I applied for a new passport in tatkal scheme . As per the online passport status enquiry , i found the passport despatched on 28/04/2010 . Still now i have not recieved the passport .The details :
Name : DATTATREYA SENAPATI.

Date of Application : 20 / 04/ 2010 .
As per online passport status enquiry : passport delivered on 28/ 04/2010 through post , registration No :[protected] .
I checked in the local post office . As per there report the passport not arrived to there post office . The passport delivered on 29/04/2010 arrived but my passport still now not arrived .
So, Please search the passport where is it , and please send the passport ASAP .Because , I have air ticket to go Ethiopia on 25/05/2010 .

The application submitted 10.03.2010 but I have not received my new passport and police verification also not complaeated. The internet status as send police varification. I would like to suggest you write an RTI application and submit it to nearby GPO (General Post Office) with the fee of Ten rupees.
There are following steps.
1) Write an RTI application on a plain paper [ You can take help from the sample application attached with this mail. ]
2) Photo copy it.
3) Visit Head Post Office nearby and submit the application. Get photocopy stamped by post office & take this copy with you.
4) Now relax. With in one/two weeks your passport should be with you.
Its a simple effective step. Just try this at least once only before paying bribe to any govt official.
