I had ordered food from Zomato at 3:04 and the delivery time was 60 min, which is 4:04, I contact Zomato at 4:15 stating I have not received my food, and I am hungry they said as per hotel they will take another 15-20 min, I said then I don't want the food, who waits for 90 min for food delivery was as the hotel was 2 KM away from my house, they came to deliver at 4:55, I went out bought my food and eat by then so I told I can not accept such delay in delivery as best part is they marked the order as delivered at 3:07 on App, really delivered order in 3 min? I did not get my money or food until now. customer service was not ready to help, they cheat on me they charged for the services not delivered.

I need my money back

    On 5th june i made a order on zomato for momos from wow momo (Order id:[protected] as per th site order as suppose to be delivered at 7:52 pm however i dint received it its a pretty lame option where u cannot contact zomato directly and they call u back which never happens on time. I had few guests at home so being a little impatient i contacted wow momos directly on the number given on site. To my amazement they informed me that they dint received any order at all from wow momos obviously i was furious but i still thought that tere could be a issue since i received a msg from zomato stating that order was confirmed. Now eventually zomato decided to grace me with their callback when i patiently told them all the details the guy on line from zomato said that there is some issue with restaurant guys as he can even see the delivery person assign for my order... Hope although we have already exceeded zomato 40 minutes delivery comitment however with desperate times and being a helpless consumer i agreed to wait when zomato team informed me they will look in it and get back to me. After all the checkings and what not at 8:15 or 8:20 iget a call from zomato that the restaurant never really received the order and they are sorry. When i insisted that they can rebook it and try to get it deliver they denied straight ahead stating its against policies. First the company makes the comitment then they give false information and when its proven that they failed in completing their commitment they take a step back. Worse service ever received. The brand cant stand to its own words why do they even bother giving online delivery options.
    I have ordered super 6s kfc chicken which includes 6 pieces of crispy fried 6 boneless and wings but received only 6 piece of smoky grilled..they are cheating customers by showing one order and delivering other. When i contacted with their customers care they told they cant replace or refund .

      Hi,

      This is with respect to the order# 26445485... This is for the food order at 1:16pm on 4th june, 2017.

      Here is the details:
      1) order is accepted at the restaurant and zomato at 1:16pm
      2) at 2pm had a chat with zomato chat support for the status
      3) at 2:30pm zomato support told order is picked up and about deliver

      After that no food is delivered to me and kept dragged the issue till 3:36pm and the order is cancelled with out proper information...

      Shame on you guys zomato team...

        My order id 24122184 was canceled due to no delivery boy available i asked to manage it they didnt sorry sir refund aa jayega 7 din m rude behavior by neha verma jo karna hai kar le no email id provided and no contact no given bu her on sorry sir we cant help you i want to have breakfast and i cant do anything
        request you to give me more proceger to file a case against such organistation no worries if i have spend 15 lak to shut down this organisation

        The App & customer support on chat is a sheer waste of time. They do not have any number on which you can reach them. I placed the order, order was confirmed without my consent, I want to cancel the order, they have no option to cancel. On top of it, they have no phone number to connect. Chat is so slow, it is expected to be quick but they are not at all helpful. I want Zomato to connect me asap.. My order number [protected]. Need a call asap.

          I deepesh kashyap ordered butterscotch shake, ice cream etc. Worth amount rs.400 from temptations on 1st may. The payment was via debit card. The online order was cancelled by the shop with the reason that there is no one to deliver it. Zomato notified that the amount will be refunded within 2-7 days. But after a week also there is nothing such happened. Please take in notice the issue as it is related to zomato's esteemed reputation.

            I placed an with Uppu Munchi restaurant at 03:04 PM, order no 23855262. The status of the order says confirmed. Few minutes later i receive a call from Uppu Munchi saying they cannot process my order because it is too late. I inform Zomato support thorough chat to cancel the order. Simultaneously I place an order to Venus Restaurant, order number 23856268 at 3:12 PM.
            While Zomato support was cancelling order from Uppu Munchi, they cancelled even my order from Venus Restaurant. I never told them to cancel order from Venus Restaurant.
            I click on RE-ORDER an place another order in Venus Restaurant, Order number 23857936 at 03:27 pm. The order status said confirmed. The details said the order will be delivered by 4:13 PM. I waited till 4:30 pm. Gave a call to the restaurant, they said Zomato never informed them about the second order.
            First they cancel an order when I did not tell them to. Then upon re-ordering they do not inform the restaurant of the reorder request. My order status says confirmed but the restaurant has not received any order request.
            From 3:00 PM till 05:45 PM on 07/05/2017 I am trying to deal with the issue without any food delivered to me. No Zomato support whether the chat or the customer care number is helpful. Very disappointed with their service.

              Sir/ madam i hav order food from anjappar restaurant via zomato app. I paid a sum of rs 346 via my debit card. I ordered it on may 7 at 12:05 pm but the food is not ordered till now. And the customer service of zomato is telling they can't refund my money. Now they have automatic put in their app that it is delivered to me. But it's not yet. This zomato is a full fraud app. Kindly refund me my money and shut this fraud app as soon as possible.

                I have placed a order of food from zomato online food delivery on 30.04.2017 in evening. But they do not deliver the food till 10.15pm (Expected delivery time is 9.45pm) i have cancelled my order through chat service of zomato. Zomato did not answer of my cancellation request on that time. I have recd. The call at 11.00 pm by zomoto/restaurant - handi chadiyaan di, at c. P. New delhi. I told the caller that i have cancelled my order. Next day when i check my account status has been shown order delivered successfully and refund is not received agst. Cancellation the order. I chat with zomato customer care but they asked me that any replied you recd. Our site there is any promise of refund. I said your chat executive did not any reply when i cancel my order. No customer care number is available on app, i received it from google search and then call to customer care. Customer care executive at this time told me i checked with restaurant and then refund it urgently. But still i have not recd. Any call or refund from zomato. Order no.23254713 dt.30.04.2017

                Frustrating Experience. Food Not Delivered . . . Delivery time was 3:17 PM, its 4:36 pm now. Support not helpful.

                Swiggy and Foodpanda are far better than this. I will not order from Zomato again. They respect customer;s time and money.

                  The order was placed on 29th April 2017 ordered from Aaron and 14th April 2017 ordered from.mahataja bhog on 14th April the meal was.modified and the amount they charged me was still for the full order placed initially and then while I am writing to the customer care about the same I don't know how the order was placed again and again was the money deducted for the order, I thought they would definitely refund the money as the order was wrong but no they have their standard answer we cannot get through the restaurant therefore the order cannot be cancelled through the restaurant is been informed about the cancellation and modifications and again the same thing happens on 29th April I placed an order and wanted to cancel it as it was showing the double amount to deliver the item, but again on cancelling the order at the restaurant we cannot get in touch with the restaurant therefore the money cannot be refunded, restaurant has answered my call in seconds but only zomato cannot get through them, Just good for nothing site.

                    I ordered Dalkhichdi from Zomato website and the restaurant delivered Dal at 12midnight.

                    I am following up with Zomato since then to get the refund amount to my credit card from which i paid for the order.
                    Zomato is telling me that they don't have policy to refund the money to your bank accounts and they can only give zomato credits so that we again order from Zomato and end up receiving incorrect order.
                    Had ordered food from restaurant papa chef dombivali east from Zomato...The food was pathetic...They denied to refund my money...Wanna file a suit against them
                    Placed an order at 2pm. yet to receive the order at 3.30pm. asked for delivery persons number & was given a wrong number. each time their customer care person says it will be delivered in 10 mins.

                    they should at least have the decency to be honest.

                      I have placed an order with zomato using tapzo on 21st of march. And they missed few items to which i have called them. and they said i have to create one account with zomato and they will refund the money then and there. But today i have called them they first said who told me to create an account because already do have one. But Now i have to send one email to zomato regarding that. i said why i have to earlier one one of your agent said zomato will credit that refund then and there. Now you are saying i have to send mail. After few argue He said well as he can see i need to create one account first. then only he can help. And in the mean while line got disconnected. I dont know how to deal with this ****. Please Help.

                        The order I placed through zomato in the restaurant mathsya was delayed for more than an hour. I contacted zomato and they informed me that my food will reach in about 10 minutes. Then after 15 mins I directly called up the restaurant and to my shock the food wasn't even sent out for delivery yet. The hotel guy told me there was a mistake of orders and apologized for the same. I submit this complain with grief and hunger in my stomach. This just proves how careless and unprofessional the service is. Thank you. Please take the necessary steps needed.
                        I placed an order firewater-kitchen-bar-1-hitech-city and 287 rs was deducted from my account.I called the restaurant and they said they didn't receive any order and didn't receive any message regarding the same.By when will the amount be credited back.

                          I made an order .. through zomato .. it was showing me that zomato deal with bangla sweets in kirti nagar, delhi ... but at the end my order gets cancelled and now zomato is saying that the money would be refunded withing 5-7 days ..
                          if zomato is not dealing with bangla sweets why did it placed the order ..
                          i am very disappointed from the services by zomato .. my refund number is[protected]
                          I paid through card for my order on 20/12/2016; the restaurant rejected my order and I got a message that my amount will be refunded in 5-7 days time. Even after repeatedly asking them to refund, my amount has not been refunded even though it is nearing 4 months now. Zomato is a big fraud.

                            I brought a Olly cream on 5 the march but till now i don't get any information about my order not even order no .I already paid amount online...What should i do because i called customer care number so many times but it didn't connect.If they can't complete my order they should return my money back as soon as possible.this is the first and last time i ordered something online really disgusting...
                            I have ordered through zomato app waited for 2 hrs and dint receive the order... And the restaurant person says order is ready but zomato person have not com to pick. This happened in Hyderabad. And finally after 2hrs wait zomato persons says sorry please order from other restaurant.

                              I orderd food online on Zomato from 5Spice (kandivali east) and got a confirmation from Zomato after 45 mins I also got a msg saying that order is on the way and we did not receive the order for 2 hours after placing the order. When we checked with the restaurant they said they have not got any order request from Zomato. The Zomato person said that he online system of the restaurant is not working. The restaurant blames on Zomato and Zomata blames on the restaurant for the goo[censored]p.

                              When we called up the restaurant a very arrogant person tell us "tum ko refund de diya hai...phir kya hai tumko". Instead of being apologetic and delivering the same at the earliest. They give such arrogant reply.

                              This is totally unacceptable. We did not receive any order for two hours and zomato and the restautant are playing the blame game.

                                I ordered from Zomat for an online delivery 2 hours prior and i didn't receive the order even after scheduled delivery time is passed (more than 50 mins ago). Every time i call the support - they say the delivery is on the way and then they hang up the call. The delivery boy doesn't know the address and is roaming all over bangalore to deliver. Very bad experience ordering it online from Zomato - definitely wouldn't try it again and would recommend others to stop ordering from Zomato
                                I orderd food at 6:45 and got my food at 8:45...it was just samosas...i wasnt informed why i was delayed...at 8:30 i was told by a executive tanay that the bike of delivery boy had an issue...
                                Then he told me thag he is passing the issue to another guy...who didnt replies me at all...the food has become too cold...i threw it in dustbin...no one is still replying me in customer support.

                                  I ordered food through Zomato app in my mobile on 19.02.17. The amount was 304. Due to some reason they refunded my money back. 196 was credited to my zomato wallet and Rs 108 was refunded to my bank account. But I have not received the money till today 7.03.17. I am continuously asking them about the money, but they are telling that they have paid the money back to my bank. But bank records are not showing any transaction with that reference id.

                                  Zomato just stole my money and harassing me.

                                    I have ordered 2 chicken biryani and 1 kabab from Paradise restaurant from Zomato portal with guest login. But I received 1 veg biryani and 1 chiken kabab. and when asked the Zomato customer care why this happened, They put all blame to the Restaurant and told me that They cant replace the order with my actual one. So I asked for refund of the extra money and they suggested me to open a Zomato account and they will refund the amount as Zomato money to the account which can be used in my next order. But I want my money to be refunded to my account directly but they told thay cant do it at all.
                                    I ordered 2 chicken white sauce pasta large. Received one large and one half pasta but had prepaid zomata full amount for two large pasta. Can't reach the zomato customer care through chat call or mail. The restaurant has refuse to help as for them they have received one half onne full pasta order. I have attached all the oder details with the complain.

                                    I ordered a cheesy fries with chicken from a restaurant through Zomato and they delivered a wrong item in veg. Also, the fries were stiff and tasteless. When asked for a refund, Zomato refused. This isn't the first time, this has happened earlier also.

                                      I had ordered food from a hotel called Fattoush in Bangalore. They confirmed the order and I got an SMS saying it will be delivered in an hours time. After 1.5 hrs when I called Zomato they said the delivery guy had left the hotel 15 mins back and will deliver my food in 5 minutes. After 30 mins I again called Zomato and then they said my order got cancelled because the hotel can deliver to my location.

                                      Now, my simple question is, the moment the hotel/zomato knows my location, why didn't they cancel my order immediately? Why make me wait for 1.5 hours and later after me calling them they say it is cancelled? In fact the first time i called they said delivery guy was on the way! Are you all lying to customers? Is this how you treat a customer? If you don't know how to handle, why do you even have a delivery system in the first place?

                                      I do not want an apology. I do not want any credits. All I want to know is why did you lie when the hotel had decided not to deliver the food in the first place?

                                      ZOMATO are LIARS! ZOMATO are worst delivery systems!!!

                                      Shameful!! ZOMATO should be ashamed of such a poor delivery system!! ZOMATO should feel sorry for themselves for being such LIARS!!!

                                        I placed my order by zomato order app . . . then after one hour lady called me from +[protected] she told me to wait for 5 minutes then it happens thrice . . . after all this she didn't even received my phone call . . . delivery boy came after 1hour 55 minutes. . . I have all call recordings . . . how can I file case in court against zomato order . . .
