[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — Poor Service & harasment

I took the post paid connection (Plan Economy 149) of Idea through the Personnel of Idea Cellular who visited my office on 23rd August 2008. As the address proof I gave him the Bank Statement and Pan Card Xerox. The Address mentioned in the Bank Statement was of my office, since I live in Paying Guest, so I don't have the required address proof. That's why I gave the address of my office. I gave him cheque of 299/ (99 for SIM, 200 as security deposit)-. He told me that whole Maharashtra would local call and 100 minutes of free Idea-Idea to call every month. He also told be that Security deposit of 200 will waive off by adjusting 100/- in 2 consecutive bills. He told me that the connection will be active in next 24 hours.

When the service was not active in next 48 hours, I called the Marketing personnel, and then he told me that after verification, my connection will be restored. On 27th August the person from Idea came to my residence address at 8 PM for verification (1st of all he should be not come to my residence, since I gave my address of my office). Next day he again to my office in the afternoon for verification. On 29th August I got the call for Idea cellular that my verification is successfully completed and connection was restored. The next day 30th August, my service was disconnected. When I called customer service they told me that verification was negative. The reason for negative verification was false. I was told that Verification personnel didn't found me at my residence and instead he talked with my brother. I am alone living in Mumbai, My brother lives in US and my parents live in Ranchi. Then on what basis the verification was negative and Idea cellular cheated me on this issue. They will again send the person for re-verification. After several call to customer service and mail to the Nodal officer, the Idea Personnel came to my residence after 2 weeks. He never visited my office, which was my valid address. This was the violation of rule set by Telecom department, which would result in penalty for Idea cellular. These are only few of complaints I suffered and list is long.

I was levied the roaming charges when I visted Pune and made call. In the Bill Statement, the 100/- was not adjusted and told to me that 100/ was Idea-Idea local call. Even the idea cellular failed to take action on the marketing personnel who lied me. I called to customer service and logged the 3 request to disconnection of the service. I was told that I have to visit idea store. I told him that I have no time to visit the Idea cellular and I am going out of City. Then Customer service personnel told that you would be receiving the SMS for disconnection of service. After several request, the request is not being serviced after raising request 3 weeks ago.

I have suffering the poor service, False committed made by Idea cellular, mental harassments, and loss of time and money due to period my Incoming was blocked. I asked for the compensation which they refused to do so. Now they sent personnel to my residence to collect the bill amount.

I don't have objection in giving the pending bill amount. But I want to ask the questions to Idea Cellular, Who will compensate me for the Poor Service, Unserviced Period, Mental harassments, false promises, Violation of telecom rule etc.

I was the happy customer of Idea cellular (Pune) from Jan 2005 to Nov 2006. I am also the shareholder of Idea cellular. I have lost the trust in Idea cellular. I will advise all my friends to think 100 times while taking the service of Idea cellular ( in broad any product from Aditya birla Group).

Don't treat this complaint as negative but to improve your service and gain the trust of your esteemed customers.

Idea — Poor service provider

Hi All,

This is in regards to the online recharge made by me on my Idea Net Setter, using the details given at the main Idea Online recharge site, http://www.onlinerecharge.in/idea-net-setter-online-recharge.html .

The details given at the main site are totally false and misguiding. The customer care too irritates you so much and of no help at all. Even the Nodal officer never responds to your query.

I made an online recharge of Rs. 599 on my Idea Net setter prepaid as per the details given at the main official site of Idea, but the irony is now they say that the recharge if of Rs 598. The false details provided by the Idea and the disappointing response of the customer care and the nodal officer makes Idea a worst service provider.

I recharged my number ([protected]) today for Rs. 67.00 for availing the free sms service (15, 000 messages). I got a message from the number 3891 saying that the number has been recharged and the talk-time is Rs.59.00. I called the number 198 to check if my number is recharged for free message or talk-time.

A lady named ASHWINI PANCHAL answered the call. who was extremely rude right from the opening of the call. When I told her the issue, she said that she is unable to see any recharge being done on my number. I said that I did it just now, to which she replied that "I feel you haven't done any recharge at all and calling just like that." This pissed me off. I asked for a supervisor. The reply was "KAAHE KE LIYE". I SAID AS SHE IS UNABLE TO RESOLVE MY QUERY, I WANT TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR. SHE REPLIED "REMEMBER, YOU ARE TALKING TO A CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE AND AS YOU ARE TALKING VERY RUDELY TO ME, I M DISCONNECTING THE CALL" and hung up.

Highly upset, I called again and a man named Gyaneshwar answered the call. I again asked for a supervisor. However I was told that no supervisor is available on the floor. I said that I am ready to hold the line. But the agent seemed to be adamant and reiterated that there is no supervisor and will not be available for the next 4 hours. Having no choice I explained the situation to him, to which he showed no signs of empathy and instead just informed that the recharge has been done and the service will start within 4 hours. Also on asking as to why didnt the previous agent informed me the same he said "You are asking me the same question again and again. Hence, i am disconnecting the call."

I called the number 198 again and this time I found another nerd named Ramkishan. For a change, he apologised and gave me the corrrect information. On asking him for a supervisor, again I was told that none is available. On asking him for an email address to lodge a complaint, I was kept on hold for around 10 minutes and then given the company's email address. This agent went a step further to add that "Aapko ek hi baat baar-baar batani pad rahi hai."

Is this what is caaled as "CUSTOMER CARE?" I am extremely disappointed that the lack of basic courtesy and mannerisms. The language used by ASHWINI PANCHAL is fit to be called "rowdy and cheap." The other two agents were equally useless.

It seems that your agents have been taught to behave rudely with customers, not to hand-over the calls to supervisors even after repeated requests from the customer and also to disconnect the call, as per their own whims and fancies.

I am aware that pre-paid customer are being cared for two hoots by Idea. However, this cannot be denied that pre-paid customers too contribute to the revenue of the company. Ignoring their complaints will do no good to the company.

Please do something about this or elae there are many other service providers available in the market. The customers are spoilt for choices. With such dismal level of customer service and such mannerless agents, the customer won't lose anything, but the company will surely lose "some" business.
Disconnection of my no[protected]
respected sir i am using this no form 4 yrs & got transferred from Number portability on 01/11/11 through Idea Gallery this no normally i used for data card which is from Tata Photon

As on 2day this no. normally i sued only for incoming call which this no only few people knows it & sometime i dialled 2 them

on 30th Oct while changing my Sim Card to another handset suddenly MSG came on mobile Sim card error so immediately i contacted to yr Help Centre no 12345 abt my problem & they guided me to go to nearest gallery which is Andheri (east) NR Pallavi hotel on 2nd day early morning at 10.00 am i gone to same gallery & explain the problem & after that Ms Reema has given me a new Sim card after submit my all papers to them with one of photograph & she says it will activate with in 4 hrs as i on Journey to Kashmir & Amritsar i strictly requested to do the needful she again promise surely it will get done & i paid Rs 50 for new Sim card & Rs 70/ for refiling

even after 2 days the above Sim card not get activated i called from Roaming to Ms Reema on this no[protected] so many times but she was helpless even my Roaming charges was very high due this communication after that i received a call from M/s Idea May Be ca; Centre no is[protected] in Roaming 2/3 times asking abt my problem here also i paid very heavy charges for same call the lady told me as soon as u reached mumbai pls contact yr same dealer ..i was complete;y helpless every day i called to Ms Reema abt my status but she was not able to give me any answer

after arrived to Mumbai when i gone to gallery the lady told me yr no. cant get back its gone to Recycles process i was completely shocked 7 not able to say anything more agn after several request she suggested we will send one mail which is request & will see for this again she given me a new Sim card & say same way it will activate with in 2 hrs

again after 2 days no activation was got then she advised me to go 2 Yr Idea Head office Windsor house Kalina mumbai ..on 9th Nov 2012 i met Mr Ganesh Parthe who no is[protected] explained all problem after hearing all my details again he advised me to re submit the documents to gallery & promised me that my no will re activate within 1 weak of time which is 21/11/2012 even he say he will try my best to get before that Monday & Tuesday he promise & guided me t o remove Sim card make switch of mobile all procedures but no use even Thursday he told me at any cost yr cell will be start 2day eve by latest 5pm its my word ..but very sorry to say as on 2day Sunday 25th Nov 2012 no reply had come no he is not answering my phone call also or not replying to my Sms's also now i am very scissor position what to do now?

this no is very imp number to me & its attached to my Banking Accounts My Gmail accounts even i am subscriber to Way 2 sms's & in emerging to my spl ones

My small Questions are very simple 1. when on 31st i Dialled a number & recd a call & just while changing Sim card why its blocked
2. when i contacted helpline why they are not informed me about my Recycle process
3. when i gone to Andheri gallery why they issue me a replacement card & promise it will start with in 4 hrs
4. When i was in Roaming Kashmir, Punjab & Delhi why Idea people contacted me & promise it will start very soon conversation also long for which i spend a lot
5. when i returned to Mumbai & i contacted yr head office every time false promise & just guide me to remove Sim & put it again when Mr Parte knows still in system its not activated.
6. i suffer a lot & now no one is responding for this in this connection i lodged a complaint to National Consumer Forum & Grahak seva also which link is enclosed

I have done MNP to IDEA but getting really pathetic experience from it’s customer car
Recharge Rs.37by USSD code watsup pace but when I used my whatsup it was charge from my main balance.
I made call to customer care 3 time on 03-jun-2015. In 1st instance when I told to CSO that 15 rupee has been wrongly charged from my number and in no time he replies that sir, my system is not working please call after 1 hour. I told him that dear I have 4 year experience of customer care experience and I know these things after few minute he is saying that I am transferring your call to senior and put my call on hold and than he is saying sir my senior is busy on another call so plz call after some time and then he disconnect the call.
In 2ndinstance I made call to customer care after 3 hour a lady pick the call and I have explained all my problem she instantly said system is not working plz call after 4 hour. But I denied to disconnect the call and ask for refund after 10 minute she transfer the call to her senior and her senior said sir your balance was deduct for application used then Have explained from starting to end that I did not use any application I opened what sup and closed and ask for refund coz my 37 rupee pack is not working but she did not refund and disconnect the call after 20 minute
I have really very pathetic experience with idea customer care if your will call to its customer care for balance deduction customer care will simply reply call after1 or 4 hour our system is on up gradation (system is not working)
I want to mentioned that i did not use any application only change internet use mode from 2g to 3g and my balance is still wrongly charged wether i am using it from 2g or 3g and not getting any help

Dear Sir/ Mam,
I am Deepak Arora just started new connection on billing idea [protected] and yesterday i just gota sms from some company that they charge 250 rs added in my bill amount i didnt used that service at all at same time i called ur customer support whether u can see the details in bill about this i said register my complaint against it they refused to do so i was thinking that ur company is providing best services to customers but sorry to say ur customer executives are really bad and even dont know how to talk with clients now i want u to wave out these unnecessary charges which is added by huax fake company which i dont know and even today i called ur saurav saxena Senior Supervisor o[censored]r company he clearly say that we cant help u out i[censored] want to shut the connection u can do.

so i request you to wave out these charges otherwise i will not gonna pay this amount and also file complaint against it to higher authorities.

i will also not recommended to any other person to get idea connection as i am web developer and doing seo for different big companies i will spread about it on social media also. whether it is a small amount but its illegal way to get money.
This is just cheating with innocent people and i cant make payment of such charges.
