Zoomcar — Security deposit refund for Booking ID JPS6ND27S | |||
I booked a car ( Hyundai Creta), Booking ID-JPS6ND27S, through Zoomcar, my trip started on 12th of September and ended on 16th September 2020. In the booking amount, there was a security deposit of ₹5000. When I returned the vehicle, after all inspections they confirmed to me that they will refund full deposit amount of ₹5000. It has been over a month and a half and still they have not reversed the said amount. I am not able to reach out to their customer support as you need an active booking to get through the IVR, also they are not replying to the multiple emails I have sent them on their customer support ID. This situation is quite harassing as they promised me they will return the amount within one month max (which is already too much), while making the booking they take all the amount in advance and while returning they are being completely deceptive and unprofessional. I called the customer care centre just after my trip ended and the girl on the other side tried to get me to convert the refund amount to coupons, I don’t understand if this is some kind of loyalty building strategy or just harassing the customer so that he never comes back. Whatever it is, I want my ₹5000 completely refunded and some kind of reimbursements for all the efforts I had to make including repeatedly going to their parking lots to enquire if I can talk to somebody. This company doesn’t understand the situation here, that ₹5000 were needed for something and were part of my savings. Stop cheating your customers and refund this amount ASAP, Zoomcar.
