I ordered from a delivery service called Zomato and a few items from my order were missing and incorrect. Since its a frequent occurrence (regardless of the delivery app used: Swiggy or Zomato) and I had always received my refunds promptly in the past(through both, however I had just recently started using Zomato), I quickly took the pics and asked for chat support.
Firstly they denied the support through chat and asked to send the pics and order ID through email. I did just that. I later got an email saying there is nothing they can do and no refund is possible.This is just ridiculous. The whole concept of a delivery service is to provide timely and correct delivery.
I sent another mail requesting for help and they just keep sending me automated emails and just no support is provided!
I called the restaurant and they never got back to me, its PizzaHut! They are supposed to be accountable!
I feel robbed, I had one weekend which i was looking forward to all week and this happened. No support, just feel punished for using their service. How is this fair and allowed? What can I do to get my refund?
