[Resolved]  Zoom Car India — false billing

We took a brezza in vizag (Booking id: jps66sm71) and met with an accident. We've been charged rs.999/- as damage fee and we were asked to submit the police verification document. We have completed all the formalities and left vizag. Later on in the application, an outstanding amount of rs.1, 00, 000/- has been levied. After all the reversions and everything is done, it's been reduced to rs.6999/- (After reducing security deposit). When we contacted them in order to ask about this extra amount, every time we ask this question, the person named (Prathum) came up with different answers, first, he told us that since the repair charges exceeded 1lakh we are charging you 10k (I have the invoice and the repair cost is 8k approx), next time he told us that to claim insurance we are charging 10k, next time he told us that there was problem with engine so that's why we are charging a valid amount of 10k, next time he was giving us examples like... Think that you're the owner of the car and would you accept 999 as damage fee? All these # pointless discussions he was having with me. He didn't stay confined to one answer. Now he says that the engine and radiator are damaged, so that's why we are charging 10k. And today after all the discussion, he was literally blackmailing us to pay the outstanding amount by 12:00am or else he'll proceed legally it seems. So, kindly resolve this issue asap.
Note: the zoomcar employees have no proper approach or respect towards customers.

The repair cost is 86k approx and I'm having the invoice as well. I have all the recordings from day 1 when their person told us that we only charge Rs.999/- as damage fee and now they come up with different voices. Actually i must be getting 3k as refund but now im supposed to pay Rs.5999/- . Since the bookings have been blocked as this car is under repair, we are responsible for that and that is also a reason for us to pay 10k. It all started as a damage fee and now its ending up somewhere else. I have also asked him 3 days of time to investigate about this further to which he told me that it's not possible, pay the amount by 12:00am or else we'll be proceeding legally. Please resolve this as soon as possible.
