[Resolved] Zoom Car — false cleaning charges | |||
Zoomcar Customer care is of no use. Customer care is just rude and harass the Customers. I booked a zoomcar on 8th aug 2018 pick up time 8:30am Drop time 4:30 pm (same day, 8th aug ). Mahindra E20 PLUS ( CAR NAME) BOOKING ID JPS648GZ9 CAR NUMBER - KA03AF2578 Drop time of the car 4:37pm( as per zoomcar) Time of charges being applied around 5:30( as per zoomcar records) The car was of some owner ( not official car of zoomcar). The car was clean (interiors) Outside (exterior) was slightly dirty because the area near drop location was muddy and it was raining. Due to which car got slightly dirty from outside ( exterior). Interiors of the car was absolutely clean (in the same condition i got it in the morning). After i dropped the car back to the drop location. I locked the car through ZoomCar App. Immediately someone else (in front of my eyes) comes and takes the car away ( assuming that was owner of the car) ( Customer Care is not sharing any information regarding who took the car, infact they are completely denying that someone else drove the car AWAY) After 1 hour i receive a message stating outstanding of RS4500. Which includes 3500 damages and 1000 cleaning charges. Later on after escalating this issue these charges were waived off and the outstanding was rs 0 ( zero). After 1.5 hour or so ( around 8pm) Again i got a notification of Rs500 of cleaning charges were updated. Wasting 30mins with Customer Care got no solution instead was told to wait until 48hours for investigation. I have written so many mail but information is not being shared about who unlocked the car after i dropped it. And there was no solution given Later these charges were updated to RS 1000.( Roughly after 30 hours) I again contact the customer care, explained them what Happened. The Customers care staff says obviously some one will take the car away . It must has been given to other Customer. And you are liable for paying these charges .( Cleaning charges) If someone else is driving the car after i leave it why should i be liable for anything in the car The response which they give was "sir these charges are valid and you have to pay them otherwise we will transfer your case to our legal team " These charges are all false and they are forcing innocent Customer to pay for that. For mistakes of some else i am being forced to pay Rs1000 . I'm raising this issue again because there was no solution given by zoomcar . Verified Support Aug 14, 2018 Zoomcar Customer Care's response Hello Shourya, Greetings! We understand your frustration here, please accept our sincere apologies for the same. We did have a check on the charges levied Jasmeet. As the vehicle was handed over dirty the charges have been levied for the same. Also, upon checking, we find that there was no escalation raised about the vehicle being dirty during the reservation start time.
