[Resolved] Zoom Car — clutch breakdown fine levied | |||||
Really disgusting company.. The booking id for zoom car was jps6txvk9. The clutch usually has a lifespan of 30000km to 100000km on average.. We were handed the car at 5am and by 7 am, about 50 kms ahead the clutch broke down.. The car was driven carefully on normal highway and the trip was registered for 300km. Foul plastic burnt smell was noticed and we immediately stopped and were stranded on highway for 3long hours. They sent a tow truck after 2hours and the response from the zoom car team was really poor and they even hung or didnt receive the calls many times. As the car is driven by many people and it has run for about 38000km, the zoom car team is completely blaming the last 50 km that we drove for the clutch fail and levying 15000 rs fine. If not payed in the next day they are threatening to impose 18% interest and legal charges on us. The service completely ignores the recorded 38000 km and blames for the clutch which is run for 50km by us normally. They are the ones to pay for the trouble they caused and for ruining our important schedule. Kindly look into this matter Was this information helpful? | |||||
