My nane is AMJAD ALI IDRISHI and I had applied on[protected] with file refrence no LKOA06500408.
I have seen my status online which shows "Police Report has not been received" but there is no such file in the Police Station and even not my any enquery have been done.

Dear all,

This is Amjad Ali, and I have been in USA for past some years on dependent Visa, and recently i have returned to home country on vacation.
As my passport is due for renewal, i have applied for the same,
in Tatkal, so that i could receive the same soon and i fly back to USA,
i am told that in tatkal we will receive the PP in just three days and almost 2and1/2 month is over my no news no status update.
Eventhough the Police verification is done satisfactorily but up to day no update.
the status is shown as " Others".
I also visited the office thrice and met the PRO but is of no use.

what the hell is going on there,
is that the PRO is also infected by the disease of corruption or some thing else.
what the dirty kind of service these buggers provide.
( i do not want to use abusive language in this forum )
if the things are like this how the hell our own country will grow.

I Mr. kailash sedai from manipur has applied my passport since six month before, but actually i didn't received till now though my file no. is A007061 from guwahati.
So now i need it urgently, whenever i see i found that police report has not received which i have given all my documents and verification earlier.

Dear sir, My grand son birth date is 06.04.2008 and we apply for p.p.on 01.07.2008.file no.M002065. it was states that pp will be dispateched on 22nd of july.after that see pro.after meeting with pro.waiting for police inquire sd visit five timesp.s. agaon pro.waiting for police repo0rt.visit p.s. many times, luckly found police inquire in sep.and accomplished it. we wanted to go for umrah in month of ramadhan(september) but fail to fulfil due to pp office. we are leaving for hajj in december there is one month for vissa proceedure.we are waiting for pp.of my grand son.
i want to know the reason for not issuing pp.the chiled three month old is crimanal or wanted by police or terrorist.
there is any one to ask the pp.department.

After submitting my complaint for not receiving the passport even after verification I came across this forum.

Q. No. 1
Does anyone really look at this forum to solve the passport problems or its just like a government passport grievance mail which is never even looked at?

I am not really sure someone will even look at it and try to solve the problem but my problem is I had applied the passport for my mom and police verification was also done but the status on http://passport.nic.in/ is shown as “2 Personal Particulars forms and 2 photographs duly completed and singed by you.” I sent so many mails to passport complaint email grv.[protected]@mea.gov.in but no reply. Its been 5 months now with the same status.

Is there anyone who can help me out?

2nd reminder...
I have submitted my passport in Bhubaneswar passport office on 12th JUne 2007 by myself. It has been written that, if we apply for passport in normal, we will get the passport within 2-3 months. But till now, already 1 year and 4 months gone...i hve not got passport...when i check for status in website its showing the file number is wrong or information is not available.I sent an email also to the given mail-id in the website even though no reply from them. Can you please look into this issue and reply me. or can u suggest me regarding this...

I have applied the passport in 30 July 2008.
Police verification has been completed, but still i didn't get the passport.

If i check the status of passport through online (www.indianpassport.nic.in) even today it is showing below information.
' Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by[protected]. Subject to all documents being in order '

but i didn't get the passport and the mentioned date is already crossed and no other information is available.

My passport ID is W38 is not compelete.
