Booking Id: JPS6NKPPL
I booked self-drive car rental with ZoomCar on February 16, 2020, for a round trip with dates (25th April 2020 to 3rd May 2020) from New Delhi.
I had cancelled the trip on April 6, 2020, due to the CoronaVirus Lockdown imposed by the Govt of India, and according to ZoomCar's policy, a full refund was to be issued within a week.
Afterwards, I did not get any communication from ZoomCar regarding my refund. I tried to initiate contact on Twitter, and every 3 weeks, I would get a response that the refund is delayed by 3 weeks and will be processed.
It has been almost 6 months (5 months 24 days to be exact), and I still have not received my refund of Rs. 19512 (of which Rs.14512 is main amount, and Rs.5000 is security deposit)
Please help me get my refund!

The refund in cash was never processed, however I was given a credit voucher for the same amount that I've availed on a new booking. I am not happy, but it is a satisfactory resolution. Hence closing the complaint.

    Zoomcar Team,
    I am highly upset with your service. This was not expected from you. You have cheated. Its almost 2 months and I have been waiting for my refund. At this time when everyone is struggling to survive, this is what you do. I have seen so many of your customers being cheated this way on many of your posts. I want an answer to when I will get my refund. I need my money back. I have been trying to reach out to you since a long time. But you stopped accepting calls, unless we have a current booking. I have requested for call back a 100 times and also raised my concern many times through your app.. Yet there has been no response. I need to know when your goin to refund my amount. I have attached my booking details as a screenshot.

          I have completed my zoomcar trip on 28th august 2020 and it's been over a month i still haven't received my refund yet. I have emailed them regarding this but there is no response. Worst service till now...

              I had booked a car with booking id - jps6ndajx for which i payed rs 4414 which included a refundable deposit of rs 2999 which they were was supposed to return me back after ride completion which i did at 01.9.2020 (Ride completed) and fuel charges of rs 450 which they were supposed to return me back within 48 hrs. After uploading the bill which i did upload on 01.09.2020 but still i have not received

                Booked zoom car in april month, i have cancelled due to covid-19, zoom car not refunded my amount, so many times contacted to zoom car customer care, they told they will refund, zoom car cheated me.
                Pls resolve the issue.

                  I booked a car with a security deposit which was supposed to be refunded when the booking is over. But even after a day (90days) they did not refund it back. When i called the customer care service they told me that the amount will be refunded back to me once the lockdown is over. My id is jps6ny3i9.

                    My booking id is jps6notg3, i have cancelled the booking on 1st july 2020 for which i have not received the refund till date. I have been calling their customer support team and mailing them as well, but all in vain. I am constantly been fooled by the support team that refund will happen shortly.
                    Please refund my amount which is 5906 rs. The booking was done from bengaluru.

                      Zoom car is a self driving car, but you guys are taking money too high when compare to a cab service... I enclosed ola cab normal like ritz /wagnor with a timing of 14 hours including drivier charges and 280 km with fuel cost is around 3000 and same timings without driver for same car i. E swift u guy's are taking 4200 for just 278 km... Is this fair to you... You guys are lotting the public money

                        Refund pending: inr.2, 890/-

                        Total pending refund: inr.11, 925/-

                        I have been contacting the customer support from past 3-4 months, only to be told that the company is making "honest" effort to refund my pending amount.

                        The reason for delay given is: "no transaction is successful when zoomcar tried to refund to customer", while "customers are able to successfully pay rental fees to zoomcar".

                        I find no reason to not believe that zoomcar has very conveniently, intentionally delayed giving me my hard earned money back, providing reasons with astronomical probability and are too stupid and lame to believe,

                        I am starting to suspect that this whole company is into fraudulent abuse of customer's money since the pandemic started.

                          I subscribed for zoom car for 1 month. The scheduled delivery was saturday 4 pm. While there might be reasons for delay, since yesterday, the relwtionship manager has switched off his phone. Whenever he switches it on and i dial again, he wouldn't pick. There are no workingcustomer care numbers. Emailed zap. [protected]@zoomcar.com multiple time but no response from their either. I have made the full 1 month subscription payment amount along with security deposit but now i have no clue what's happening and whether i will get the car or not.

                                I cancelled my booking with zoomcar on 9th august 2020, due to lockdown. Since then i am sending mails to zoomcar support team regarding refund. There is neither any mechanism of tracking mails sent to them nor are they bothered to reply on my mails. I tried calling on their customer service as well, on[protected]. Everytime they told a different story.
                                1. They said, refund will be initiated in 30 days.
                                2. When i called after 30 days, they said it's 30 working days.
                                3. Still no refund initiated, now they said there is some issue, we will raise a complaint and refund will be credited in 24 hrs.

                                I am still awaiting refund...16271 is not a small amount.

                                  Hi, my booking id is jps6nyuju i booked it on 1st jun. I have emailed multiple times they told me it will be processed in 2-3 days. Now it has been 5 months still no reply.

                                  They dont have any customer care number so cant complaint there.

                                    Following is my booking id - jps6nyp1q refund amount rs 6952

                                    Worst car service... It's a fraud... My refund has not been settled since 5 months.. Evry time they say payment gateway is not working and it will be done in 2 weeks... I searched internet and found many customers facing similar issues with refund and are taking legal route... So please be beware of this fraud company.

                                        I completed my trip on august 1st 2018 and still haven't received my refund, i took two other trips since and still haven't received refunds for any of them, i emailed and requested callbacks literally over a 100times absolutely no response.
