I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Zoomcar for failing to refund my security deposit amounting to ₹3000 in connection with a car rental booking.

- Total Amount Paid: ₹6117
- ₹669 for Damage Protection Insurance
- ₹3000 Security Deposit (Refundable upon safe return of the vehicle)
The vehicle was returned to the host on time and in perfect condition. At the time of handover:
- The host confirmed no damages
- I submitted photographic proof as required by Zoomcar
- The host gave a 5-star rating, confirming a smooth experience
Despite all this, Zoomcar has been withholding the refundable security deposit of ₹3000 and is now giving vague excuses. I have made multiple attempts to contact their customer support, but to no avail.
This conduct is not only unfair and unethical, but also violates the terms stated at the time of booking. I am therefore requesting your assistance in pursuing this grievance and compelling Zoomcar to initiate the refund of my security deposit without further delay.
