[Resolved]  Godrej — Not getting support from Godrej customer support Hyderabad

I purchased a Godrej Pentacool refrigrator in bangalore. Now i am moved to hyderabad. I found that my refrigrator doesn't cool after power goes off. I called the customer support and engineer came home. Without even checking properly he says that defrost is not working, we need to purchase a new one. I told him that my fridge defrost works properly. However he insist on purchasing AMC from him and says we need to put new defrost panel. When we checked the new we found that panel is not original Godrej panel.
We want godrej to step in and help us fix the refrigrator

I am KV.S. SUBRAMANYAM from hyderabad I bought a godrej almirah in the month of November 2011 vide invoice no. 82I/24069184 DATED 23.11.2011 and to our surprise in the sealed pack there was no locker rod, the person Mr Narender who has come to install the same has confimed that the rod was not there and he will raise a compliant, till now the same has not be resolved, each type we give complaint to GODREJ they will send some persons and again take a complaint, how many months this goes on i am unable to understand.
i am giving you respect just because we were taught to give respect to others but you dont deserve it, we have bought the godrej AC just because of name of godrej its a branded company, but looking at your service that you claim to be so good it just a rubbish, my AC is not working from past 1 week and we are calling on the customer care number firstly no one picked the call n when they picked they assure that they will send some technicians, i called them again n again that no one has come to my home but they keep on doing false promising that technician will reach your home as soon as possible but no one has come and ur service says we just need to send sms to get your service but ur service is pathetic no one cares abt providing any kind of services, , call centre guys are always busy n do false promises provide false information as if they are trained to do so, , its better for u to stick on producing almira's only because you can not handle more than that and i am regreting i bought godrej AC n i will suggest each n every of my relative and friends that not to buy any godrej products by doing so atleast i can save them for being a victim of mental harrasment

I am Ankur Kakkar from Kanpur, 10 monthes back i purchased a Godrej 1.5 tn window ac.Withein a year it stopped working, when i called thee customer care theey told me theere will be an engineer visit withein 24 hrs, but i want to tell you theat engineer came to my place after 3days from thee day i raised thee complaint and told me theat compressor has a problem, he told me our people take away thee ac and repair it in next two days.After theat no one called me, daily i called to customer care, at last on 3rd day a trolley man came to my place and asked me to carry that AC to his trolley.Trust me after theat also i made sevral calls to customer care to send my AC on time, and when i got it back, i found it noisy and temperature problem.Again i raised thee complaint and today is thee 4the day and thee problem is still unresolved.
So its a advice to you all theat not to purchase any Godrej Product.

purchase particulars PRODUCT CODE:"LKYPDCD70, DUAL LOCK DPL (70MM). cost about Rs.500/-. now the LOCK not working properly, some of the small particles are falling down while functioning the the LOCK the same was explained at the above seller they recommended yours complaint cell. I have bought 6 locks form the above seller in different dates except this dual lock, no one has any complaint. please find this and respond as early as possible.

I have purchased a full automatic godrej machine in 2008. customer service is very bad.They register the complain and give the
complain no.and says that technicians will reach within 24 hrs...
But the technicain are not coming to repair the machine...i have been suffering from this problem for the last 15 days...godrej customer service give us the kolkata no...i must say that the people and the technician are not responding at all and they misbehaved very badly, they dnt know how to talk to a customer...from morning till evening im calling them and asking them to send the technician but they are just fooling me. Everyday saying that technician will reach my house Positively...but the technicain does not come...yesteday godrej people called me near about 15 times saying that technician will reach my house surely ... but technicians have not reached uptil now...and im really dissapointed..when im again calling godrej people they are talking very badly...i know all of there names who have fooled me..4 the last 15 days ...from lower level to the top...for sure im not going to buy any more product from godrej and ask my relatives and friends 2 not 2 buy any products from godrej...i thought 2 bring this notice 2 your desk..so that you kindly look into the matter...and do the need fulL.

I am writing to you guys regarding a very dissatisfied experience i have had so far from Godrej. Just 2 months ago, I bought a Godrej refrigerator and since then, i am facing nothing but problems. WIthin a month and a half, I experienced a problem in my refrigerator with regards to cooling hence i called up Godrej customer service and filed a complaint. A technician from Godrej visited my home, carried out his technical evaluation and derived a conclusion that important components like fan motor is damaged and needs to be replaced.

In this context, I did not let him replace just the damaged component but instead demanded for the replacement of the entire refrigerator. Let me justify my demand. As a consumer I bought a new product of a specific brand(Godrej), which was my preference since the time i decided to buy a new fridge, reason being i am a loyal customer of Godrej and even in the past i was using Godrej fridge for close to 15 years. I had a pleasant experience in the past and satisfactory one but with a new Godrej fridge i had nothing but problems.Reason why i chose to buy Godrej make because i had certain expectation from the company in the event i require any assistance.

If within a month and a half, important components like motor fan gets damaged then it is deemed that the product is faulty and should be replaced. I have made numerous phone calls to Godrej customer service as well as Vijay sales to get some resolution around this, however, I am not getting satisfactory resolution of getting the fridge replaced. They only offer me replacement of fan motor component which according to me is a mere formality than taking care of loyal customer's grievances.
I HAVE GODREJ DOUBLE DOOR FRIDGE WHICH IS NOT COOLING PROPERLY. I LODGE COMPALINTS MANY TIME BUT THERE IS NO PROPER RESPONSE FROM GODREJ CUSTOMER CARE AND DEALERS. I AM TRYING THIS FROM LAST 1 YEAR BUT NOW I AM FED UP AND GOING TO CHANGE THE FRIDGE. AS PER GODREJ DEALER/CUST CARE CENTRE FRIDGE IS 10 YEARS OLD AND SPARES (GASKET) IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH THE COMPAY.

THIS IS VERY REDICULES AND BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT FROM GODREJ.

I HAVE GIVEN THE COMPLAINT THAT OWEN NOT WORKING AFTER 20 DAYS THEY COME AND ATTENDED I PAID 350 SERVICE CHARGES. AGAIN AFTER 1 WEEK I GOT SAME PROBLEM, AFTER WEEK THEY CAME AND CHECKED, BOARD TO BE REPLACED COST RS.1350 I SAID DO IT. ON DEC 12TH THEY CAME AND ATTENDED AFTER 3 DAYS AGAIN OUT OF ORDER.AFTER THAT I HAVE GIVEN THE COMPLAINT AGAIN.AFTER THE MONTH THEY CAME AND CHECKED AGAIN THEY HAVE SAID SOME SPARE REQUIRED
I WILL BRING 2ROW, BUT AFTER 1 WEEK THEY CAME AND THEY SAID THAT SPARE NOT SUITS, I WILL COME AND ATTEND AFTER WEEK.AT LAST THEY COME TO MY HOUSE TAKEN OWEN FOR REPAIR. AFTER 20 DAYS THEY SAID YOU HAVE TO PAY AGAIN
RS.3500 I SAID THE OVEN COST RS.4000 ONLY BUT I ALREADY PAID 1600. SO IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, PL BRING MY OVEN AND ALSO WHATEVER I PAID REFUND THE AMOUNT, THEY HAVE ALSO ACCEPTED, BUT TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECD THE SAME. NOW I DONT WANT MY OVEN, VERY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. BECAUSE EVERY TIME I USED TO MAKE A CALL BUT NO RESPONSE. AROUND I MADE 200 CALLS APPROX, I AM GOING TO PUBLISH IN NEWS PAPAER FOR YOUR WORST SERVICE.
If you wish to buy anything from Godrej Interio then think twice, thrice and perhaps hundred times. I purchased an EUDOREA KING BED which was delivered to me and at the time of fitting on 15th.April;2013 it was found faulty. Till date the fault has not been set right. The material which was dispatched contained default items and the bed could not be fitted properly. I made at least 500 phone calls. They have no proper coordination among themselves. The management is utterly callous. IF YOU ARE BUYING GODREJ INTERIO YOU ARE SURE TO BE TAKEN FOR A RIDE. The people will drive you nuts because they will make you wait at your house, waiting for the replacement, you will be in a cellular jail in your own house, because you will sleep on the floor.They have no proper feedback of any damn thing. Just utterly callous, the CUSTOMER CARE will not pick up your phone.So next time say GOOD BYE to GODREJ and never make FULL PAYMENT.Again, they will tell you the various terms and conditions. Awful people.
The service is really bad and the service men and the company keeps on changing the dates when they will come and check the product and it gets worst when the service day comes and they again change their dates without realizing the problem faced by the user .The service men are too very bad in speaking with the owner of the product and sometimes did not know what is the problem going on and how to make the product work.

I bought a Godrej micro-overn in Chennai Purasawakkam Viveks. It stopped functioning after 18 months, in May 2013. On 13th May 2013, I registered a complaint over telephone to [protected]. I received a SMS from LM-GODREJ confirming the complaint call, the call no. being C[protected] and the CSN is 467. After this I have been phoning up every other day to the point of my frustration today, with no technician to attend the complaint. On opening this page, I come to understand this is not the unique case, there are many others who have similar frustrating experiences. Your company is least consumer friendly. Why should you run a company when you cannot provide technicians to attend defects or faults? There is no responsible reply. I am very much disappointed with the company because of its irresponsibility to the customers! Why the hell you need a section "Customer care"? You may have it "Godrej's customer carelessness"!

I had lodged a complain regarding my freeze . My complain no is X[protected] on 28/6/13. No one is attending is complain . I am face this problem 2 months back also. After 20 days and after repeated calls, it was resolved. I am afraid that it will again took at least 20 days. Why not yr service centre are prompt in providing services ? they are very much interested in selling the products. please make it prompt .
I PURCHASED A GODREJ WASHING MACHINE ON 03.07.2011. SINCE THEN ITS DRYER GAVE PROBLEMS. IT WAS REAPIRED WITH IN 3-4 MONTHS. THEN WITH IN TWO YEARS IT GAVE 5-6 TIMES PROBLEM. GODREJ DOES NOT ACCEPT THAT PRODUCT HAS MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND SUGGESTS TO TAKE AMC. RIGHT NOW ALSO IS NOT WORKING . MORE OVER THE COMPANY HAS POLICY OF ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR REPAIRS . THE SERVICE ENGG DEMAND ADVANCE PAYMENT TO GET THE SPARE PART. HOW A COMPANY OF SUCH REPUTE MAKE SUCH POLICY. THIS MEANS GODREJ EXPECTS DO OR DIE FROM ITS CUSTOMERS.
I brought a Godrej fully automatic washing machine costing around 16, 000 rs. The machine is still in its warranty period, till now we have registered around 10 complaints for this machine within 2 years. Godrej has provided us with a defected machine. Every time we use it some or the other problems occur and it stops working. We are living in Sakinaka, Mumbai where we get full time water and electricity supply without any issues, so there is no chance that the machine does not get enough of water to function properly. Earlier when we used to register complaints the technician used to come and do the repair and the machine would work fine for 2 months max, but now when we are registering complaint the technicians are not bothered to come and see what is the problem. We had registered a complaint on Oct 12, the technician came and said that PUC needs to be replaced and he went away, there was no sign of him returning back after that, we had to call up customer care every day and inquire about the status every time they would say we are forwarding this request on high priority but no further steps were taken. After constants calls to the customer care the technician came on Oct 19 ad replaced the part and without even waiting to check whether the machine is working fine or not he just ran away.. The final result was my machine was still not working and that person went and reported the complaint is closed. We registered a fresh complaint, now no calls from the service center as to when to come for repair and nothing. Today is Oct 23 and till now my washing machine is not working and we are washing clothes with our hands. 12 days and no kind of service from Godrej. We made the biggest mistake of buying a Godrej product for the first time ever, 16, 000 rs became a waste. Our whirlpool semi-automatic machine was way to good than this defected Godrej machine. 12 years we had our whirlpool machine and it was just once that a problem happened with that, the whirlpool technicians came in time and did the required service also and ensured the machine is working perfectly. I would request all of you to please never buy any Godrej product as they do not respond to any of our complaints. Please do not waste your money for the defected Godrej Products. We invested so much of money looking for the best washing machine, but it turned out to be the worst out of all..
