Airtel — no network after porting into airtel

Dear airtel,

I’ve given port in request to airtel on 31st aug 2017 from idea. On 4th sept 2017 idea has accepted the same and airtel has sent sms stating dear customer your porting request for mobile no. [protected] to airtel has been validated by idea/spice (Gsm). The number will be ported-in to airtel by 4th sept 2017 10:48 pm. The second sms states once your mobile displays no network, please insert the airtel sim in your handset and call 59059 to verify your details (Received both the sms at 01:19am on 04th sept 2017).

By 11pm my mobile displays no network and i’ve inserted airtel sim but sim not able to catch the signal.

If i dial my number from other number i get ivr msg that the number does not exist, please check the number.

Till now i’m getting the same error message.

I tried calling airtel customer care (3 times) but no use no one responded properly and cut the call.

Now i’m thinking why i’ve ported to airtel where there is no value for end users.

Why you have disconnected the idea network when you are not able give your network?

I want full explanation on this.

What is the time frame for port in process when you fixed the time at 10:48 pm port in process will start?

Is this right process to approach the port in process?

Can i get time limit that my number will be activated/grant the permission for network?

Due to ignorance of airtel i’ve missed important calls from my client and my manager. I did n’t expected this from airtel.

I request airtel to activate with all the services on my number asap

No network from Airtel even after 80 hours. Why this Airtel is doing all this. Airtel customer care is misguided every time I call. Every time they tell new things. Multiple complaints has been raised, still issue is not resolved.

I am also feeling one of the Very Worst service from airtel. My porting day is 19/01/2018 10.46PM.. OF COURSE Its ported from idea to airel at the same time. Network from idea went off.
BUT No network in new Airtel sim for comlete 48 hours.. If i complaint on Cc they r saying go to airtel office, If i go to airtel office they r saying all process done from our end plz call CUSTOMER CARE!!
I am a businessman.. I m not keeping my phone switch off or not reachable for just HALF AN HOUR..

BUT These WORST AIRTEL Made me not reahable to my Customers for Complete 48 hous(Still NO NETWORK CAME!!)

Niw i dont know to do anything..

I Request everyone DONT PORT TO AIRTEL From any network..

I ported my no from aircel to Airtel.. retailer said that your sim will be activated within 5 days..but till now I didn't get service on Airtel..my sim no[protected]U ..pls do something
I ported my sim from airtel tamilnadu to Karnataka circle...when the airtel tamilnadu has disconnected, i insert the new airtel sim and checked it out... There is no network coverage.
If someone call for this number, it tells yhat number is not exist.
I went to airtel care and file my report.
They also not responding and tell the sim will activate 3 days like that.. 3 weeks gone.
Their is no network.
Plz don't port to Airtel... It is fraud network.

I have also the same issue. If all have these type of isssue.. then Airtel telecommunications- please stop your service, throw away your third class company... still my new card is not working .. after 4 days..
Same issue here. I received a message from Airtel asking me to dial 59059 and enter the Tele verification pin received through SMS. But there is no network. It's been almost 11 days and still it doesn't have any network. Tried to select the network manually. No use. Airtel customer care sucks. Don't know what to do. This is my business number.

Go to Airtel website email them that your porting is not proper and they will resolve it
I ported my sim from idea to Airtel but there is no network even after 5 days... Idea is disconnected but still I m not getting Airtel network... I think my decision was not good to port in Airtel...

I apply for port on 2 April 2021 for port . It is said that Port will be done on 6April2021 at 23:00:00 . After the netwrok disappear i changed, and insert New Airtel Sim But it is not showing Network ! Help me to get out of this .

I apply for port on 16oct 2021 for port . It is said that Port will be done on 22oct 2021 at 23:00:00 . After the netwrok disappear i changed, and insert New Airtel Sim [protected] But it is not showing Network ! Help me to get out of this .

SOLUTION:

After porting from vodafone to airtel, my calls were working properly, but there was no internet connection.
Restarting the mobile solved the problem!

Btw, I paid 200 rs for porting. Did any of you guys pay that?
Guys, i am also getting same issue. I ported my sim from idea to airtel and idea has disconnected their network. I inserted my airtel sim but it shows no network, it's almost 1 days completed i will wait 3-4 hours if the issue doesnt resolve will port back to the Vodafone as they are better than airtel as per my experience.
