail that merchant ie, zomato agreed that they received amount. Even on Nov 24 zomato people told in chat that I will receive my money to bank in 5-7working days. I checked with them again on Dec 3 and they asked me to wait 2days. Now again they are asking me to check with my bank. I need this company to get close to cheat people

              Hi,

              I have recently purchased a mobile (One plus 5t) from oneplusstore.in on 24/11/2017

              An offer was going on as per which zomato is offering gold membership subscription for 12 months to every buyer of one plus 5t.

              Today on 27/12/2017 my phone was delivered to me by one plus team. I went through the steps mentioned in the offer details to register my complimentary zomato gold membership subscription and was unable to find any such tab in zomato app.

              In chat support section initially zomato team communicated that zomato gold membership is available only for one plus 5t users. Younger brother (Anuj agarwal)

              Now when i took the chat support from my one plus 5t mobile i was kept on hold for about half an hour post that they communicated that it was a lucky draw offer in which one who order maximum number of one plus 5t on friday will get the subscription. Screenshot 2 attached

              In the offer details lucky draw is nowhere mentioned at all. Pdf attached

              Zomato is misleading customers of oneplus to download it's app.

              Such misleading offer alongwith such premium phone is a matter of big shame for both zomato and one plus

              I hope oneplus will take action against this

                Don't use credit card. They will block your order, block your money and refund after 2-7 days your money without reason. Very bad system. And they will tell you that the problem is from your bank. Absolutely no. It is an issue from their bank. I chat with someone of the support and he was very useless. He just tried to tell me that the problem is mine. Very bad service.

                  I ordered food from punjab depot - marol at 1:30pm and was expecting a delivery by 2: 30 pm through zomato. When i called up punjab depot to check on the order, they informed that the order is ready but delivery boy from zomato was unavailable to pick up. Zomato had no courtesy to inform me that the order/delivery will be late because of such problem and that too during peak lunch hour where i was starving. This is very unprofessional, ideally i should have been informed by zomarto by 2 or 2:15 pm max that the order cannot be delivered due to lack of man power. I shall never order through zomato now.

                    We ordered a meal from paradise food court pvt (Gachibowli outlet) through zomato last night and were very disappointed that it took well over an hour for the delivery. The order was put in at 10:07 pm and we only received the meal close to 11:30 pm. This was unacceptable as we had guests and as much as we contacted the customer service representatives, they could only tell us that the food was out for delivery - from 10:45 pm onwards...
                    It is unacceptable for delivery to take this long and for there to be no word from either the restaurant or the delivery person. We were very disappointed in this service and will definitely not be ordering through zomato again.
                    We have tried all the food delivery services now and believe the others to be superior as they at least communicate with the customer in case of any difficulties or delays.

                      I ordered one cake today for birthday celebration from my office but the cake you delivered was pathetic, was stinking a lot, no hygiene and when i complained about this then no response, no one called and when i tried store's num no reply from them too... I am irritated a lot with your reply. Kindly do something asap. Kindly do me the refund or give me one good reason to serve dirty and bad cake to spoil our occasion.
                      Otherwise i have to register proper complaint about your zomato to the concerned department or website.

                        I Amit Kumar R/o Sector-15 Rohini, hv placed order on zomato for subway item on 04th Nov2017 while it was delivered in 1 hr time. After delivery while opening the packet. Food was totally smelling and it can be clearly seen that breads has been very old and cheese is just plunging out of it like a rubber. Like it has been put in such condition for last 3-4 days. Freshly baked bread and cheeze never show such characteristic. And these people are so insensitive towards consumers that they don’t even accept their mistakes. I hv seen there hv been alrdy so many complaints regarding them for such home delivery items. It is requested that consumer forum should intervene and bring justice for consumers whose time n money r just getting wasted because of such food order/delivery companies. Eagerly waiting for your reply.

                          I had order my lunch from zomato at around 1.15 they constantly called me and confirmed that they are on its way but at around 2pm they are calling and saying they we would not be able to deliver the order to your address (As it is far) then why did you take the order your customer care app confirmed me that the food will be delivered to your address why is zomato so unprofessional. You guys are just making false commitments. You guys are cheaters

                            Hi, i am a resident of panduranga nagar, 2nd cross, arekere gate, bangalore 560076. Some 10 to 15 employees of zomato are congregating in our street from morning to evening and creating nuisance. This is a totally calm residential street and no office, shops are here. Your company employees are disturbing the residents here. Please check this menace.

                              The food that i order from chowman were given with a instructions of the food to be less spicy. Despite of that the food was very very spicy and now after consuming it i am having severe food poisoning i just want my money back that's all i know. My order no was 41987561. Please take strict action on them. This is totally unacceptable. I want them to litteray face the consequences as my condition is worsening because of the this food. And they should definitely compensate for it

                                I have taken a cab from sharjah, travelled all the way to dubai to dine in mizu dubai, the zomato app gave me an information that the restaurent is open untill 2 am on mondays, when i arrive there on 11:23 the restaurent told me their closed and they can not do anything about it and it is totally zomato's fault, i have a screenshot of zomato app telling me its open untill 2 am, who is going to compensate me for this big mistake that has cost me 127 dhs in taxi fare.???

                                  The worst experience ever in ordering food online... The first order not accepted by the restaurant.. And the second restaurant did not deliver food even after one hour.. Tried to check with the restaurant, however restaurant says they haven't received any order from zomato.. Post an hour of trying to resolve with customer care i get e reply that the order is cancelled by restaurant and the money is credited back to zomato account... I requested amount to be refunded back to my wallet from which i paid, however they say that it can't be done..

                                    Hi my name is shalu shandilya and i had called zomato to call for a delivery from l'opera. The zomato customer service representative refused to send a zomato delivery person to restaurant to replace the order, as offered by l'opera and then promised me to send me a refund for the order. It's been two days and i've yet to receive the refund. Plus upon chatting with customer service i've realised that i was lied to by the customer service and they've refused to refund me as was promised.

                                      My name is anshuman singh. I ordered something from zomato and it was successful, i got notification that food will be delivered within 40 mins. But the order never came. When i tried to contact zomato they always demanded 5 more mins. I was so much hungry so i thaught to order something from zomato because they provide fast service according to them. It was a total mental pressure. I was not feeling well to go outside and i wanted to have some food because i was very hungry. They lied to me. They do fake promises.

                                        This is the second bad experience i faced today while ordering from zomato. I was promised in ur previous mail that i won't face any problem which i last faced on 11/9/17 on my daughter birthday and you guys promised to me that order for zomato with hastle free service and also credited rs 200 as compensation. I thought to give uall a second chance. But today it's proved u guys don't believe in customer service. Today when i ordered subway and when i had a chat with ritesh. I was really upset with his response and feedback what i received from him when my order received around one hour 30 minutes. I requested ritesh for refund of money paid. He said its againt policy. I m very sorry to say he started making weird excuse it's sunday and all. Let me tell u guys every sunday i order my dinner from restaurant and any restaurant i call they deliver to me in 30 minutes or max 45 mins or even if late max 1 hour. But when i ordered again today from zomato it was delivered to me more then one hour almost 90 minutes. Which really lost my appetite. I had paid money through credit card i had no option rather to take it as ritesh denied for refund and cancellation. Also to my surprise i been proved now u cannot trust zomato anymore as when i had a bad experience earlier inspire telling ritesh order is really late and inspire asking for full refund. He strickly denied against company policy. Very sorry to say u guys have against lost the trust and i would rate u 0 star. Worst customer service for ordering food. Will definitely share my experience with social media like facebook twitter, comsumer forum friends and relatives so that they too don't face such bad experience.
