As per Airtel , the blackout days for customer will be
For 2013, the following Blackout Days will apply:
1. New Year, 1st Jan 2013, SMS and Voice
2. Friendship Day, Date TBA, SMS and Voice
3. Valentine Day, Date TBA, SMS and Voice
4. Diwali, Date TBA, SMS and Voice
5. 31st Dec 2013, Date TBA, SMS and Voice

But today i got a message from Airtel that
On 4th August 2013, SMS Benefits and discounts will not apply on your airtel mobile. SMS will be charged at Re 1(Local), Rs 1.5 (STD) and Rs 5(ISD)
i am using Vodafone and BSNL . but i didnt get any Blackout msg. only Airtel is charging. please take necessary step to stop this.

Airtel/ Airtel DTH — Not activating the DTH connection
Hi,I bought the airtel DTH connection on 30-Apr-2010 at around 10:00AM by paying Rs. 2750/- over phone using airtel IVR service. The payment was done through my credit card.
At the time of buying the connection the customer care executive told me that the connection would be installed on the next day in the afternoon. He also told me that I will receive an SMS in the next 2-3 hrs mentioning the date and time of installation. But I didn't receive any message from the airtel DTH.
When I call airtel DTH customer care, everytime I get a different answer from different executives. When I tell them to transfer the call to their supervisor they disconnect the phone. I am not able to speak to their supervisor even once in these days.
Today is the 4rth day and still my connection is not activated. I have also written mails to the [protected]@airtel.in but didn't get the appropriate reply the first time.
Now I want my money back as I have lost my faith in this DTH service provider.
Please let me know what should I do now to get my money back.
