[Resolved] ICICI Prudential iProtect — Icici iprotect term insurance policy fraud | |||
This complaint is about iciciprudential which is three times award winner as mentioned in their emails. ICICI Prudential has been recognized as India’s Most Customer Responsive Insurance Company for the 3rd time by Avaya Global Connect Awards 2010. I had purchased iprotect online policy vide application no OL00058476 on 8/1/2011.After that my documents were completed on 17/1/2011 and medicals completed on 21/1/2011. But still I received many calls from different different places like pune/bangalore/Mumbai to complete the formalities. Application tracker on their website finally updated all formalities completed status on 31/1/2010.Then again 2-3 times i received call that please send all ur documents and person gave some email id of ymail.com.Then on 8/2/2011,application tracker was updated with info that my policy will be cancelled as documentation is pending. Then after sending them emauil that i have completed all documentation and that was allraedy updated by them on 31/12/2011 ,, on 10th January they came up with new information that based on my medicals they require extra premium and i received extra premium request letter after 4-5 days where premium was increased to double. I asked for cancellation and was informed that it can not be done online asnd you have to visit branch office personally.(When they want money everything is done online and when they have to refund the money,,,you need to go physically to their branch) On visiting branch,one person informs that policy purchased online should be cancelled online and he told to come on other day as concerned person is not available. On second day when we visit with letter of request,one arrogant lady asks for photo identity proof alongwith the letter. After submitting letter,on 17/2/2011,,on same day i receive an SMS that my request has been received and money will be disbursed in 7 working days. Then again i receive emails on 18/2 1nd 19/2 alongwith extra premium letter,,i get calls about getting some information....Also i receive one email on 19/2 that my policy has been withdrawn and money has been refunded .please check ur account.! I do not know when i will receive refund from them? I received one email on 25/2/2011 from their grievance resolution office that my refund has been processed and check your account for credit of the same. But till this date(2 March 2011 ), I have not received refund of premium and I am not receiving any reply to emails sent to them. Iciciprudential does not have any system/accountablity .Their staff is really horrible There is no coordination. Please do not buy this policy under any circumstances.Better u donate that money to some needy person . Thanks for reading this review. Was this information helpful? | |||

icici term insurance plan — online form does not accepted by the system
icici online policy iProtect...........system is not accepting the online information/online application form.in BUY ONLINE option, after entering the information, when we press the continue button, it shows "please enter only alphabets in first name" and not receiving it. These ICICI people are big buggers. They suck all your money. It is happend to me for my policy number OL00067102. They neither give policy nor give money back for the iProtect plan purchased through internet. So beware of these people. First log a compliant in IRDA 155255, second step lodge a consumer complaint, third register a FIR against ICICI internet cheating and finally go to media and tell this to media for getting money. Is this all required for a new comer? So new people would like to buy iProtect plan from ICICI prudential do not burn your figers and beware of ICICI prudential fraud.

I had applied for insurance cover of 50 lacs for ICICI prud online policy iprotect after getting lured by lower premium on dated 6/10/2010.I have completed all medicals & documentation formality.Every time I send details they are not updating details in there record.From last four month I am writing almost daily to icici but they have decided not to issue policy.Finally i complain to IRDA than after few days they have updated policy withdrawn.I do not understand if they do not want to do online business then why they are marketing this product.still I have not recd my premium amount back.They are cheating customer and collecting huge premium from customer & do not want to issue insurance policy.My approx 12000 Rs blocked from last four month.I suggest every body to think twice before decide on term plan from ICICI.They are more intrested in selling product like ULIP & endowment plan.I definaely go into consumer court against ICICI prud for unfare trade practice 7 cheating customer.
